good talk

Michigan State has won their last 4 bowl games, while Alabama has lost their last 2.  It'll be 11 points by game-time but super-duper-interesting

good talk

The Clark County Library Employees (Las Vegas) are now taking-off both Thanksgiving and the day before and Christmas and the day before, and they call the day before Thanksgiving "Family Day," and claim it's a holiday, and that the day before Christmas is also (?)  You'd think that public servants would be eager to accommodate the Public, many of whom have-off the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas.  The Library Employees are members of the Teamsters Union, which saw 3 of their Presidents in a row go-off to prison.  The Clark CLE are self-serving and well-known for their, big ass.  I wanted to bet Michigan State on the money-line to beat Alabama outright, but Connor Cook, their quarterback, was wearing a harness for his shoulder at practice on Sunday, it doesn't sound like he's going to be 100%.  Gambling a large amount heightens the senses, and is a lot of fun.  Connor Cook went to Walsh Jesuit, outside of Akron, Mike Vrabel who played so well for the Patriots, went there.  But Cook is from Hinckley, in Medina County, which adjoins Summit and Cuyahoga Counties, where is Akron and Cleveland, so it's a long jaunt but worth-it.  In 1818, there was a huge massacre of wild-life around Hinckley, providing a buzzard smorgasbord (actually, the Turkey Vulture), and ever since, the Buzzards have returned to Hinckley on March 15, as their ancestors ingrained fond-memories of the food-fest in their continued offspring, with Hinckley's population of several thousand swelling by 50 thou, it's quite the big-thing in that part of Ohio.  The Eternal Question, never to be answered, is why are the punters and kickers always White Guys (resounding feets)

good talk

there's an extra wouldn't in there,  in all sincerity, I wish you didn't exist

good talk

I've got a ton of Hits already today, you're insatiable.  Yesterday, I worked-out, then went and gave blood, I feel like I was hit with a rock.  In early Feb., Mike is going to Fairbanks to see the Aurora Borealis, sounds real-good.  I saw "Everest" at Tropicana Cinemas at Trop and Pecos, $2, I often go there Fri. afternoon, then go katty-kornered across the street to Wal-Mart for groceries.  That was pretty-good but sad, all those people dying.  When I was in Kathmandu, I flew in a 10-seater and saw the top of Everest, usually you can't see it and the flight is cancelled.  Some nice, little, fellow, attached himself to me as a guide, and one of the places I went was this Holy Pool of Water, where there was some naked guy, painted-red, my guide told me that he said that I could take his picture, I didn't want to take his picture.  Some people don't deal-well with the Holidays, Thanksgiving Day, 1980, Priscilla Ford drove down the sidewalk of the main-drag in Reno, killing 7 and maiming many.  On Dec. 20, 2015, Lakeisha Holloway, drove a quarter-mile down the Las Vegas Strip, often on the sidewalk, killing one and maiming numerous, she dragged an obese Mexican woman 200 yards underneath, who was all crammed-in there, you gotta figure had she been svelte she wouldn't probably wouldn't have been dragged at all

good talk

Armin Hary also anchored the winning German 4x100 metres team at the 1960 Rome Olympics, after the apparently-winning U.S.A. team was disqualified for running out of its lane, when the first 3 guys get close to the next runner, you yell "Stick" and hand-it-off, all the while staying in your assigned-lane, nothing is easier.  Also, the apparently-winning 1988 Olympic 4x100 metres U.S.A. team, wearing those silly-hoods, was disqualified for running out of its lane.  During his Track Career, it was well-known that Armin took payments from Adidas and Puma, under-the-table, as they were forbidden under the IOC rules of that time.  Armin as a child during and after WW 11 had known real-hunger for long periods, and wasn't going to be a big doctor like Dave Sime (he devised a lens for Bob Griese, who was blind in one eye, and made other medical-improvements), and nobody wanted to see Armin go-back to a state of near-poverty.  But in 1980, Armin was sentenced to a year and half in prison for defrauding the Catholic Church in a real-estate deal, but the Germans decided to heck with it, and just fined-him.  There was no sin that Armin could commit that wouldn't be forgiven by his Countrymen, and today both Armin and Dave are enjoying their Golden Years basking in their Nation's admiration

good talk

I've got other things to do, but you people need this bad, tsk.  Congrats to Terry Bowden and the Akron U. Zips (short for Zippers) on their bowl-win over favored Utah State, who came-back and almost got it. Ha, I once stood on Boise State's famous blue-field and didn't notice that it was blue, well, I hadn't been to bed the night before.  Steve Harvey seems like an all-right guy, now, some of us have made big-mistakes.  Usually the Miss Universe Contest goes under the radar, now Miss Columbia and Miss Philippines should be able to milk-this for a lot. Just last year, Miss Universe gave-up the crown after being adjudged fat, in 1995, Miss Universe, from Venezuela, was 174 lbs. halfway thru her reign, and was making public appearances like that (was 122 when she won).  Donald Trump milked-this thoroughly, calling her an eating-machine (during the contest, when asked her plans for the future, she said that eventually she wanted to own a restaurant), and worked with her to reduce.  This General Court Martial for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is very-bad, I'm sure that he shouldn't have deserted in 2009, but he was punished a lot by being a prisoner of the Taliban, the faggoty bastards, for 5 years
