 Today, like lots of people, I went to Wal-Mart, the Wal-Mart Supercenter, at 3075 East Tropicana Ave.,  Las Vegas, NV, 89044. I had brought a bag of coins, which I put into the "Coinstar", in the front of the store, I was given a voucher for $30.80, with the notation "Redeem today with any Cashier at this store", but after gathering, things to buy, the Cashier said, that she couldn't take the Voucher, so I paid cash, I went to the store exit, and asked the Greeter, to get the Manager, this brought "Amber", of whom, I asked, in a normal-tone ...Why can't I use this Voucher? Amber went away, and returned, with "Dee", who said she was Co-Manager, and a uniformed Security Guard. Throughout, I spoke civilly, never raising my voice, Dee said that she wouldn't  help me because I was being rude, because I had said ...Will you hurry, I'd like to get out of here... Well, 4th of July, and all, what's wrong with saying that? Hopefully, I can eventually use this Voucher, I'm looking at.  On May 23, flew Delta, Denver to Salt Lake, then to San Francisco, on 2nd leg, DL 1303, sat next to Black Lady, who was in the aisle seat, middle aged, overweight. She seemed quite nervous before take-off, as we did, she began hyperventilating violently, so much so, I was afraid she was going to pass-out or even die. I asked, if she wanted to hold my hand, she clutched her right in my left, throughout. Soon, a girl was crouching next to her, speaking softly, soothingly, holding her left hand, the lady quickly began breathing almost normally, I thought, from her professionalism, a nurse, it was a Delta Flight Attendant, flying to her home-base, San Francisco. This continued, until ...we've landed... the lady's angel, Daisy Santiago

 I've often telepathed to long-dead people in Old Movies. Natalie Wood tried to "mother me", of all things, a kind person. Carol Folt, grad from Akron Firestone, her sister, Lee, in my Class, and was at OSU, she used to come into the Gros Ventre, pretty-often, had a good Mug, Bob said, she had a good Body, smallish, Jewish, she dropped-out, after a couple Quarters, she was a Bank Teller, in downtown Akron, trying to get her Stuff together.  I read about McKayla, surprising for someone that age, she's led a decadent lifestyle. I had VA appts., I flew LV-SD-LV for $60.98, on "Spirit". Going, it was packed, Returning, half-full, the FA's moved us to distribute the weight, an Airbus A320, I had 3 seats by myself, as did the guy in front of me (many of the passengers weigh 300 lbs., they should pay more, and the rest of us less, with a contingency, to jettison some in emergency). Wed. Nite, at 7:30 P.M., it was blowing 55 mph, we were almost on the Runway, when the Captain abruptly pulled the Nose Up, and we went to several thousand feet above, as we circled around, to use another Runway, landing routinely. On our aborted-landing, our plane was wobbling and making funny-sounds, so this Pilot knew his Potatoes. I had never experienced this

I used to live in a real-big Complex, and "Tom" was head of Maintenance, while his wife, "Carol", worked in Housekeeping, in their 40's, both were heavy-smokers, you'd see them walking-around, puffing-away. Carol developed a lung-disease, and Tom took her back home to Iowa, to die. A year later, I saw an approaching figure, and didn't recognize him, until he got close, it was Tom, he was all bent over, and sorrow-stricken, in 1 year, he had aged 15 years. Someone explained it to me, that if you're used to somebody being there, and then they aren't, you might feel that way. Saddest thing I've ever seen

 3 years ago, this Spring, I was on the Campus of U. Alabama, walked on their football field (See My Blog for Sept. 8, 2018). I was in their Library, saw a big stack of that day's "New York Times", a $3 newspaper, and took one, when I got back to the Greyhound, I told Flora this, she said ...For Free? I nodded, she said ...For Free? Maybe she thought her tax dollars wasted on these Kids. She gets 11% Commission per ticket, sold me 2. I saw that picture, of that Ohio State Player, holding a trash-barrel, intimating, this is Alabama, he did this because, Alabama is Trash, and so are you if you root for them!
