good talk

My friend, Warner (1st name), was a Flight Engineer in the Air Force, and said that he never would have allowed that AirAsia plane to fly in that weather.  I've taken the Ferry from Patras, Greece to Bari and Brindisi, Italy, or the other way, a number of times.  I'm surprised at this recent disaster.  The one time going from Patras to Bari, I opted as always for the el cheapo fare, but that time instead of being allowed to sleep in the lounge they made me stay on-deck, it was night-time and I was only wearing a ban-lon and it was cold as heck.  I covered-myself with newspapers and that helped-some.  It was a long, rough, night.  I was eager to jump-in for 5 thou on one of the New Year's 'Dogs, but after further research backed-away.  Both are 9 points, but Scott has Florida State down by only 3 Points in his estimation, and he doubled-down on them.  In what will probably be a shootout, will Mariota or Winston be the last-man-standing?  Will Scott prove to be a Seer?

In popular lore since WW 11, the French are always depicted as having been against the German Occupation (the Nazis went through the weak French like a hot-knife through butter), often working for the Resistance.  When you talk to the Old Guys who were there after D-Day they tell you that the French didn't like the Americans, they say the Germans paid them better.  I've had an inordinate number of Hits from France lately,  Ed will lead you Silly Old Frogs out of your usual Chaos if you pay me real good (hey, they're mercenary).  When you go to the Zoo you'll notice that a lot of the Monkeys resemble Kim Jong Un.  This past Saturday, there was an impromptu Rally in Cleveland by Thousands in Support of the Police, those people want law and order not the anarchy for which those degenerates have been marching.  One of the Speakers was a young woman whose fiance was an Akron Policeman shot-to-death there last month by a Lunatic waving a gun threatening the people in a crowded-bar.  The off-duty Policeman tried to get the Gunman to leave the bar, by all-accounts he saved the lives of others.  Tiffany Miller said she won't be getting married this June.  Cleveland has always been a very-rough town.  Detroit Ave. used to be a string of seedy-bars, I've been there with my younger brother, Tom, to look around.  I lived in Kent my last 5 years in Ohio, and my room-mate was from Cleveland.  His cousin was beaten-to-death on Detroit Ave. by Hillbillies with baseball-bats

Nike has always been first by a wide-margin in the Sale of Athletic Apparel, with Adidas a respectable 2nd.  However, over the past year Under Armour surpassed Adidas in this regard, leading Adidas to hitch-themselves to McKayla to pull-them past the Usurpers, to regain their rightful Market Share.  McKayla is a can-do Gal and I know that she'll be successful (being even more of a noble character).

The number of hits I've had just recently, aww, you folks were thinking of Ed at Christmas, that's so cute.  Anderson Varejao lost to an Achilles is a devastating-blow for the Cavs.  Making-out like Black People are no more likely to commit crimes than White People might be unrealistic, the FBI recently-stated that most bank robbers are Black Males.  I was "67 and a half" on Christmas, when I tell people that and say so when is my Birthday, nobody can figure this out, all one has to do is add or subtract 6 months, it's June 25.  I always did know that, when I was "10," on Christmas as we were heading to the Officer's Club in our big Buick (everybody had one, those were the days) for the Festivities and Buffet, I thought, hmmm, today I'm halfway to being an Adult.  Pretty-good for a little boy, huh.  Nobody saw Fracking producing such a resounding effect and so quickly, Repeal the Ban on U.S. Oil Exports, let the Free Market reign, always.  Barry was recently thumping his chest, and he has looked-good, saying that Vlad was depicted as the ChessMaster outmaneuvering him and the U.S. and now look at him.  Energy is the only-arrow in Russia's Quiver, there could be Armed-Uprisings from those discontent seeing their Purchasing-Power half that of a year ago.  Vlad (Muammar Gadaffi), knowing when to get out-of-town is one of the best things you can ever learn.

good talk

The late Ted Stepien was once (1981 to 1983) the colorful owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.  Ted decided that for a publicity-stunt he should throw 3 softballs from the top of the Terminal Tower, one dented a car another broke a woman's arm, Ted was a wild-one.  It was these Weak-Minded Marchers (trying to liven-up their dull lives) who egged-on that Creep who smoked those 2 Policemen in New York.  Bed-Sty is a horrible-place, it can easily get so that no Cops are willing to go in there.  A half-year ago 2 Policemen in Las Vegas were shot to death as they ate Lunch.  Maybe nobody will be willing to be a Policeman anywhere in the U.S.  Those disgusting Marchers laying-down on that filthy-pavement.  Bermane Stiverne, 3rd-Ranked Heavyweight will meet Deontay Wilder, 6th-Ranked Heavyweight in "The Ring's" most-recent Ratings at the MGM on Jan. 17, and I'll be there.  It's very-rare that such highly ranked Heavyweights collide (Stiverne is 24-1-1 with 21 Knockouts and Wilder is 32-0 with 32 Knockouts against inferior competition).  Deontay has never been-in with anyone like Bermane, who I think will win.  I got my seat next to the Camera, maybe you'll see me walk-in front of it or something, it's on Showtime, which I get but much more Fun to be there.  Look for Thunder to Roll.  I was real-suprised to learn that the reclusive Al Haymon who controls so much of Boxing, is Black.  Al has an M.B.A. from Harvard and look at what he's accomplished, so they can do it if they put their minds to it (no rhyme intended).  But wait, Black People like rhymes ...They Can Do It If They Put Their Minds To It...        ...They Can Do It If They Put Their Minds To It...   I could see this sweeping the Nation

good talk

Ed is sad and lonely for the big money he deserves, all these dime a dozen people pulling down heavy-readers and him not bothers Ed a great deal.  Sorry about Jabari Parker being lost for the rest of the NBA Season, I saw him play and well this past Summer.  Browns Stadium and the R and R Hall of Fame are right on Lake Erie, and you can look out on the beautiful huge lake.  The first Europeans to see the Great Lakes were French Explorers who were amazed at the size of what were Seas of Fresh Water.  Indeed, 21% of the World's fresh water are these.  The Great Lakes are extremely treacherous with vast numbers of sunken-boats since the first Men began using them.  These Eastern European Types' goal used to be a Good-Paying blue-collar job that they could work for 30 or 40 years enabling them a pretty high standard of living, they could own a house and a couple of new cars (hardly any of these jobs left in this Country).   I knew a guy who knew a guy who had had a hard-time finding a "Good Job."  Finally, this young fellow did find one, as a Great Lakes Sailor, and his Ship was the "Edmund Fitzgerald" (See the lyrics for Gordon Lightfoot's "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald").  Be careful what you want, you might get it.

Ed wants to make lotsa money, and deservedly so.  In today's "Dear Abby," a woman says that her co-worker is "deaf," what she means is that she won't listen to her.  In her reply, Abby indicates that she believes that this co-worker actually is deaf.  I enjoy your column, but really, darling.  The late Stevie Ray Vaughan was way overdue for inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  I've been there twice, so has a friend of mine, you're really missing-out by not going, do you think we go there because we don't want to be there.  It's next to Browns Stadium, and a nice walk from Indians Stadium and Cavs Arena in the beautiful downtown--those tunes that quicken the pulse, Cleveland Rocks!  One of the weirdest things I've seen, I was reading "Newsweek," and saw a picture of this dead Negro propped-up in what seemed to be a Cadillac Seville with a jaunty hat, red suit, and his hands on the steering-wheel.  It was a facsimile-coffin, it had a front windshield, functioning headlights, white-wall tires, he had diamond-rings with several hundred dollar bills stuck between his fingers.  This was Willie Stokes, Jr., known as Willie the Wimp, a big drug-dealer who was gunned-down in Feb., 1984.  His father, Willie Stokes, Sr., a really-big drug dealer had wanted to immortalize his child, and did so as best he could.  Willie Sr. was himself gunned-down 2 years later.    ...Southside Chicago Will Think of Him Often, Talkin' About Willie the Wimp and his Cadillac Coffin...    ...Willie the Wimp...

I don't watch anything on the CW, but when I channel-surf everybody on the CW looks glum.  Tis' the Season...  She was very mean to me and I got over it, and I wish her well.  She's a great Gal in her own way and she should continue to do what she has been doing, I wish her great success (I'm sort of a noble character in this).  We're kind of star-crossed lovers, that is so romantic

good talk

The Giants winning 3 out of 5 of the past World Series is amazing considering there's 30 Major League Teams.  Madison Bumgarner and Buster Posey as Battery-Mates almost seems as though Baseball is returning to its roots as a Rural Southern Game, they learned it in Union Prisoner-of-War Camps.  Madison is the best Money Pitcher of All-Time.  Scott and his friend took a variety of weapons, amongst them a Kalashnikov, out to the very good rifle and pistol range in Las Vegas, bet that was fun, I've never shot one.  Scott won good on Mariota winning the Heisman, he's doubling-down on taking Fla. State and the Points.  Mikal Gilmore is an acclaimed author and was a long-time writer for "Rolling Stone."  The brother of Gary Gilmore, yes.., who's I.Q. was tested at 133, Mikal was the youngest of 4 brothers, and his father's favorite, whereas his brothers were severely beaten thus making them mean, Mikal was not and amounted to something.  I've been to Yellowstone a couple times, the last time I ran out of gas due to a leaky fuel pump.  I called the Rangers and 2 brought me gas enough, at an exorbitant price, to get me to West Yellowstone.  One noticed that I had an opened 12-Pack of beer, no beer cans or anything, and proclaimed this "Probable Cause," to see if I was driving intoxicated.  No Probable Cause at all.  I probably had popped a few the night before but this was the afternoon of the next day, somebody owning unopened beer meant nothing.  They had me try to walk in a straight-line, which I did as well as I usually do. This was the only time in my life that I had to do anything like this.  My car was pulled over to the side of the road, and the Rangers were conducting their mighty test of myself also on the side of the road, which was one lane in each direction.  The Tourists in their Vehicles were making-out like they had Dillinger, with Traffic voluntarily stopping for a hundred yards each way

good talk

After Ohio State routed U. Wisconsin, their Star, Melvin Gordon ...We just wasn't playing Wisconsin football... They teach English at U. Wisconsin?  New Hampshire's State Motto is ...Live Free or Die... When Wisconsin was selecting a State Motto somebody's suggestion was ...Eat Cheese or Die...  I said this in the New Hampshire State Capitol and they laughed, I said this in the Wisconsin State Capitol and they saw no humor.  All these Marches by people with nothing else to do over 2 incidents, if they want the Police to lessen their efforts in these Black Ghettos, it'd be Chaos.  Law Enforcement hasn't always been as subtle and refined as it is today.  In 1966, during the Race Riots in Hough (pron. huff), the Cleveland Police Chief said ...Go in there and whip heads...

Mary Ann Mobley passed recently at "77," one of the most beautiful of the Miss Americas. Miss America in 1958 while a student at the U. of Mississippi, Mary Ann's successor as Miss America in 1959 was Lynda Mead, also a student at the U. of Mississippi and Mary Ann's Chi Omega Sorority Sister.  In 1960 the U. of Mississippi won a shared National Championship in Football, so Ole Miss was doing well in those days. Mary Ann died from Breast Cancer, my Mother died from this, long and lingering, she's gone to a better place.  If someone has the inclination to make me wealthy, you may do so

Before I went Online I had lotsa Hits.  If I stopped my Blog you Readers would Wither Away like the Wicked Witch of the West (after 2 months ...I can't take any more, I'm withering away...)  I went to that Post Office I spoke of on Tuesday at 9:30 A.M., whereas in the past at this time of the year, there'd be a line out-the-door, there were only 2 possible customers present (people want packages sent and received, not stolen).  Over the past couple years, all this Bad Language in Newspapers, Magazines, regular network TV Shows, I think they do it because I dislike it so much (I was watching the CMT and some tattooed geek was singing how if he's lucky he'll get (slang term for sex).  I'm telling you, the Mass Media has the Mark of the Beast, when they go home they take off their clothes and run-around on all fours baying)

These Marches throughout this Country and even in foreign lands, over Ferguson and New York are Stupid.  That Thug outside of St. L got what he deserved, the unfortunate incident in New York was egregious, but don't They Think that the Police in both Places have done a lot more Good than Bad, for every bad thing they've done a hundred good things.  The People on these Marches must not have much to do.  Bernard Hopkins did well to survive 12 Rounds at 175 lbs. against Sergey Kovalev on Nov. 8.  Knocked Down for only the 5th Time in his 26-Year Pro Career (he's never been Cut, those Cookies), and "50" in January, Bernard with his Good Intelligence (his own manager for the past 20 years) and Virtuous Intents would make a fine Elected Official---a Paragon ever since he left prison at "23." And shouldn't Barry be thinking of giving Bernard a Pardon for his youthful indiscretions (6 Felonies), Bill Clinton, as he left Office, gave some Hispanic a Pardon who was in Prison for moving 800 lbs. of Cocaine.  Bernard was only the 4th Fighter to last past the 7th Round with Sergey, in 2011, Kovalev killed a man in the Ring in Russia, that is, he died after 3 days.  It didn't bother Sergey much, if at all, Bernard faced a dangerous opponent.    When I go home I'm doing Christmas Cards, and one I send will be, as last year, to Ted Kaczynski.  Ted, inadvertently, did so much for his Country and has paid his Debt to Society, let the Old Guy out (See My Blogs for Jan. 6, 2009, Feb. 18, 2013, Oct. 1, 2013, and Dec. 10, 2013).  Can you imagine what Christmas is like for people in Prison, send Ted a Christmas Card or something else that he might like:  No. 04475-046, U.S. Penitentiary-Max, P.O. Box 8500, Florence, Colorado,  8126-8500    I've Often Preferred the Charming Rogue to the Bland Fellow

When I was a Grad Student at Kent State I saw Nick Saban and Gary Pinkel play for the Golden Flashes, also I saw Pinkel play for Akron Garfield.  Wisconsin was favored by 4 points over Ohio State and the Bucks trounced them, I've never seen anything like it, Wisconsin left Indy with Smoke Rising From Them.  Scott, a pro oddsmaker, says that Alabama is a Beast and that OSU won't be able to stay with them.  He said Florida State and the Points over Oregon is likely to succeed, and he's bet it.  I love to Gamble, and I'll put 10 thou on a Sportsbet.  Not for Decades, but I used to Drive Legally Drunk constantly, also Drunk and on Reefer, often most days of the year.  Well, if you went to a bar or party, you couldn't just stay there, you had to get home.  I've done this literally thousands of times, and like that Randy Travis Joke, I believed that my Driving was Better When I was Drunk because I was more careful, I was never Pulled-Over.  I'm Available to Speak on My Life to School Assemblies and Church Groups.

I'm living at Flamingo and Swenson in Las Vegas.  It's a heavily-populated Area and my apartment-complex is 350 Units, my 1-bedroom is located towards the front, it's the one with the Big Red-Bow in the Picture Window (I dyed it to make it darker).  Jumbo Jets from McCarran Airport are constantly flying over this heavily-populated Area which is a mile and a half away from the Airport.  The Federal Aviation Authority (the FAA) should Distribute This Bounty or Not Send The Planes Over Our Neighborhoods at All, as Other Areas are not as Populated.  In the Past, all my Requests of this Nature to the FAA have Been Granted

I don't have a thing against McKayla and I wish her well.  Due to all the Pub I gave her she signed with the same Agency that handles Taylor Swift (I've seen a picture of them embracing, friendship I'd say), the Agency has a tie-in to NBC, she shills for Adidas--and she's become Wealthy, all this is off My Back, and I'm glad to be so helpful.  But it Galls Me that I've been Ignored and live in Poverty.  Unlike McKayla, who'll never be happy, but being unhappy and Rich is a lot better than unhappy and poor, I'd be very happy if I could Make a Lot of Money.  And then I'd be in the Mood to Seek Women, and then I'd be Happier Yet.  Everybody I see on National TV makes a lot of money, and Who Couldn't Do It?  None of the Aforementioned other than myself have SuperHuman Powers, so how Just is it that They're Wealthy and I'm Poor?   Mick is promiscuous and a lesbian and I wouldn't want her for either of these, I had thought she was sugar and spice.  And I question the Mentality of Someone who would put nude poses of herself on the Internet.  But I never thought she'd get a Felony or Prison Term, she was young, that Guy who Assisted her wasn't Underage and the Feds can probably get him for this.  Anyway, her Background will Jazz-Up her Image and she'll sell even more Athletic Garb or Whatever.  I'm not going to be Happy if I have nothing to be happy about.  So Give Me My Just Due, Evil People.  Happy 19th, Beautiful

Anyone would think that the watch I'm wearing must be quite expensive.  This unmanned thing they're sending into Space is unimpressive, NASA landed a man on the moon in July, 1969 and should have landed a man on Mars by 1985 at the latest, the Feds have gone cheap on the Space Program which should have been enhanced, instead they spend money on Illegal Aliens and other inanities (?).  Tyson Fury (See My Blog for Aug. 25, 2013) is Vladimir Klitschko's likely next opponent.  Hayden Panettierre is 8 months pregnant by Vlad (his nickname is Dr. Steelhammer), but supposedly they're not getting along at the present, we're hoping this will change for the better.  I saw Scott at the gym this past Mon., I hadn't seen him in 6 weeks, we shook hands.  I told him that I had always noticed his strong grip, and we decided to grip right hands to see if one could get the better of the other (See My Blog on Dan Hodge, Aug. 10, 2009), I think Scott did better, well, he's a powerful man.  He said, now let's do left hands, it had been fun but that was enough for me.  See My Blog on Geronimo, Aug. 1, 2010, when things are named after Indians it's due to their bravery and skill in battle, it's never pejorative.

good talk

Black People's Histrionics Gets Me, they feel obliged to take to the streets over much of anything.  Of Late, Black People have been Complaining that they're excessively targeted by the Police as Possible Criminals, maybe it's not excessive and it's because a lot of them are criminals.  Barry's Flaunting of UnConstitutionality is also setting a bad example for them.  George Will noted that the Federal Government has Tomahawk Missiles, and Apache and Lakota Helicopters and that the Raid that killed Osama was codenamed--Geronimo, but that the Feds object to the Name of D.C.'s NFL Team.  When I was in Manhattan 2 years ago this past Spring I saw 3 Cops, 2 men and a woman questioning a Street Vendor on E. 42nd St. near 8th Ave., who was selling Watches, apparently his license was in order as the Police walked away.  3 Policemen to do this trifle, they had nothing else, say, like Crime, to take-up their time.  The Vendor, a Black Guy, who said he was given the License since he was a Vet, was selling nice-looking watches for $5, no tax.  I bought the 2 best-looking Men's Watches, he had quite a few, one for me and one for my bud, Scott.  As I was walking away I said ...Lance, you're wonderful...

good talk

"The Watch Store" at the Riverside Hotel and Casino in Laughlin has over 20 thou Watches and is the largest watch store extant, with most watches $20 or less.  Every Blue Moon they salt a Rolex in there amongst the usual watches, and if you come upon it you can buy it for $20, a good deal.  They've done this 13 times during the 20 years of its existence, the most recent was this past August, oh, what was I doing in August that I couldn't have been there?  Also, at the Riverside is their very impressive and extensive Classic Car Collection, free.  Laughlin, on the Colorado River, is always a lot of inexpensive and relaxing fun (the Riverside is Don Laughlin's Hotel).

McKayla hasn't put any of those pictures with writing on them in my computer lately, that's progress.  An unhappy girl, she knows that I'm the only person in the world who can make her happy, an age-difference, but it could be a lot worse, had I never been born it would be nobody.  I offered myself and McKayla initially was super-eager, but soon backed-away from this as she believes herself to be undeserving of me, and undeserving of happiness.  A beautiful, smart, girl like McKayla could have done me a lot of good.  Microwaves have been around for 40 years and I still don't know how to use one, I've never Microwaved anything.  I thought that McKayla could cook for us, Microwave anyway

I have a friend who was a Translator for a Year at Guantanimo right after it was Set-Up, a Real Patriot, and he says that the Prisoner-Compound should have been Shut-Down 10 Years Ago, heck yes.  I'm always reading "I could care less," it's "I couldn't care less."  The Incompetent Jeanne Goodrich, who was Dir(ctor of the Clark County Library District, has Retired, good.  The Library Employees (Teamsters Union) signed a Fine Contract a year ago, but why the Taxpayers would give them this is beyond me, Who Couldn't Do It?  This Year, they got not only Thansgiving but the day after off, the day after Tgiving they called "Family Day" and declared this a Holiday (?)  Increasingly, the Difference between the Librarians and the Transients Blurs.  My Older Brother knew that Ohio State Football Player who Shot Himself (was a Wrestler).  He knows a lot of the Ohio State Players as well as those at other Schools, he knows a lot of NFL Players.  An Extroverted and Active Guy, he knows a lot.  When one has had a number of concussions it leads to Dementia Pugilistica and Depression, that poor guy probably had everything going for him except this.  I got Ken Jennings' (hey, Mormon Genius) "Kennections" right this week, it was pretty easy.  I used to be a "Jeopardy" Addict but gave it up as I might affect the Final Outcome.  I got the Final Question right half the time, but I once missed 6 in a row.  One of the Contestants said ...If You Think Your Brain Is Strong, Jeopardy Will Prove You Wrong...    I'm at the mercy of the Library's Internet Current

good talk

I can't understand all this Cackling about me being robbed at the U.S. Post Office, about everybody uses the Postal Service especially at this time of the year.  Recently in S.I. they were talking about Gregg Popovich, the Coach of the San Antonio Spurs, having a "wine collection," it's Wine Cellar.  At the Chargers-Raiders Game there were quite a  "Tatum 32" Jerseys, Bad Jack lives on forever.  "Dumb and Dumber To" was raw but quite funny, "Annabelle" was real scary, having a Yuck and feeling chills up and down our Spines is good for us.  A blood-test on Michael Brown only revealed MJ?  Brown acted as though he was on PCP, Angel's Dust, when somebody is dangerous is when they're not afraid of being hurt.  Brown was a Thug and I'm glad he's dead.  I really felt bad about that Obese Guy in New York who the Cop killed by putting him in a Chokehold.  The poor guy was selling single cigarettes and for that the Cops are going to Arrest him?  He said "Leave Me Alone," were I in his situation I might be saying that as it makes no sense for the Cops to bother you over such a picayune thing.  So far as Resisting Arrest, he just said leave me alone, he wasn't being violent so What's with this Chokehold?  He weighed 400 lbs. but half that was Fat and his Physical Condition was obviously Delicate.  That Cop Murdered that Poor Guy.

You Media People, Are Just Green With Envy Regarding Myself.  All of You Wish That You Could Put Your Thoughts Into People's Minds on TV, I love being able to do that, who wouldn't want to do that?  Your Response Has Been To Try To Subjugate My Talents, You Don't Want Me To Make Any Money From This, And You've Often Tried To Persecute Me, Encouraged The Public To Be Mean To Me.  You're Evil People.

What did you think of my Blog on Jesse Bishop (Nov. 9, 2014), as it took a different look at Veterans Day?  I just revisited my Blog on one of my favorites, Joe Hipp (Feb. 13, 2010), it doesn't sound like he's doing anything too lucrative these days, Come On, You People, Contact Joe Hipp, in Washington State, if You Have a Good Job Offering, do something that's right for once.  I was just reading the current "The Ring" and Vladimir Klitschko on Corrie Sanders (See My Blog for Oct. 21, 2012), I saw them both fight, Vlad says that Corrie was the Best Puncher He has ever Faced ...He was very fast and he had very powerful hands.  I've been in Boxing for 25 years and I never fought anybody in this game that punched like Corrie...  Chrissie Hynde (4 years behind me at Akron Firestone) and the Pretenders (2 of the Original OD'ed in the early 80's, gave their all for Rock n' Roll) are coming soon to the Palms in L.V.  What I really hate is when I sneeze (always on the floor), somebody saying Bless You

I was Optimistic when Bob McDonald took over as Director of the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs as he had been CEO of Proctor and Gamble. But McDonald is Proving and Will Continue To, Be a Total Bust.  In the 20 Years that I've had Truck with the VA, I've written the VA Headquarters in D.C. once or twice a year with various concerns.  I do this for myself and also for the many Vets who can no longer write a good letter.  In July, I sent a letter via regular mail, to the VA in D.C., in which I explained that I had just had a Colonoscopy without Anesthetic at VA in San Diego (had a 3-foot cable shoved ...) and that this was my 4th Colonoscopy and the first without Anesthetic, and that I found it unpleasant, at best, and that I only wanted them, henceforth, while under Local Anesthetic (an IV of JoyJuice and you wouldn't care if they said they were going to toss you out the window).  I said that VA San Diego wanted me to have another in several months, and that I'd  be happy (be so happy) to comply with their Wishes, but that since they won't give you a Colonoscopy with Local Anesthetic unless you have a Driver, and they check his Driver's License, waiting for you while you undergo the Colonoscopy, that they can have me wait several hours before leaving, or put me up in the Hospital (they've done this often before).  I explained in the Letter that Today Many Vets Live Alone and Have No One who will Wait for Them a Couple Hours and Drive Them Away, and That This Was a Practical Solution.  It's Been Over 4 Months and I've Received No Reply from the VA Headquarters in Washington D.C., so I Guess I'm Not Going To.  For the Previous 20 Years I'd Send the VA in D.C. a Nice Letter and they'd Send Me a Nice Letter, But Since McDonald Has Become Director of the VA, They Won't Reply to the Veterans' Letters.  The Federal Entities Are Disintegrating.

I haven't done one since Fri. and I've already got mucho Hits, I'm real flattered.  A month ago I paid $144 to that same U.S. Post Office (have had this P.O. Box 72965, 89170, for the past 27 years, it used to be cheap) for that coming year.  I had them hold my mail while I was in San Diego, L.A., and Laughlin, I picked it up on Monday and included was this Note:  We are sorry to inform you that we have had another theft in the post office.  Your package was among the ones stolen over the Halloween weekend.    I asked them about this and they didn't even apologize, they just giggled.  The first time this happened was July 3, and I lost 18 days of mail and packages (waited for the Holiday Rush and lots of packages, everybody's was stolen, this time they stole all the packages but no mail, at least not mine).  After the first time the Postal Employees assured me that Precautions would be taken and this would never happen again.  The Postal Employees at the "University Branch," a real big Post Office across from UNLV, 4632 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, 89170, are Looting the People's Mail and Packages.  You Dolts allowed this to Continue after I Reported It the First Time, Will You Continue to do Nothing?  The Corrupt U.S. Postal Service Knows that they can Steal From the Public with Impunity, that Obama Will Protect Them in Their Larceny, Will Not Even This Awake Your Feeble Minds?

The Chargers-Raiders Game was Sold-Out.  The Chargers scored the only TD of the game a little over a minute into it, on a fumble-recovery on the Raiders first possession, and the Chargers 2nd play from scrimmage.  After that it was 2 Field Goals apiece, which sounds like a dull-game, but not so as the winless Raiders always stood a good chance of winning the game should they only do something right for a change.  But the little Raiders won last night 24-20 over a good KC Team and I'm proud of them.  The next night I was in L.A. at Staples Center to see the Clippers play the Chicago Bulls, and that was a Sell-Out.  The Bulls played without Rose and Gasol, no big thing to me as I've seen Rose play a few times, most recently this past Summer, and Gasol I've seen play a lot for the Lakers, but too bad for the Fans who had never seen one or both play, especially Rose, and were counting on this.  Nonetheless, the Bulls somehow, trounced the Clippers 105 to 89 on the Clippers' Home Court (?)  The Clippers seemed to try hard, maybe they were worried about Barry seeming to believe himself, Dictator.  This Current Hoopla (maybe I tossed this word in because I was just thinking about basketball) about Barry Violating the U.S. Constitution is Amazing to me, as he's been doing this for the past 6 years, so what's with this new-found Outrage?  You People are Slow on the Draw, with Bush the Younger, Your Hand Never Cleared the Holster

Currently there's a Trial in Las Vegas, this 7-year old boy's Mother and Stepfather (Black People) beat him with a belt-buckle, broomstick or spatula, and whipped him with an electrical-cord.  When the Little Boy went to his knees, he got back up, and he never cried under-torture, the Mother and Stepfather didn't like that.  In Nevada, if you hurt a child they'll really do it to you, they don't even have to prove Intent, the Mother already has plead Guilty to Charges less than Murder, it's the Stepfather who's on Trial, and they're going to find-out what is going to happen to them.  Hopefully, I didn't get you people upset.

I weigh 206.  I'm in Laughlin, you get a fine hotel-room dirt-cheap, and you can really relax, it's just a bunch of big casinos and a nice discount-mall on the Colorado River, there's nothing to fret-you.  I went to "Pint's" at the Colorado Belle last night, a real nice place packed with food-eaters and beer-drinkers, and had their 16-oz. T-Bone Dinner which includes a 20-oz. glass of your choice of the 6 beers being Micro-Brewed in big vats right in front of you, my choice was an Amber "Rehab Red," all this for $15 plus tax, heck yeah it was good.  Yesterday marked the 10th Anniv. of the "Malice at the Palace," a Big Brawl at the Piston's Home Court between Their Fans and Pacers' Players with Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson running into the Stands to Battle the Fans.  Man, was that Funny.  The Fans, who looked-like Joe Sixpack and a Pizza Stood Their Ground and Fought Really-Well against these Huge, Multi-Million Dollar Athletes, They didn't Lose.  The Miami Marlins just signed Giancarlo Stanton to a $325 Mil 13-Year Contract after the Fab Season that was the Young Man's 2014.  But Giancarlo's Season was Ended by a Pitched-Ball causing Facial Bone-Breaks and the Poor Guy losing teeth, won't he be gun-shy.  Frank Howard was asked when does one get over the Fear of Being Struck by a Screaming FastBall  ...Never...

I just went On-Line and suddenly I've gotten a lot of Hits, does the very thought of Ed titillate you People?  I've been a Force behind McKayla Maroney being held Responsible for her Actions, my Reasons are TwoFold:  I do it for the Public Weal and for McKayla's own good, as I have her best interests at heart.  Some of the Things she's done aren't Right, this Child Pornography Thing is only the latest, she's the product of Poor-Parenting.  If it takes McKayla going-off to the Big House to get her Straightened-Out, that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.  In Prison, Mick can go to On-Line U., further her Education (she says she likes girls, anyway).  That's the only-way that I would have gone to College had it been offered, to Hang-Around the Ohio State Campus and have to walk even a mile in freezing-cold so that I could listen to some Putz expound for 48 minutes and have to take notes on this Tripe, was just horrible.  What I've done is for McKayla's Benefit, and I think she's grateful.  I had a daydream recently, where I met Mick at the train-station after she gets-out of prison, that is so romantic.

good talk

Last Week, I saw Madison (6-3) play at Home against Point Loma (8-1) for their League Championship, both were undefeated in League Play, Madison, after losing its first 3 had won 6 in a row.  Madison's Streak continued, crushing Point Loma 36-14.  Interestingly, for Point Loma was a big, White Kid, Tim O'Brien, who was listed as 6'7" and 245 lbs. and seemed that large, catching a long Touchdown Pass, on Defense he play DL.  Tim, with his size and speed, would seem to be someone that a College Team would like, on the other hand, maybe he'd like to get into a good Apprentice Program or go to College and just attend to his studies, and not get his brains and body crunched.  Maybe he plays Basketball and can do that, that's not as bad.  I was at the Pacific Beach Public Library, yesterday, real nice and big physically, but Half of the "Patrons" were these Creepy Bums, who look terrible and act in Anti-Social Ways.  A great location, walking-distance to the Beach, this Library is full of Transients, who are allowed to bring-in their BackPacks, which also Stink.  It's Commonly thought that the Librarians want as many Transients in there as possible, so they can ask for more money.  The PB Library doesn't make for a good Library-Visit Experience.  What With their Horrible Roads for the past 20 Years, letting Public Employees use their Tax Money on Themselves rather than Infrastructure, San Diegans have always been a Brick Shy a Load.  I could easily-tell that Bush the Younger was a Loser (well, most Others thought that, Gore got a half-mil more Votes in 1980), and he was Re-Elected in 1984 after no Weapons of Mass-Destruction were found In Saddam's Iraq, though Bush Claimed there were and this is Why We Invaded, making the poor Iraqis' Lives much worse, if they managed to keep them.  During the 8 Years that Bush was President he totally De-Stabilized the Entire Middle East, and it's going to Stay That Way.  After no Wof MD were found in Iraq, You Allowed Him to Continue On, How Could You Fall for a Weak Shot Like That?  I feel a lot of tension after this McKayla thing, and my Shout-Out to the Comely Women of the World gained me naught, hopefully these upcoming Games will restore the blush to my cheeks.

good talk

I'm goin' to see the Chargers play the Raiders on Sunday, hey, the Chargers are a Hot Ticket even for the Raiders, it'll be a Sell-Out or close to it.  The Raiders are 0-9 and the Chargers (5-4) were blown-out by Miami in their last game, 37-0, but Somebody's gotta win.  The next evening, I'll be at the Staples in L.A. to see the Clippers play the Bulls.  I always need Fun and Excitement, I don't usually get it, but need it, nonetheless.  The past 3 weeks, when I've gone to Ocean Beach, I've seen Lance, a young Chiropractor, with his Table set-up near the Beach, and offering Chiropractic Adjustments for Donations.  Lance has his Practice from his house in O.B. 5 blocks away, just $40 for an Adjustment.  Lance has been at the Beach at O.B. on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, from 3 to 5:30 P.M., and the Young Man gave me fine adjustments, cracking my neck good.  We all need some Chiropractic in our lives.  619-540-5845  The new Director of the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Bob McDonald, is Regimenting everything, and is trying to get me to go to VA Las Vegas, which has always had a well-deserved horrible reputation, for my Medical Care, he's not going to let me continue-on with VA San Diego.  Before McDonald, the Veterans always had a lot of Choice in where they would go, I'm afraid that McDonald is going to prove abysmal.  For the past 20 years, I always gladly paid my own way to go to VA San Diego, I'd much rather abstain from the VA entirely than use VA Las Vegas

Yesterday, I watched "Where the Boys Are," (1960), on TCM, and the really-fine Chick in that was Dolores Hart, all you guys think that.  Born Dolores Hicks in Chicago on Oct. 20, 1938, Dolores, under the name, Dolores Hart, became a Movie Star, making 10 Movies from 1957 to 1963, and yes, kissing Elvis in "King Creole."  In 1963, Dolores broke-off her Engagement to Architect, Don Robinson (April 16, 1933 to Nov. 29, 2011) and entered the Benedictine Abbey of Regina Laudis in Bethlehem, Connecticut. Dolores never denied that she was still in love with Don, but that this was her Calling.  Don never married and visited Dolores every Christmas and Easter until his death in 2011 (I feel like crying).  The Reverend Mother Dolores Hart is "76" and has been Prioress of the Abbey and its 37 Nuns since 2001.

The Federal Prosecutors routinely put evidence of the Production and Distribution of Child Pornography before Grand Juries, leading to the Perpetrators being Indicted, which leads to their Trials and in Most Cases, Lengthy Prison Sentences.  If the Federal Prosecutors are Derelict in their Duties Regarding McKayla and That Guy (Ooh La La), that is, Not Placing Easily Obtained Photos of an UnderAge McKayla Posing in Erotic Positions for Pictures That These 2 Then Placed On the Internet---Then They Can't Prosecute Anyone For This Disgusting Crime.  Everyone in the United States is Liable To Federal Law, There Are No "Special People" Who Are Above The Law.  Federal Prosecutors, Perform Your Sworn Duty, The American People Are Watching

I've had a huge-number of Hits recently from France (?).  Finally, due to their usual Chaotic Situation, the French seem to realize that they need a Prussian to sort-things-out.  I will lead you Frogs if you pay me good.  I also went to the Rose Garden at Balboa Park, always go there, 130 different-types of Roses (See My Blog For Dec. 20, 2011), they're beautiful.  I gave blood, yesterday, yet again.  Most of you have never had a thought in your lives which didn't have to do with yourself, and most of you are afraid of a little-needle (?)  It gave me a good-feeling when the Phlebotomists handled my Pint as though it were Liquid-Gold, talking in hushed-tones of where it would be sent.  I said the Preemies are waiting for this, They said, thank you so much.

On December 29, 1977, Jesse Walter Bishop (Mar.1, 1933 to Oct. 22, 1979) was Robbing the Cashier's Cage at the El Morocco Casino in Las Vegas when he was interrupted by a Pit Boss who engaged him in a Gun Battle in which both were wounded, neither fatally.  During the Affray, David Ballard, "22," hearing the Gunfire unfortunately left his own Wedding Reception to see what was going on.  Bishop whirled and Coldly Gunned-Down Ballard.  In 1951, Jesse Bishop was an "18-year-old" Paratrooper in the American Army fighting in Korea, suffering a Severe Wound, Jesse was treated with heavy doses of Morphine for the Pain.  After the Injury Healed, Jesse was left with a Morphine Addiction which led to a Heroin Addiction.  Of the next 26 Years, 20 were spent in Prison and the Rest outside of the Law, mostly Armed Robberies to feed his habit.  You Dolts are so-fond of this War-Thing due to your Sick-Desire to see Others Suffer and Die.  Of the American Boys who go into the Military some are Killed, but Many More of Them Gain Shattered Lives and Share this Misery from their Misadventure.  Had Jesse Bishop never gone into the Army, his Life and the Lives of Those Affected by Him would have been Merrier.  Sentenced to Death, Bishop waived all Appeals saying ...They want me to snivel, I won't do it... On October 22, 1979, Jesse ate his requested meal of steak, sending his compliments to the cook (I took an interest in Jesse's Execution and a couple months later when I was in Carson City, I drove to the Maximum-Security Prison, which housed the Death Chamber, and stared at the cold-gray Walls).  Dressed in a Starched White-Shirt and Pressed Denims, Jesse Strode Purposefully to the Gas Chamber (which is a really excruciating way to die, like slow-strangulation) and was strapped-into the Chair.  When the Cyanide Pellets began to fall into the Acid, Jesse smiled and gave a thumbs-down, it took Jesse Bishop 9 minutes to die  The Warden Conceded ...He was a tough customer...

good talk go

Nothing is better than a Good Night's Sleep, you wake-up feeling great full of vim and vigor.  The TV Media often looks Tired and Haggard due to their Guilty Consciences over the Way they treat Ed.  The TV Media are Nothings, they have no special-skills, Anybody Can Talk, and they make all this money, while Ed has SuperHuman Powers and lives in Poverty. Obama just awarded the Medal of Honor to Alonzo Cushing who died at Gettysburg, this Campaigning for the Medal of Honor is very bad (See My Blogs for Jan. 4 and Jan.26, 2012).  It used to be the Ultimate Honor and is descending to what it was in the beginning, a nothing-medal.  Tuesday, I went to Balboa Park to the Sports Museum, the Hall of Champions, and also the San Diego Museum of Art, where they just began a wizard-exhibition of 76 Impressionist Paintings from the Renowned Albright-Knox Collection of Buffalo.  One is Jackson Pollock's "Convergence," a huge painting which he Drip-Painted, he walked around the canvas splashing the paint, he called it, "Chance and Control." It's out-of-sight.  Pollocks' original name was McCoy, he was taken-in by good people named Pollock, his talented wife, Lee Krasner was Jewish.  In the State Art Museum in Des Moines, Iowa, a city of only 200 thou, they have a lot of Pollock's and Krasner's and that's a great museum, well, the State Capital.  I know that you people enjoy eating food, Iowa isn't that big of a State but has a third of the Best Farmland in the Country.  I go to Balboa Park every year to these 2 and also the Timken Mus. of Art, one of the 10 best small art museums in the World.  But the past 2 years, my friend, Rembrandt's painting of St. Bartholomew was missing, of the maybe 13 or 14 Rembrandts in S. Ca., considered the Best  ...You Lost It In a Poker Game... They said that it was on Loan in London.  I spent 7 hours at these Museums, I'm Always Trying to Improve, You People should attempt Refinement.  I was watching "BlackBoard Jungle" this morning on the TCM.  This came out in 1955 and began with Bill Haley and His Comets playing "Rock Around The Clock," normally sedate 1955 Audiences would Leap Into the Aisle and Begin Jitter-Bugging   ...One, Two, Three O'Clock, Four O'Clock Rock ...Five, Six, Seven O'Clock, Eight O'Clock Rock ...Nine, Ten, Eleven O'Clock, Twelve O'Clock Rock ...We're Gonna Rock Around the Clock Tonight ...Put Your Glad-Rags On.....

You ThumbSuckers Are a Bad Influence On Ed.  It was pretty easily-proven that John Demjanjuk, whom the Israelis had sentenced to Death for being  "Ivan Grozny," "Ivan the Terrible," was not he (See My Blogs For Jan. 23 and May 23, 2009.  Do you think that NewsCasts spend excessive time on the Weather?  For the most part, you can just look out the window, does anybody in San Diego really care what the weather is like in Cleveland?  "Nightcrawler" is pretty-good and gives a look at an Occupation that we didn't know existed, ah, Free Enterprise.  "The Judge" isn't too good.  The one I'm waiting for is "Foxcatcher," which has gotten fab reviews, released on Nov. 14.  I don't care who comes-out as being Gay, I haven't done any of this yet and I'm not going-to.  If I had a Son or Daughter who was Gay there'd be an Impasse, I would only associate with them at a distance.  Think about these Bohemian Things that these Guys do with Each Other, ha, ha.  Wouldn't these Gay Women be sort-of limited in what they could do, ha?  I've certainly never heard of anybody like that in my extended-family.  My Grandfather had a Cartoon above his Work-Table in the Basement of 2 Transients Sitting On a Park-Bench With the One Saying to the Other  ... McKayla Maroney deserves no Pity.  Except for all the Pub I've given her after the 2012 Olympics she would have been long forgotten, and you see how she repayed me.  McKayla posted Nude Photos of Herself on the Internet when she was under "18."  Instead of Womaning-Up to what she had done, the Liar claimed that the Photos were Fake.  They're Not.  Her flea-bitten Family has Lawyered-Up (poorly).  McKayla Produced and Distributed Child Pornography, the Most Grievous of Felonies, the Same Crime that People are Routinely Sent to Prison to Serve Lengthy Sentences.  Due to My Pub, McKayla is Regarded as a Special-Person who is Above the Law.  The Federal Prosecutors have Firm Evidence that McKayla Produced and Distributed Child Pornography, and in Light of this being the Most Serious of Crimes, They have no Choice except to seek this Pornographer's Indictment.  Thus Far, the Prosecutors have been Dragging their Feet since McKayla is regarded as Special-Person.  The Federal Prosecutors are Bound by Law to Bring Legal Might against any Prosecutable Crime and Seek Punishment for the Culprit.  Child Pornography is the Most Heinous and Odious of Crimes.  We, the Public, need to bring Pressure against these Federal Prosecutors Who Regard McKayla Maroney as a Special-Person Deserving of Avoiding the Onus of the Law.  McKayla Needs to be Tried, Convicted and Sent Off to Prison for 10 Years.  There are No "Special People" Under the Law.

good talk

Yesterday, I was talking to a guy in Canada and I mentioned that I'd been in their Parliament Building in Ottawa and was in the Gallery of their Upper House, the Senate, as they debated something about airlines.  Robert said that guns are good and he keeps his handy.  The roads in San Diego have been terrible for 20 years, and they used to be a lot worse with gaping chuckholes even in La Jolla, the best part of town.  Las Vegas has become this way with just terrible roads.  And for both the reason is that the silly, thumbsucking Taxpayers allowed their Tax Money to be spent on Public Employees' Salaries and Pensions instead of Infrastructure.  I just had my blood analyzed and saw my doctor of the past 12 years, I do this every 4 months.  When I first saw her I hadn't had a physical in many years and my Triglycerides were over 1000, optimum is 200 and this past time they were 140.  All my other numbers were real good.  She is really smart, why I've kept her all these years, she's from a small town near W. Virginia and her Dad worked in a factory, she went to Ohio State on Scholarships, in her early 40's she's long-married to a Neurosurgeon.  I have light blue-eyes and an oilier-complexion than anybody else even at my age (I've seen maybe 4 others as oily in my life, it's a Northern German trait), from my recent Derm appointment I'm scheduled to have some Skin-Cancer Surgery in Feb., I just had some of this in June, an ongoing problem, pheww.  But the VA does all right by me, this is pampered-flesh.

The only way that McKayla is going to be in the 2016 Rio Olympics is if she buys a ticket.  She was among those whose Internet Accounts were hacked, but she under "18."  Our best hopes are that she avoids becoming a Felon as the Feds take this seriously.  Anybody who would pose nude and have the pictures placed on the Internet, anything in CyberSpace is there for Eternity, why would anyone think that their account would never be hacked?  The Exhibitionism displayed by all of these people is unhealthy.  She seems to be whizzing along in all other ways and I wish her well.  My Grandmother, ...It doesn't matter what they say about you in the Newspapers, just so long as they spell your name right...

I miss doing my Travel Blog, I do try to inculcate wholesome interests in you people, I've been trying for the past 15 years (you daydream about the glories of being bought-off), you make for a hard life for Ed.  Halloween is one of our best customs, I love Trick-or-Treaters and I give a good bar.  When I was "7" I asked Tom who was "17" what he was doing for Halloween and he said that he was going to a Party, and I felt sorry for Tom as I knew that I was going Trick-or-Treating.  Tom's family lived a few houses up the street and their business was a bar (the liquor business is lucractive, a popular nightclub in La Jolla is "Barfly") and Tom eventually killed a guy in there (had a gun behind the bar) who was threatening his life and came behind the bar.  Since I liked Tom I'll take Tom's side in this, hey, he was acquited.  A good Blog is Jan. 23, 2009 on the late John Demanjuk.  Dominica was the 118th Country that I've visited.

Jonas Edward Salk (Oct. 28, 1914 to June 23, 1995) was born 100 years ago today in New York City to little-educated Immigrant Jews with scuzzy jobs in the Garment District.  Those old-time Jews were plenty tough and Jonas was pushed in the right direction and entered City College of New York at "15."  While at the U. of Pittsburgh, Jonas developed the first effective Polio Vaccine which was introduced-widespread to the Public in 1957.  There had been few Fears like the Fear of Polio where many were killed and others crippled for life.  When asked who held the Patent ...There is no Patent...  A friend of mine back in Ohio, Gary Burnett, a High School Industrial Arts Teacher, had had a mild case of Polio as a child (usually gotten by children) and although he had a powerful upper-body, his legs were somewhat weak.  This didn't stop Gary from doing anything, he was in the Navy 5 years and in civilian life wore his dog-tags every day (yeah).  Well, I've gone this far, Gary said that during the early days of his teaching career a Kid was ...Jawing at Me As Usual... And that he swung at this Kid ...My Hand Only Opened At the Last Instant...  Brad teaches High School English and says that today you can't talk mean to them, a Lot of the Corporal Punishment Common in School was for the Better (Gary said that the other Kids praised his effort).  I haven't seen Gary since I left Ohio, he eventually retired to Florida, he was a good friend to me and I'm saying Hi.

On Sunday, May 5, 1918, 13 Men drowned at Ocean Beach, San Diego, due to unusual Rip-Currents so Violent that only 3 of the 13 bodies were ever recovered.  11 of these were Soldiers and Sailors stationed at Camp Kearny, amongst them was Henry P. Hanson who saved 5 lives before dying in the Attempt to save a 6th.  From this Tragedy was developed the San Diego Lifeguard Service.  Commemorating this Valor and Loss is a descriptive Plaque with a bronze-statue  The Lifeguard

I'm really sorry about what I said about McKayla Maroney a couple months ago, I was grating from lengthy maltreatment.  If some-one is mean to you, you shouldn't respond in (Un)Kind.  At first, when I asked McKayla to be my girlfriend, she was super-eager for it.  But soon after she tried to make me feel really bad.  All this has happened a few times before, when a real-good looking and young girl, would have the Hots for me but soon thereafter decide that what she really wants to do is torture me (?)  And this is always with a Sexual Motif, although this is the first time when She had a bit of a name and with the Lesbian Slant.  And then, when this really turns me off in all Instances the Girl wants me to Forgive Her and Indicates that she can't live without me.  But her Actions had made me Uninterested in Her (in McKayla's Case she indicated that she had had Sex with many Men and had also had Sex with other Women, both of these made me Look-Down On Her such that I didn't want her).  With All of these Girls, I remain a life-long Obsession, Somebody that they think about constantly for the rest of their Lives (why was I cursed with this Manly Beauty).       Now, I truly believe, in my heart of hearts, that McKayla should give-up the World and Enter the Convent, over Unrequited Love, that is so romantic, I'm feeling shivers running up and down my spine.  On the Other Hand, due to all the Pub that I've given her, Mick has made a lot of money and has a TV Role (I've never seen her on CW).  She has Beauty and Acting Ability, her Acting Career and what-all could just continue unabated.  It didn't work-out for Us (I was in Love with Her), but I want and expect her to have All the Best.

Girolama Savonarola (1452 to 1498) was a Dominican Friar and Religious Reformer who spoke against the Corruption of the Church and the People of Florence.  On Feb. 7, 1497 the Followers of Savonarola gathered and burned thousands of beautiful Artworks and Books in the Main Square of Florence, the "Bonfire of the Vanities."  A little over a year later on May 23, 1498 the Disillusioned Citizenry (what have we done) hung and burned Savonarola himself on the same spot in the Piazza della Signoria, this is Commemorated by a Circle, which I've seen.  Knowing when to Get Out of Town is one of the best things one can ever learn.

I've been Online for 15 minutes today and I have over 5 times as many hits as I did 15 minutes ago, Were I Sugar You People Would Eat Me Up.  La Paz to Santa Cruz, to Samaipata for the "Che Trail," (See My Blogs for June 22, June 24, and June 29, 2014).  In Samaipata seek the wonderful Danielle at "Jukumari Tours," Phone--7262-7202, They also have excellent Nature Tours and tours of the Jesuit Mission Circuit.  Go to the Plaza where there's a Room for the Taxi Drivers and ask the great and illustrious Vladimir to take you on the Che Trail (I paid 166 U.S).  Took a plane to La Paz then a plane to Santiago, Chile, my 3rd time there.  That morning there was a cold, driving, Downpour and there I was trying to find a Hotel with my clothes soaked, as I was walking around People were looking at me like Mad Dogs and Englishmen.  Helping me to find my Hotel was a middle-aged Lady, and she really went to a lot of trouble for me, during my Travels I often depend on the kindness of Strangers.  The previous 2 days on the Che Trail due to the roads being mostly dirt I had inhaled a lot of dirt and really felt sick, and was happy to relax for awhile in my nice, warm, Hotel Room.  The neoclassical Catedral Metropolitana, completed in 1800, is real impressive, although their Art Museums aren't.  The Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino whose Artifacts chronicle 4500 years of pre-Colombian Civilization is real good.  I thoroughly enjoyed my trip (I'm always very happy when I'm traveling, I must have Wanderlust) and I hope that you enjoyed reading of it.  Back to the States and We All Lived Happily Ever After

I'm up to 210, 5 lbs. over my target-weight of 205.  Ann Wilson of "Heart" once said that she can't diet, that food tastes so good that she has to eat it.  We know where Ann is coming from, and the U.S. is the Land of Cheap and Bountiful Food (we have to wonder how long this is going to last).  I'll try harder.  Congrats to Malala on her shared Nobel Peace Prize, few have deserved it more.  See my Blog on Honor Killings (Nov. 2, 2008, one of my first Blogs).  I've been in lots of Moslem Countries, I'd trust one of them as far as I could throw him.  After 9-11 there was practically no condemnation of the Mass Murders of Innocent People by the millions of Moslems in the U.S.  We all saw that girl on the Cover of Time, that's what they're like.

Haven't done my Blog in 6 days and already have lotsa Hits today, you Characters' thirst for me cannot be slaked.  Of Course, Martha Stewart was sent to Prison for Insider Trading, and there's been 10,000 Others more deserving of this over the past 20 years who weren't sent to Prison.  She was the most famous Person they could get their hands on, Marty is a real sweet Lady, you People should be ashamed. I just read my Blog on Sheriff Ralph Lamb (June 21, 2011), which was the Impetus for the TV Series,"Vegas," as well as my Blog on Elvis' 2nd Cousin, Sheriff Harold Ray Presley (July 10, 2011), I was in a Law and Order Mood.  Can anyone today do the "Billy Cannon Double" (See My Blog of Jan. 21, 2009)?  What about those Retired Toads I see on the TV Sports Shows?  On the History Channel they did JFK, the Dallas Police were dumb Crackers, they were parading Lee Harvey Oswald about where anybody could get at him, they had him at a Press Conference answering questions.  Of Jack Ruby (Rubenstein), one of the girls at his Strip Club said ...He had to be Somebody...  Obviously Oswald should have been a Federal Prisoner considering that he was accused of killing the President, and kept away from everybody except his Interrogators.  "The Joint" is made up of Chiropractic Franchises found throughout the U.S. Recently, I've been going to the one at 4065 Maryland Parkway, Suite C, here in Las Vegas, where I've benefited greatly from the excellent ministrations of Dr. Ray Watson and Dr. Andrea Watson.  The Plan I'm on gives me 4 Treatments a Month, no appointments, just walk-in, and the cost is a little less than $15 for each Treatment and you can go to any of their Offices throughout the U.S.  About everybody needs Chiropractic Treatments, I've had 800 in my Life, although not for a long-time, and if you're Impecunious or Just Cheap, you might want to take advantage of this.

Lately the AAA has had all these TV Ads costing millions of dollars, this is in response to my Blogs of April 22, 2014 and August 20, 2014, they could have avoided this expense had they not cheated me.  The AAA is good for maps and emergency road service, but I sure wouldn't buy anything from them.  I feel sorry for Clayton Kershaw, he pitched about the most innings in baseball and should have been pulled in both games after 6 innings.  Jack Morris is long-retired (175 complete games).  I saw Martha Stewart on TV recently, I've always thought her to be a nice lady, I thought she had a bum deal about going to prison for 5 months 10 years ago.  Every so often they send a high-profile person to prison for taxes to get the Public's attention.  I don't care if these Gays get legal rights, but they call it a "Union" or something.  Calling it "Marriage" is disgusting, also referring to the one as a "Husband" and the other a "Wife" is disgusting, that's what my Parents were to each other.  Marriage should be where there's a good chance of the 2 procreating within themselves instead of no chance at all.  Also Gays shouldn't be allowed to adopt, having 2 of the same sex as your "Parents" is abnormal.  They should close down that prison at Guantanamo (I've been to the Cuban town of G.), incarcerating these supposed Terrorists indefinitely and without trial obviously violates International Law.  I once spoke with a guy who was stationed there as a Navy Enlisted Man in the 70's and he said the place was like a Country Club, you could easily make reservations to go horse-back riding and any time you wanted you could go to the Rifle and Pistol Range and sharpen your Eye shooting-up as much of their Ammo as you liked.  McKayla Crushed Me Like A Beer Can, I need for you Comely Wahines to write me so that you can get me over her:  edpreusse65@yahoo.com or P.O. I alr, eady have a lotta hits today, you people's yearn for me is real moving.  Bus to Puno, Peru, which borders Lake Titicaca, which I toured 7 years ago, at 214 cubic miles in volume, the largest lake in S.A. and at 12,500 ft. above sea level, the highest large lake in the World, it's divided between Peru and Bolivia.  Lotsa cheap flops right around the Bus Station, mine cost 10 bucks for a really nice room with great cable TV.  It was cold as heck and throughout my trip I only wore a ban-lon.  Got a bottle of cold Inca Cola and sat down at one of these outdoor places and saw the chicken fried before me, with rice and noodles a plate cost 1.50 U.S., I got 2 plates.  A lady asked me aren't you cold, I said I'm tough (I do this to inspire you people).  Bus next morning to the Bolivian Border where I paid $135, grudgingly, for a 5-year Visa.  Bus to La Paz, at 12 to 12,500 ft. the highest capital in the World, a fire won't burn long enough to torch a building due to lack of oxygen, pop. 1.4 mil, been there thrice.  The airport, Los Altos is 13,000 ft.  The people are mostly Aymara Indians.  Went to the Ethnographic and Folklore Museum, to the Archeological Museum.  Cathedral from 1835 (La Paz from 1548) is impressive.  Previously I had a Private Guided Tour of the Presidential Palace, Evo Morales has been President since 2006.  I was shown the 2nd Floor Window that Lt. Col. Gualberto Villarroel, the President by Coup in 1943, was thrown through on July 21, 1946. He was then dragged across the street and hung from a lamp-post which is preserved to this day (weirdest thing I've even seen).  Next to it is the Legislative Palace and a real nice Black Girl, Alita, who went to College and was an Intern (only Black Person there), gave me a Private Tour.  I went into both Houses of Legislature and all over.  There was some commotion as a Delegate had dropped dead that morning, his body was laid on a table with flowers on it.  Alita had beautiful eyes, like an Egyptian Painting.  I stayed at Hotel Sajama, sajamahotel@hotmail.com, and had a real nice room for 38 U.S.  My last night I got a large pizza and headed back to my room but stopped at the desk and told the girl to take 2 slices, a quarter. She happily accepted, for some reason she lifted the slices but didn't pull them away from the box and I wanted to keep my pizza hot ...Hurry Up...  The Internet Current, what do we want for nuthin' ...

Many of the bought-off Elected and Media are found in Church every Sunday.  And many Thieves think of themselves as being Heroes.  Proof that the U.S. has gone totally-mad is the talk of Jeb Bush being the next President, another Bush would do in this Country (See My Cute Blog of April 11, 2014), ...Ehh, Islam is a Religion of Peace... Ehh  The Browns are 2-2, that's Tall Cotton for them, all games by 4 pts. or less.  A lot of times the best thing for your Team is that the current Players leave.  A long-time Clothing Store across from the Ohio State Campus on the main drag of the appropriately-named "High Street," was "Moe Glassman's."  You could buy real high-quality clothes for a really reasonable Price, I still have 2 "Pringle of Scotland" sweaters that I bought when I was "19."  Not Moe himself, but the guys who worked there were Gay, sharp guys who you'd think would have a better job than that.  Inside the Changing-Room were pin-ups of Young Guys.  A friend of mine said that while he was trying-on a pair of pants he looked-up and the Clerk waiting on him was outside Leering at him and quickly turned-away when Greg glanced out there.  Us Ohio State Guys didn't care about such trifles, we wanted those good clothes for cheap.  I saw Paul Revere at the Del Mar Fair a couple years ago, nowadays you can Rock until you die, RIP

Give this Ebola thing a rest, it's easily cured.  It's becoming widespread in Africa due to lack of sanitation, lotsa diseases are widespread in Africa.  When I was in Cuzco I met an English guy who was installing a Hostel System at the hotel where I was staying.  Hostel in this sense would be a moderately-price hotel, I had a nice-room, it's not like there were a bunch of people in it.  It was like this throughout the hotel. Mark, Mark Anthony Booty (he claimed that his ancestors were privateers in the Caribbean and brought back so much that they took this surname), installed hotel and hostel systems throughout Chile and mentioned that he might be interested in this or other hotel management work in the U.S.  Mark is "35," friendly and outgoing with a good appearance and enjoys working long hours, he was doing this in Cuzco.  Inquiries may be made to:   mark@hostelsystem.com

Arrived in Cuzco by bus, founded in 1100 by the Incas and taken by the Spanish in 1533, Cuzco is up 11000 feet.  I pop an iron pill every morning along with my other vits and mins, just doing that gives me 20% more stamina as I have iron-poor blood, doesn't matter as it's easily corrected.  At altitude like that I pop 2 iron pills for possible Soroche, Altitude Sickness, and I've never had a problem. Was here 7 years ago, then I went to the Machu Picchu from Cuzco, it's beautiful and surrealistic, everything is joined-together without mortar, the Lost City of the Incas was discovered by Hiram Bingham, future U.S. Senator from Vermont.  I would have gone there this time except MP has become more popular yet and one needs a Reservation to climb the Mountain, when I was there before you just showed up and they let 300 in a day. I didn't know that, I just wandered in and I was the next to the last they let in that day.  If I can't climb the Mountain I ain't goin'.  I went to the Plaza de Armas and nice Injun Gals solicit you for an Inca Massage with Hot Rocks, it's not prostitution.  I had 2 2-hour Massages and they were great, they charge $13 an hour but I paid $20, good pay for good work.  To the magnificent Cathedral built from the Inca Ruins.  On Loreto there's the oldest wall in Cuzco also seamlessly joined, on a parallel street in the wall is the 12-sided stone, part of the Palace of the 6th Inca.  To Qorikancha, formerly an Inca Temple, now Iglesia de Santa Domingo.  To the Museum of PreColombian Art, priceless artifacts, considered amongst the best in S.A..  At the Iglesia de San Blas, the Pulpit is considered to be the finest woodworking in the Americas, the skull of the guy who created it is on the top, looking at this gave me the creeps.  The big Museo Inca is real good and interesting.  Took a half-day tour, and to avoid robbery it's good to be in a large group, outside of Cuzco and saw Saqsaywaman.  In 1536, Manco Inca, the puppet ruler installed by the Spanish, rebelled and a great battle was fought with the thousands of Inca Dead attracting Condors, today there's Condors in Cuzco's Coat of Arms. To Q'enqo where the Incas sacrificed, to Tambomachay, a ceremonial bath and the ruins of Pukapukara.  On the way back they stop where you can buy an Alpaca Sweater, the best is pretty expensive.  The Alpacas are real cute but their steaks are delicious, I wish I had a bottle of Inca Cola.

Bashar Assad is an Ophthalmologist, it's too bad he didn't stick to this.  The entire TV Media is bought-off, I hate to say this, but it makes me nauseous to look at your bought-off faces, ha, ha, it gives me gas.  Am I the only one who thinks that these Athletes jumping to celebrate looks stupid, a waste of energy as well.  They had something on the Masons/Freemasons on the History Channel this morning, my maternal Grandfather and my Uncle were 32nd Degree Masons, the highest one can get ordinarily, Truman, MacArthur, J. Edgar Hoover were 33rd Degree Masons.  A Secret Society, I've seen them set up for their meetings, covering the windows with cloth.  I have no idea what goes on in there, but one of them told me it's just about being a Good Man.  They should have gassed all those Central American children who illegally invaded this Country, a good deterrent for potential future illegal aliens.  Some people are a lot better than others.

good talk

Recently I saw Mark Harmon, the long-time TV Actor, on CBS This Morning.  Mark's Uncle and my Father were Team-mates on the Akron Goodyear Wingfoots (See My Blogs for Dec. 19, 2008 and April 1, 2013) Basketball Team (as late as 1964 4 Wingfoots were on the Gold Medal Winning U.S. Olympic Basketball Team).  And Mark's Father was Tom Harmon who won the Heisman Trophy at Michigan, while Mark was the Star Quarterback for UCLA.  Athleticism went deeper in the Harmon Family than the Preusse Family, you wouldn't think he'd be my Sire as I've always been rather delicate.  My Dad was the only member of the Wingfoots to actually be from Akron, and all of the little Akronites were so proud that one of their own was that good.  No, the Postal Inspectors never found out who robbed that big U.S. Post Office across from UNLV (they can look in the mirror) with me losing 18 days of Mail they were "holding" for me (I pay $140 a year for my Box, they advertise their Boxes as "To Hold and Secure Your Mail").  I asked the U.S. Post Office for a partial-refund, all-considering their inept failure cost me heavily, I don't even know how heavily as a lot of the Mail you get you're not expecting, and they told me to Pound Salt.  The previous 2 Summers I received packages at this Post Office that were somewhat heat-damaged.  This past Summer I ordered the same product for about the same cost, $470, and specified that it be sent by UPS, and I received it in Perfect Condition.  The U.S. Post Office in its current incarnation ....  Go Big Brown, Go ...

I don't give a hoot about Derek Jeter.  This once-great Country is a Caricature of what it used to be, everybody is bought-off or hoping to be, everybody is for sale, especially those in power.  The U.S. is washed-up, it's all-over, stick a fork in it.  They're always saying ...The United States in 2045... it's not going to be around in 2045.  And it's all your faults.  Is there no Charles the Hammer (see my Blog of Feb. 1, 2009) to deliver the Western World from the slimy Ragheads?  My Male Readers are Men of Action, perhaps one of them.  Why would the silly NFL be weighing-in so heavily on Morality, what does that have to do with Football Playin'?  My Father, my Brothers, and I have never does this, but a certain type of woman enjoys being beaten-up, they can feel that Sin oozing out of them.  I've had lotsa Hits lately and two-thirds are from the Ukraine (?), if they want me to lead them against the Russians, I will, as long as it's from the Rear and they pay me a lot of money.  I had no idea that a DL could go 80 yards for TD, and JJ Watt also had a TD Reception.  He was the 1st to do this in a game since Mike Vrabel for the Pats.  Vrabel was a Sub for the Steelers and Belichick rejuvenated him, Vrabel and Antoine Winfield, both from Akron were selected by S.I. as 2 of the 22 best NFL Players from 2000 to 2010.  There's a lot of White Guys, some of them would have to be good, JJ's a Freak of Nature.  I did Ken Jennings' "Kennections" this week in "Parade" and my answer was "Card Terms" and their answer was "Poker Terms," I was close enough wasn't I, my answer was right wasn't it?

From Quito by bus to the Peruvian Border, through Customs and a bus to Lima.  I've been to Lima a few times, taxi to the Plaza de Armas and went inside the great Cathedral, it contains the remains of Francisco Pizarro who conquered Peru in 1533.  The Conquistadores were often Illegitimate, as was Pizarro, or other than lst born Sons, people who had nothing to lose.  The Presidential Palace is here and the Changing of the Guard is something to see, long ago they brought in Prussians to teach them how to GooseStep.  I walked to the Plaza San Martin, I walked all over carrying that heavy bag.  I went to the Inquisition Museum, I had been to all this and more previously.  Parts of Lima are very rough but you should be all right if you have your wits about ye.  I took a bus to Nazca, was there 7 years prior and had taken a plane to view the Nazca Lines, big lines of animals and other figures only visible from the air.  That cost 80 U.S. then and now, they're safer today as since then 8 people have died in plane crashes viewing the Lines.  What I wanted to see now was both the Nazca and the Pulpa Lines, this cost $150, I had wanted to do both 7 years ago but was stymied (they won't do it for one person and most people are Sissies and are satisfied with just seeing the Nazca Lines).  But this time there was a Frenchie (he was okay) who also wanted to see both and going up and seeing the Nazca and Pulpa Lines was great and exciting.  The Lines were drawn in the desert by the Paracas and Nazca Indians from 900 B.C. to 600 A.D., there's a Spider, there's a Monkey, all kinds of things, Maria Reiche, a German Mathematician came here in the 30's and devoted her life to Study of the Lines, she thought there was an Astronomical purpose to them.  I think these Indians had nothing better to do.  The Maria Reiche Museum and the Maria Reiche House (a big museum) are fascinating.  In the evening I went to the Hotel Nazca Lines where they have a Planetarium (also 7 years ago) and this German Professor was so informative and great during the l hour lecture and viewing, mostly outside.  You look through this telescope and see the ring around Saturn, the air is clear and the viewing is wonderful.  The Professor was wonderful.  Supposedly, you can't see the Big Dipper south of the Equator, then you see the Southern Cross-- I saw them both.

Billy Conn gave up his Light Heavyweight Championship to fight Joe Louis on June 18, 1941 in a Bout that lives on in Boxing Lore.  The light-hitting and light (175 lbs.) Billy was well ahead on points in the 13th Round (of 15) Against the much bigger and hard-hitting Brown Bomber in his quest to win the Heavyweight Championship of the World.  Then Billy foolishly went for the knockout and was knocked-out himself.  This Match had been postponed for 6 months.  Billy was married to the former Mary Louise Smith, the daughter of long-time Major League Baseball Player, Jimmy Smith.  I saw a picture of the 2 at the Jersey Shore and both were very good-looking young people.  But Jimmy Smith thought his daughter far too good for Billy and things became heated at Jimmy's Pittsburgh home after the Baptism of Billy's and Mary's lst born child and Jimmy's lst grandson, with Billy breaking his hand on his father-in-law's head (Irish).  Billy and Mary were married for 48 years.  In 1959, in Henderson, Nevada, Harry Reid went over to his girlfriend's, Landra Gould's, house and was met at the front door by her father who said ...Stay Away From My Daughter... Harry said, He Didn't Like Me Because I wasn't Jewish.  Then Landra's father shoved Harry, Harry beat up Landra's father, Landra leapt into Harry's car leaving her father lying in the dirt, the 2 eloped, Harry was "20," Landra was "19."  The Reids have been married for 55 years and have 5 children.  You don't easily interfere with young love.

I never go to a lawyer but have been told that they all say ...You have a good case...  Unfortunately, there's been no rush of Comely Females towards myself, perhaps you'd be interested in my friend, Scott, who recently broke-up with his girlfriend of 2 years.  Scott is "43" and an Oddsmaker who has had his picture and comments in "Sports Illustrated."  He's youthful-looking with nice blue eyes, good hair, a large-boned muscular build, anyone would consider him to be a good-looking guy.  He has a nice house and does well financially.  He's kind and easy-going with a friendly disposition, I have other friends but Scott is my only true-blue friend (they're hard to come by).  He probably tokes, drinks and gambles too much and could use the influence of a good woman.  15 years ago Scott was a Supervisor for SAV-ON Drugstores and was fired when an older woman complained vociferously that after going on and on about this problem she encountered at his Store, he had told her ...Tell It To The Pope...  Quell this rebellious streak, Tame This Tiger

I haven't had a cavity since the 90's, you should practice hygiene.  Scotland is lucky that Britain would have them, a miniscule almost non-entity.  I was just reading one of my favorite Blogs, Sept. 21, 2010, Oscar Romero was the Archbishop of San Salvador, El Salvador is the Capital.  The bus from Medellin to Quito, Ecuador was supposed to take 26 hours, it took 37, I got in at 2 A.M. and took a taxi to the nice Hotel Viena Internacional (correct spelling), 2 blocks from the main square of Plaza Grande.  Quito, 2.2 mil is the Capital of Ecuador, 15.2 mil and up 9400 ft.  Founded in 1534 by the Spanish it achieved Independence through Jose de Sucre and Simon Bolivar winning the Batttle of Pichincha in 1822.  I've been to Quito thrice, lotsa good stuff to see.  Near the Square is the impressive Cathedral, de Sucre is interred.  La Campania de Jesus is a beautiful Jesuit Church, Museo Franciscano is good, as Museo de la Cuidad. Basilica del Vota Nacional is big and interesting.  The Museo Nacional is real fine and features an extensive pre-Colombian gold collection. I had been to Mitad del Mundo twice, didn't go there this time.  22 km north of Quito, it's right on the Equator and I've had my picture taken with one leg in the Northern Hemisphere and one leg in the Southern Hemisphere.  What currency do they use in Ecuador, the Yankee Dollar.

I have a huge number of hits today and I haven't been Online in a week.  I'm a Powerful Man, I have Huge Influence and I should be getting paid for it.  You Unevolved, Primitive Bastards, Who the Hell are You?  Leeches.  Goodell couldn't be doing a better job of making the Owners and Players huge money over the 8 years and serving a highly Palatable Product to the Fans.  Out of a great number of Players somebody is always going to be misbehaving, you're going to fire Goodell over these trifles?  You're Merciless.  You're bad people.  I saw a good Boxing Card at the Hard Rock, my 75th Pro Card in Las Vegas, there were 9 fights with a DJ jamming away between fights and rounds.  The Co-Mains were Luis Ortiz of Cuba, 21-0 vs. Lateef Kayode of Nigeria, 20-0 (an "O" must go) for a Jive Heavyweight Title, with the hulking Ortiz knocking down Kayode and then TKO'ing him in the lst round.  Due to his power (King Kong is his nickname), Ortiz would stand a chance against anybody.  And Jesus Cuellar, 24-1, vs. Juan Manuel Lopez, 34-4, for a Jive Featherweight Title (126 lbs.) with a Vicious Knockout of Lopez halfway through the 2nd round, the Ref barely glanced before waving it off.  Lopez, a former Champion, had a previous bad Outing and should hang 'em up.  Except for that a night of Pugilistic Pleasure.  Sat. Nite I saw UNLV play Northern Illinois, who is often in the top 25, played in the Orange Bowl 2 years ago.  The Rebels really came back and came close and except for a bad break could have won, much closer than 48-34 would indicate.  I had my Teeth Cleaned and saw my Dentist, from Nigeria, a Benin Tribesman.  Jan Scraped all that congealed, caked-on Guck off my Teeth, a Scrapejob, and they feel a lot better.  Biannually, Jan is the best.  I talk boxing with my Dentist, all Nigerians like boxing.  Ever count your teeth?  I did once, I figured since I had had my 4 Wisdom Teeth pulled that I should have 28, yeah, I do (none of you have but now you will).  I had 3 pulled when I was "33" and there was so much more room in my mouth, the lst I had pulled in College at the Ohio State Dental School for $4 by a Student.  The thing came in funny and was driving me Nuts, I got a conscensus from the other Students that it should be pulled.  I saw Ray Pryor there, Ray was an All-American Center in Football in 1966 for Ohio State.  Ray, a Black Guy, after the Season received invitations to play in All-Star Games where he could showcase for the NFL, but Woody Hayes kept this from him as he thought Ray should go to Dental School instead.  Ray found this out and confronted Woody and a Player told me that the 2 were standing and shouting at each other seemingly almost coming to Blows.  The NFL paid peanuts back then, get your brains knocked out,  Woody had his Failings but no-one ever said that he didn't have his Boys' best interests at heart.  Anyway, there was something weird about my tooth and my Student was going around showing it to all his Friends  ...You can never tell about a 3rd Molar...You can never tell about a 3rd Molar... While he was doing this the Instructor came up behind him with a look of Outrage  ...The next time use a Thingamajig instead of showing how good you are with a Forceps....  I got my Wisdom Tooth pulled, Drama and Human Pathos all for $4

Pablo Escobar was killed on Dec. 2, 1993 (belated Happy Birthday), hey, you people wear me out, you're basically bad people (doesn't bother you).     paP?  I wrote "good talk" but it was somehow convoluted by the Current.

To Bogata and by Cama (luxury) bus, very comfy, to Medillin, to which I had never been.  A gritty, working city of 3 mil, arriving early in the morning I found a good flop then proceeded to see the sights.  To the Basilica de la Candaleria, completed in 1774, and the huge and impressive Catedral Metropolitana, 1931.  The Museo de Antioquia has 23 of Fernando Botero's sculpture's around it, like his paintings many of these feature himself.  Inside is an eclectic array of Art spanning Colombia's History as well as 92 of Botero's paintings and a small collection of foreign artists, it was pretty good.  Medillin is primarily known to the World as the center of Pablo Escobar's Medillin Cartel.  Pablo (Dec. 1, 1949 to Dec. 2, 1993) was the Ruler of a Cocaine Empire that controlled 80% of the world trade by it's height in the 1980's.  Beginning in 1975, Pablo began exporting tons of Cocaine primarily to the United States such that by the early 1990's he was worth 30 bil.  He controlled much of everything in Colombia through Plato o Plomo (Silver or Lead), thousands were killed but many more chose to be bribed and live.  The Storming of the Colombia Supreme Court on Nov. 6, 1985 by the M-19 Rebels in which 11 of the 25 Supreme Court Justices were killed was thought to be backed by Pablo.  On August 18, 1989, the uncorruptable Presidential Candidate, Luis Galan, was assassinated on Escobar's orders, one of many killings of high political and business figures in Colombia due to Pablo.  The huge amount of Cocaine smuggled into the U.S. by Escobar brought huge U.S. support for his Extradition to the U.S. which was what he feared.  A Compromise was reached in 1991 whereby Escobar would be imprisoned in palatial surroundings, but he continued to carry on his drug trade and ordered killings while in "prison."  The U.S.-backed Colombians then sought to send Pablo to a real prison, so Escobar escaped on July 22, 1992 and went on the run.  Hunted like a wild dog, Colombian Special Forces detected Pablo's whereabouts on Dec. 2, 1992 in Medellin (correct spelling), Pablo made a break for it and was shot through the legs and torso, with a fatal bullet fired behind his right ear from close range, as they weren't about to take him alive.  Much beloved today in Medellin due to his Cultivation of a Robin Hood Image and Charity to the Poor, there were 25,000 at Pablo's Funeral.  A Painting in the Antioquia by Botero is "Pablo Escobar Dying On A Rooftop."

Kathie Lee Gifford  ...We Didn't Have It So Bad, We Had Each Otha...  All 19 of the 9-ll Hijackers had had Legal Status in this Country (Snake Story).  My Younger Brother, Tom, was a Pledge of Phi Gamma Delta at Ohio State, and the Boys had a Fund-Raising Drive to benefit themselves.  This was Jack Nicklaus' Fraternity (Fijis) and the Boys told Jack how much money he should give them, what his proper share should be.  And Jack told the Boys ..........   .......... and that  he wouldn't be giving them anything.  Now, this was a really-strong connection and what they should have said was ...Brother Jack, can you help us out?  And what he gives, he gives.  I'm slightly embarrassed to say that I had a relative slightly involved in this, they were silly boys.  My Call-Out to the women of the world hasn't been answered.  Comely Women, Swoop-in and Sweep me off my feet, I'm sad and lonely, you're too shy, be a Woman about-it...  I'm going to a Fight Card today at the Hard Rock, I live next door, I don't even have to cross the street.   ...A Champion Is One Who Gets Up When He Can't See--Jack Dempsey

Back to Bogata and then over to the Portal del Norte bus station, a really nice and nice-looking girl was a big help to me in getting there, in my Travels I often depend on the Kindness of Strangers.  Bus to Zipaquira, which like Sesquile, is 35 mi. N. of Bogata, to see the "Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira."  Got in about l1 P.M. and found a nice flop, got their last room.  In the morning, Sunday, I went to the Salt Cathedral.  Not that well-known, the Salt Cathedral is considered to be a Jewel of Modern Architecture and even you Non-Catholics should see it before you Buy the Farm.  The Salt Cathedral Complex is Magnificent.  Cut from an active Halite (Rock Salt) Mine which has been mined since 500 B.C. beginning with the Muisca and which has 500 years of Salt left, the Salt Cathedral is 200 Meters Underground.  The Salt Cathedral was built from 1954 to 1995, in addition to the Cathedral there's the equally impressive Stations of the Cross Icons and the Rosary Chapel, where I went to Mass (In the Salt Cathedral there's only Mass on Christmas and Easter).  I was there all day.  You can also do the Mine Tour, you know me, I have to do everything. You put on a Miner's Helmet with head-lamp and you and the others go single-file in total darkness (head-lamp not allowed on yet) feeling the back of the one in front of you, and you're bent-over as the tunnel isn't high.  You come to an area and turn on your Lamp, there the Guide tells you about Salt Mining.  And also everyone is encouraged to swing a Pick and knock-out some Halite from the Walls.  I was easily the oldest-one, it was mostly men and women in their early 20's.  The Boys' Effort dislodging the Rock Salt was very Feeble but my short, compact, swing was knocking-off Chunks, I heard Murmurs.  I was the only one on the Tour from a Baseball-Playing Country, the Pick is like a Heavy Bat.  The Girls' Effort, and one was 6'1", was so poor that I wondered if they scratched the Wall, I'm sorry to say but if we were relying on them our Shakers would be empty.

My Truth-Telling has some of the News People Upset, say Ms. Joyce on L.V. CBS Morning News, I'm sorry, please return.  I do my Blog at the Flamingo Library, near Maryland, in L.V.  I get it for no-extra where I live but prefer to get out and about, this Library's physical attributes are good, big and brightly-lit.  But it's full of Transients who sometimes scream Obscenities and this is allowed.  The Librarians, Security Guards, and Transients sorta meld, into the Dregs.  It's commonly thought that the Librarians want as many Transients in here as possible so they can ask for more money.  I just read that S.I. and Simone Biles say that St. Sebastian is the Patron Saint of Athletes, yeah, I guess he is, Archers, too, strangely (shot full of arrows).  (See My Blog of July 28, 2009)  I graduated from the 8th Grade at St. Sebastian's in Akron, and, yes, on his Feastday of January 20, everybody in the School got a real big hard-candy arrow.  Simone is only 4'9" and it's easier to look good at that height.  In that Ray Rice Video she was coming at him.  Ray dragging her off the elevator unconscious is the funniest thing I've ever seen, I laugh every time.  He would have looked more gallant had he carried her off in his arms but he might have strained a muscle and used-up Football Energy.  Rice is really getting a bad deal, he didn't deserve to be cut, it wasn't that big of a thing.  I, for one, don't want to see Jennifer Lawrence naked.  She didn't deserve that Oscar for that so-so movie.  On Sept. 7, 1996 Tupac Shakur was gunned-down in his limo after leaving a Mike Tyson Fight and they have the outfit he wore on display at the Hard Rock minus any bullet holes (?), shot 4 times.  The Watch I'm wearing has also been in 118 Countries with me, a Pulsar I bought for $35 in a Supermarket 30 years ago, any countries that I was in prior to buying it I've been in since I bought it.  Say Banzai to this Noble Watch.

Still Mooching?  You bad people.  I went to see the Laguna de Guatavita, 35 mi. from Bogata.  The first bus broke down, I took a taxi back to the bus station.  The 2nd bus dropped me off 6 miles from Sesquile, from where I had hoped to get transpo to the lagoon.  I saw nothing going towards the town and stood on the side of the road for awhile.  Ah, but some guy had his car parked and was going towards it, I asked would you take me into town?  He said he would for 10,000 Pesos, 5 U.S., I said sounds good to me (I often travel by the seat of my pants, often not knowing where I'll be going next or how I'll get there).  Once in town I offered my new friend 60,000 Pesos to take me to the Laguna and wait for me, he said yes.  It was a rocky, dusty 12 miles.  Once there, I caught the last tour of the day, 13,200 Pesos, you have to take the tour, and they tell you the background in Spanish and then you hike way up and I could barely do it at their fast pace, and we reached the Laguna de Guatavita.  It's not all that big.  The new Muisca King would go out on the Sacred Lake along with the Shamans, Priests, and Nobles and they would apply sticky substance to him and then coat him with gold dust (El Dorado, the Gilded One) and he'd jump in the lake washing the gold dust off, then everybody would dump copious amounts of gold and jewels into the lake.  The Spanish, always eager for gold, tried to drain the lagoon in 1545 and lowered the water level somewhat and found much gold, but were unsuccessful in draining the Sacred Water.  There were after many attempts by various people to drain the lagoon, and all failed.  Finally, in 1900 any further attempts to drain the lake were forbidden, and no doubt there's much wealth on the bottom today.  My friend, the driver, went on the tour himself, he had done this in his youth but not since, and they didn't charge him.  All in all, the tour was 2 hours, there was an English-Speaking tour guide but I just stuck with the Spanish.  There was an American couple on the tour, I asked where you from? And the woman said, Florida, afraid that if I learned the City that maybe I could use the information against them (?).  My driver drove me back to Sesquile from where I got a bus back to Bogata, I gave him 70 thou for a grand total of 80 thou on the day, 40 U.S., and he seemed very happy, I liked the guy.  To see the Lagoon that was the source of the Legend of El Dorado made me happy beyond expression.

We got our Flag from my Uncle's Casket.  My mother's uncle, my great-uncle, was with the Americans in France during WW 1 and was mustard-gassed.  It didn't kill him immediately but it shortened his life and he died in his early 40's.  We're losing our American Culture, why, there's hardly any Americans who know how to do the "Rebel Yell" (a series of quick, high-pitched screams).  Eerily, I've heard the UNLV Cheerleaders do it perfectly.  I see my Primary Care Doctor every 4 months.  At the end of our meeting I always thank her cordially and she acknowledges cordially, then we part.  But last October, instead at the end, she ran out of the room.  I told this to Scott and he said, What did you do to her?  ...Nuthin'...  I don't get along with anybody all the time.  At my Health Club they have fine facilities, amongst them a steam bath.  And I get right next to where the steam is coming out and see how much and how long I can take.  You build up your stamina.  Scott is the only one I've seen, of the great many, who can take it as long as I can, to me, this means the "Steam-Off Challenge" where the 2 of us go until only one is left sitting (the loser crawling towards the door).

McKayla lusting for the Competition, ohh.  I worked with that girl.  Hopefully, McKayla will get Religion and Reform (Mary Magdalene), I did my part.  John Walker (Family of Spies) just died and his brother, Arthur, died in July, after 29 years in prison and having to die in prison.  They got John to cooperate by going easy on his son Michael (all of them in the U.S. Navy), Michael being locked-up at "22" and released at "37."  Jerry Whitworth never did cooperate and got 365 years (what, the judge thought a year for each day of one?)  John began his spying for the Russians in 1967 as he was willing to sell out his Country for Money (Judas), and this lasted until 1985 when John's ex-wife turned them all in.  As dumb, just sheer idiots, that the United States has been run by with these crumby Presidents and their Retardate Administrations, this would have gone on forever instead of 18 years.  The minds of the American People are weak, I'm sorry.  Maybe the Amer. People will realize this and also try to Reform and elect myself, Ed Preusse, as the next President, I couldn't do any worse only better.  I was practicing my Tango Steps this morning (See My Blogs for Jan. 25, 2009 and Sept. 26, 2009) and I'll return some day to the La Confiteria Ideal in Buenos Aires and show them I've gotten better (Tango is the most sensual and beautiful of the dances, to see wonderful dancers at a Tango Show in B.A. is something one should do in their lifetime).

good talk

The Indians are showing some life, think how moribund they'd be without Corey Kluber and Michael Brantley.  PR to Bogata, my 3rd time in Colombia, 48 mil pop., 440 thou sq. m., Capitol is Bogota, 7.4 mil.  The Spanish arrived in 1499 and began gradual Conquest, Independence from Spain in 1816, they lost Panama in 1903.  Bogota has always had the reputation of a dangerous city, just have your Wits about You and you should have no problem.  Not that this applies to you People, but if you're going to be a little girl about it you have to stay at home and drink milk, mother's milk.  Bogota is a real fun place, lots of interesting things.  I stayed at the "Hotel Lido," a nice flop right there in the Historic District near the Plaza de Bolivar, managed by a nice, young man who was in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years and served in Iraq.  The seat of Congress is the Capitolio Nacional, once torn up when Pablo Escobar was riding high.  A place I love, which I went to twice, is the Museo de Oro, the World's best gold museum.  Just fabulous treasures from the pre-Hispanic Cultures, the most famous is the "Muisca Raft," the only known representation of "El Dorado," the "Gilded One."  Went to their Art Museum, Museo Botero, which in addition to Colombia's Fernando Botero's many works, often depicting himself, there's an excellent Impressionist Collection. Went to the Police Museum, where you have a police escort escorting you through the various interesting exhibits including Pablo Escobar's gold-adorned Harley and a blood-stained roof-tile from Pablo's final moments.  To the Museo Arqueologico featuring pre-Hispanic exhibits.  Iglesia de Santa Clara is now a museum with paintings and statues of Saints.  Bogota is at 8660 ft. but I didn't feel the altitude and during the daytime in May it was nice and warm.
