good talk

The Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, ordered Operation Blue Star (June 1 to June 8, 1984), in which the Indian Army sought to destroy arms and explosives gathered by Sikh Militants in Punjabi, during this the Golden Temple of the Sikhs in Armitsar (been inside, real-nice, not that big), was heavily-damaged.  On Oct. 31, 1984, 2 of Indira Gandhi's Sikh bodyguards gunned-her-down, shot her maybe 50 times, they were eventually hung.  Her assassination led to riots in which 3,000 Sikhs were killed.  Violence continued on both sides, Hindu and Sikh, in May, 1985, Ed landed at the New Delhi Airport, in India for the first time, this was the weekend in which 30 people in Delhi and New Delhi, on trains and buses, had been killed by Sikhs leaving transistor-radios which were actually bombs, people would find the "transistor radios" and fiddle with the dials, the bombs would go-off (it's not funny).  I immediately took a bus from the airport to the New Delhi main train station, as I wanted to go to Agra to see the Taj Mahal (See My Blog for Aug. 30, 2010), and the bus-driver was nervous, and rightly-so.  Due to this wave of killings, 3 Sikh leaders were arrested, as with in the U.S., in India, the accused is also entitled to a lawyer, of the one Sikh leader, the Indian authorities said ...He's rich, he doesn't need a lawyer...  Within a day, he died under interrogation, having given-up nothing.  A little danger is exciting to Ed.  300 plus were killed at a mosque in the Sinai yesterday, close to where I was in April.  Prior to this, Egypt, the best country for a tourist in the World, was getting close to no tourists, due to Islamic Militants, killing a couple hundred people over the last few years, the ones killed then and now aren't tourists.  Tourists are so cowardly, especially the Americans, I feel so-sorry for the Egyptian People, as a main-source of their income is tourism, I don't know how most of the 90 mil survive.  I'm going to go-out and come-up with a new batch of Readers, the ones I have suck their thumbs and drink mothers' milk
