good talk

I would have liked it wrapped-up last night, was very disappointed, however, it's much-better if the World Series goes to 6 or 7 games, that is, that it's not a mismatch.  I'm very-sure that the Indians will trap those Cubs (hmmm, bear-grease), giving the Akron-Cleveland area their 2nd Championship in quick-succession, after a half-century of futility.  In S.I., they just-recounted the 1991 World Series, judged by ESPN to be the best-ever.  Hard-fought throughout, by the Braves and Twins, ending in Jack Morris' (who should be in the Hall), 10-inning, 1-0, 7th game.  Lonnie Smith led-off the Braves 8th inning with a single.  With 1 out, Terry Pendleton drove a double, and Smith would have scored had he not long-hesitated on 2nd base, as 2nd baseman, Chuck Knoblauch, faked a throw to shortstop Greg Gagne, as tho starting a double-play, when the ball was still bouncing in left field, juking Lonnie, who only made-it to 3rd base.  Baseball, when played correctly, makes football, with all this thudding-into each-other, and basketball, with all this leaping-about, seem crude by comparison.  I could live to be "200", and never-again see such craft-exercised
