good talk

Trump was a 6-1 underdog just before the election, in his first year and a half he gets to name 2 Supreme Court Justices, born lucky, Lucky Don.  The Ultra-Left has been harassing people while they're trying to eat, sending women rushing out of a restaurant in near-tears, they're coarse, at best.   A couple days recently, I was in Paulie Ayala's Gym, on W. Camp Bowie, in Fort Worth, Paulie having been "The Ring's"  "Fighter of the Year" for 1999.  Paulie (born April 22, 1970) competed from 118 to 126 lbs. from 1992 to 2004, in the 80's and 90's, Fort Worth was a hotbed of boxing, producing Paulie, Gene Hatcher, Donald Curry and Robin Blake, saw the last 2 fight.  Paulie was 38-3 with 12 KO's, not a heavy-puncher, he'd slice 'em up, he won a decision over Johnny Tapia for the WBA Bantamweight Title at Mandalay Bay on June 26, 1999, this was "The Ring's" "Fight of the Year." He twice fought Clarence "Bones" Adams, a White Guy from Kentucky, winning by decision both times, Paulie showed me a picture of him and Bones after the 2nd Fight, and asked me if I could tell who won, there was a trench .next to Bones' left-eye, that'd be plastic surgery ...Oh, you did, Paulie...   Paulie retired with all his faculties, he's well-spoken, relatively unmarked  (See My Blog for Sept. 17, 2013).  I haven't gotten around to T-Mobile.  Paulie's Gym is real-bright and very upbeat, unlike those grim old-time boxing gyms (Johnny Tocco had a gym in Las Vegas, he was asked who his favorite boxers were, he named some, he was asked who he liked the least  ...Oh, that's easy, Tex Cobb, if you were taping his hands he'd think nothing of belching or ..), a lot of white-collar people go there, and you can progress as little or as much as you want, if you just want to work the bags, that's good, but if you're capable you can do very hard-sparring, Paulie has some good prospects.  Women are allowed and evident.  Paulie told me that he started fighting when he was "4", he said  ...I loved to fight...   Paulie invested his earnings well, and was able to send his children, a boy and a girl, to expensive schools, neither competed in boxing, his son is an electrical-engineer.  I really enjoyed Paulie's Gym,  a friendly atmosphere, you can watch and ask questions to your heart's content,  Paulie is a very-fine man
