good talk

Jodi Arias is a nobody accused of killing a nobody anybody who'd be interested in her trial is weakminded a prevalent quality these days in the U.S.  Anybody who thought that "Argo" was a great movie that mad escape through the airport with Iranians jumping up and down as they watched the plane fly to safety never happened they went through uneventfully.  In "The Sound of Music" which I never saw they show the von Trapp family escaping Austria in 1938 by fleeing evil Nazis over the Alps while carrying their suitcases and musical instruments in reality they just got on a train and left.  My Blog is read in all the States and many countries, Russia, if some foreign entity wanted me to work for them in a capacity that my own government finds unworthy there'd be nothing wrong with it I'd do it right here I'd work within the confines of  U.S. Law but those are very wide parameters what could I do what couldn't I do, I'm soliciting employment and expect to be paid a lot (I've been suprised that the U.S. Government hasn't kidnapped and waterboarded me due to my attitude (glub)  My old friend, Chub Chionchio, I see has passed I've only spent a week total in Ohio over the past third of a century and found out he had died 2 years ago (said his last name in Italian meant Weeping) Chub was a heck of a good guy I'll have Masses said for him. Chub was on the Kent State Golf Team when they won the Mid-Am and was Captain as a Junior and Senior he never told us that.  His wife, Mary Jo, was Academic Adviser to St. V's Basketball Team when LeBron was there.  If you were from out of town and had an appointment the next day they used to let you stay in a room at the VA in San Diego and I met some guys and heard some stories.  There was Andy a big friendly guy who had been a Cop in St. Pete for 25 years I think Andy was of Irish descent.....He had the gun in his wife's mouth.....

good talk

Kelly Pavlik retired recently after his Supermiddleweight Fight for Feb. 23 with Andre Ward one of the best boxers in the world was cancelled due to Ward's shoulder operation.  Kelly "30" is from a traditionally Slovak area of Youngstown, Ohio and he grad from a vocational high school.  During the 50's and early 60's Youngstown was known as "Bombsville USA" due to over 50 incidents of people trying to start their cars only to have them blow up.  Earnie is from next door in Warren the guys from around there keep their socks up with thumbtacks.  Pavlik retired with a record of 40-2 with 34 knockouts.  The only time I bet on Kelly was when he fought Jermain Taylor and was a 2-l underdog and I won a lot, I had seen what he had done to Edison Miranda 4 months before also as a 2-l underdog I was pretty confident. an   Kelly has been in Rehab for alcoholism twice and gets in trouble while under the Influence always in Youngstown he struck a Mahoning County Deputy during the performance of his duties he was shoved through a window and had 60 stitches and a year ago Christmas a tree ran out in front of him while he was driving (a good lawyer got him out of a DUI) and these are only the ones I know about.  Bob Arum said that he had a lot of money invested in Pavlik and wanted a return taking him out to Ca. to live and train but Pavlik said he was devastated after Ward cancelled and said he was tired of the brutality that boxing rendered on him physically and that he had retained about all of the big money he had made and was now going back to Youngstown to open a gym probably a bad idea.  Pavlik's only 2 losses were in 2008 to Bernard Hopkins a clean liver who took him to school suprising everybody that Kelly lasted the 12 rounds as he absorbed a terrible beating and to Sergio Martinez who he was leading until an eyelid was sliced and he could only see out of one eye and he also finished that fight on his feet.  Hopefully things turn out well for the troubled talented guy with the big heart.
