In one of my favorite movies,"The Treasure of the Sierra Madre," Humprey Bogart says ...I'm young, I need dough, and lots of it...

good talk

I had a huge number of Pageviews since yesterday, I think it 's the old, banned-Readers doing this, and that their minds are still in the gutter.  McKayla doesn't have "mental illness," half the people in the world have anxiety and depression, and why not, how do we all wind-up, there's nobody walking around who's "150." Mc made a half-mil from the 2012's Team's Tour after the Olympics, but it cost a lot more than that to get her to her former elite status, her Old Man has a lot of Scratch, I wonder from what.  From my constantly talking about her as some wonderful person, she was signed by the same agency that handles Taylor Swift (ha, they took my word for it, they didn't bother to do a simple background which would have turned-up what she is really like), and Mc has made millions off Ed's back from this (this agency figures they have to continue-on with her, she even being put on "Topp's" cards this past Jan., even though there's a good-chance she'll eventually become a "Registered Sex Offender," ha, ha).  If McKayla wants to get-in good with Ed she can split that dough with me, as I am the source.  Hey, I'm not kiddin', I don't want those warped Old Readers gazing-upon my pristine Blog

good talk

McKayla says that she suffers from "anxiety and depression," this is entirely due to the way she treated Ed and the realization that I no doubt don't want her (she wouldn't be using bad language around me).  For her to be successful in the pursuit of Ed she'd have to come across as being sorta virginal, not somebody who's done the fleet, ha,

I landed at Cairo at 2 A.M., and arranged a stay at the "King Hotel," where I had stayed the first time I was in Egypt exactly 30 years before.  Slept 4 hours, getting up refreshed at 8, their breakfast buffet incl., just basic grub but ok.  Taxi to the "Egyptian Museum," easily the best museum in the world, my 5th time there.  Priceless treasures, too many to count, they showed a lot of different stuff from my last time in 2008.  During the violence of 2011 a human-chain was formed around the Museum, their effort succeeded.  Last I knew the museum was only air-conditioned where they have the Pharoahs' mummies, I've always been there in May.  I've probably seen about all of King Tut's Treasure by now, for sure I look at everything, you don't want to go with me as I'll be in a museum for even 7 hours, nothing escapes my perusal.  Silly tourists quickly pass by Jean Pierre Montet's Tanis discoveries of 1939-1940, which included 3 intact Pharoah's tombs, and are regarded as about as significant as Tutankhamen's.  Sure, I shelled-out a little extra to look at the 11 Pharoahs' mummies, during my times in Egypt I've seen about 35 all told.  This had stopped under Sadat, as Anwar had said it was wrong for the bodies of great kings to be gawked-at, and he was probably right.  One of them was Rameses 11, Rameses the Great, who lived to be "90," you know, Yul Bryner, the Pharoah in "Exodus" (that's not a god, that's a stone shaped like a bird).  I'm just an Average Joe but these eyes have seen fab things

On Tuesday I had skin-cancers removed from my face up at the VA Hospital in LaJolla, and the next 2 days I felt weak and sick, not due to any slicing, never for this, but the food I ate there.  This is the 2nd time in the past  2 years I've had food-poisoning from eating there.  In recent years there've been a lot of dogs brought into that hospital, Tues. I even saw a poodle with a "Service-Dog" blanket on him.  Service-Dogs are allowed in there, but why, they have people to do anything you need.  That hospital is real unsanitary and I'm not eating there any longer, I'll brown-bag it or whatever.  I finally cured my malaise by goin' to a real good 24-Hr Fitness steam bath, using it extensively.  I've written VA headquarters in D.C. twice since Bob McDonald has been Director and neither have I received a reply. Always in the 21 years I've patronized the VA Medical have I received a reply after writing VA headquarters except with McDonald.  I write a real letter, you know, with a stamp, to VA headquarters once or twice a year.  Not just for me but for the other Vets, most of whom can't write a good letter, if they ever could.  I was real optimistic when Bob McDonald was chosen to head-up the VA as he had been CEO of Proctor & Gamble, the recent VA budgets have been 150 bil, what they spend in a year, as he had succeeded so well in business it seemed he'd be perfect.  The Vets are real-interesting guys, for one thing, many have killed other men.  Most recently, I talking to a guy in his 80's who said that he'd been at the Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War, he was a real-kindly grandfatherly-type guy, it would have been hard to imagine him otherwise ...You'd get out of there if you could, but you can't, it's kill or be killed...

My father, Bob Preusse, used to be the best basketball playin' Akronite (my older brother, Bob, is at least the 4th in a row of his name, maybe he's the 20th), but LeBron certainly surpassed long ago.  LeBron's effort in the recent NBA Finals was amazing, he's a bastion of excellence.  Richard Lionheart didn't capture the Holy Land, sometimes things don't turn-out

Today is my 68th birthday, a lot of people my age are dead, my status is fortunate.  I'm in San Diego, driving my beautiful Avalon, and SD still has those horrible roads due to the taxpayers over the past 20 plus years allowing the evil public employees to spend their taxmoney on their own undeserved salaries and pensions.  How stupid can a group of people be?  The roads shake, rattle and roll our fine cars to pieces, it actually used to be a lot worse, with many huge, gaping chuckholes even in LaJolla, the best part of town.  But it's still bad.  ...Crummy roads, take me home, to the place I belong, San Diego, Ca., take me home, crummy roads...

I flew LV to Cairo via London, my 5th time in Egypt. A pop. of 90 mil but hardly any tourists, I was in a 4 Star on the Nile in Luxor, I stepped-out on the balcony gazing at the Nile, 35 U.S. In Sharm el-Sheikh I was in a 4 Star for 40 U.S. Egypt is perfectly-safe, you people are afraid of your own shadows, you are so cowardly, I have the worst Readers in the World.  It's time to disassociate, any of my previous Readers are no-longer allowed to read my Blog, although virtuous new Readers are welcome -Ed

good talk

You naughty girl.  Anyway, when I was in France I made a Pilgrimage to Lourdes, my 2nd, I was a Pilgrim.  In the 1840's or 50's, the Virgin Mary, appeared several times to Bernadette, who became a Nun, always in bad health, she died at "33."  Bernadette showed us that despite life's afflictions one can be happy if serving the Lord.  You can have all the water you want from the Springs where the Virgin appeared, over 60 official miracles of the Catholic Church have been attributed to the Virgin's intercession.  I went to Lourdes to gain humility, one can't possibly have his sins forgiven if humble not.  You girls will really like this, you men won't give a hoot, when I was in Edinburgh I went to "The Elephant House" near the King George IV bridge and sat where, who is it, J.K. Rowling?, whomever, wrote "Harry Potter."  I've seen a couple of the movies, I often see the "big movie" that's out even if I think I probably won't care for it.  I don't like Science Fiction generally speaking, although I did like Avatar.  The EH is a big shrine for girls, say, this Japanese girl I spoke with whose Mom bought her all the Harry Potter books, went there and spent 14 Sterling ($21) on breakfast

That first thing she did to make me feel bad, that 8 inches thing about a year ago, sealed McKayla's fate, and I wouldn't want her.  But I've sorta learned to enjoy fighting with McKayla, and maybe we can do this for the rest of our lives (it's fun).  So far as you other comely females, now that McKayla is out of the picture ...

Almost 7 years ago, CitiBank convinced me to take out a MasterCard with them.  A couple years later they wrote me that I had done so well with the initial card that they were going to replace that one with one called "Diamond Preferred."  CitiBank selected both cards for me, I just went along with what they said.  Each month I got a statement saying all these Bonus Points that I had accrued, and it's now several thousand.  I can't ever use my computer to do or check anything financial as one or more of you Readers would steal my identity, so I never, until recently, on someone else's computer, checked to see what fine prizes I could get for all these points, but CitiBank in their monthly statements indicated that they real good.  What I found out is that this MasterCard that CitiBank gave me is only good for a bunch of 20% discounts, that is, I can't get anything with it.  Nobody would want this, especially me.  I'm filing a Federal Complaint against CitiBank and MasterCard as they took advantage of a sweet, trusting, kindly, old man, by "giving" him something that's not worth a thing, and these sonsofwhores, CitiBank and MasterCard are going to find out what's going to happen to them, I might also file a lawsuit.  You can make a lot of money by selling something that's worth nothing.   Diamond Preferred

good talk

By the end of my trip I was experiencing a physical-breakdown.  I could hardly walk, my feet were almost coming-off my ankles, my face was falling-off my head.  I'm in Laughlin, it's so relaxing, and the dry-heat is so healing.  I've got a real-nice room with balcony for $25 a day, no lie.  On my trip I was anywhere and everywhere. Heh, when I was in Sharm el Sheikh, best-known for diving, there were women swimming while wearing a black burqa (only the eyes exposed).  Real good swimming is Eilat, much better than Tel Aviv.  While in Turkey I was approached by ISIS concerning employment ...Your money spends... I went to the Opera at Teatro alla Scala (you wouldn't like it).  I added 2 countries, Georgia and Armenia, for a total of 120 countries, a pretty-good and surprising haul, in most ways I'm just an Average Joe.  And I'm so sad and unhappy to hear about Tbilisi, where I was about a month ago.  There's people there I remember fondly.  It's all big hills, and of course there has to be a bottom, a very-good travel agency with fine people where I bought a couple of air tickets is near a bottom.  I just read that they shot a white tiger who had killed a man, for that and all the rest I am so upset.

I flew Las Vegas to London and back on "Virgin Atlantic," a crumby airline (British Airways is good).  I got back 2 P.M. on Tuesday, I got a room and was channel-surfing and started watching "DanceMoms" which I had never watched for more than a couple minutes.  The one lady, who's lost weight, introduced "Kendall," who seems to be "16," and they showed Kendall's video in which she's a military helicoptor pilot, of all things, it was real good.  Kendall sure is fine, tell her that she can be my girlfriend.

On June 15, when I hadn't even been in the country for 47 days, I received the 4th largest number of hits ever.  I want all my admirers to send Ed a hundred dollars so that he can be rich.

I went to Tbilisi, the Capital of Georgia, overland from Istanbul as I wanted to look at the Black Sea and such, you don't see much flying over something as you go from one sterile airport to another.  By the time I got there by bus I hadn't bathed in 3 days and had been using toilets with little or no toilet-paper, but to McKayla my scent would have been that of fine perfume. Tbilisi was established due to its Sulphur-Baths which are so wonderful and healing.  The prestige bathhouses are the "Royal" and the "No. 9," and I soon after arrival went to the No. 9.  It was all-men and to look at them they were athletes, well-developed guys.  There were maybe 30 guys and about all of them were just taking hot-sulphur-water-showers, only 2 guys were in the hot-sulphur-pool.  Well, I like the heat and always go whole-hog, so I went into the sulphur-pool, and I was the only one who totally immersed, that is, went in over his head.  I was doing this off and on for a couple hours and when I got out I was enervated, I had climbed way-up to their Castle and looked-around elsewhere and had to call that and the sulphur-bath a day.  I had only the energy to take a taxi back to my hotel, but it had been a wonderful and memorable experience, and the following day I woke-up absolutely refreshed and renewed.  Hopefully I didn't pollute-up the place.
