good talk

If you're ruthless enough there's nobody that you can't surmount.  During WW 11 the Japanese found the North Vietnamese much easier to handle than the soft Americans would 20 years later.  The Japs stopped the N. Vietnamese from growing food crops resulting in up to 2 mil of them starving to death, the survivors often resorted to cannibalism.  Also during WW 11, Joseph Stalin thought the Chechens to be untrustworthy so he deported most and killed the rest such that there were no Chechens living in Chechnya.  I was talking to a friend of Scott's, a girl from Moscow, recently and we were discussing the Chechens takeover of the Dubrovka Theatre in Moscow in Oct. 2002 and the Beslan (Russia) School Massacre in July, 2004 also by the Chechens both incidents resulting in the deaths of many Russians.   Perhaps nostalgia for Uncle Joe remains in Russia even today, I remarked to her that during both of these attacks many Chechens had been killed....Smiling pleasantly,  .....They should kill them all.....

On Jan. 8, 1997 a Brink's Armored Truck crashed on an Interstate Overpass next to the impoverished Black Ghetto of the Overtown section of Miami with much of its 3.7 mil spilling out on the Overpass.  Immediately hundreds of Overtown residents ran up on the Overpass and were seen grabbing as much money as they could and then descending back into their abodes before the Police got there.  For the next 2 days the Police went door to door threatening Overtown residents that if they had any of this money bad things would happen to them if they didn't turn it in.  The residents laughed at the Police slamming the door in their faces.  About $20 was turned in with over a half mil still missing, nothing bad ever happened to any of the Overtownians concerning this.

good talkit

Mikhail Kalashnikov died recently at "94," the inventor of the Kalashnikov Assault Rifle.  A lot of people say that his was only a replica of the NAZI P-43.  The Nazis came up with some astounding creations, it's said that the 1st Spaceship on the Moon was just a bigger V-2 Rocket of Werner von Braun.  The Prussian aristocrat looked like a socialite whereas our guys all looked like eggheads.  A notorious risk-taker, Hitler was going to have to play the hand he was dealt with insufficient natural resources, had he what the Americans had the Germans would have won.  An American Squadron Commander said.....For every plane I lost they sent me 4 for every plane the Germans lost there weren't any more.  One old bird on the History Channel said we didn't defeat them we outproduced them.  What do I look like.  I never felt that if I was a leg up on somebody that I should roll over on them.  I was very happy that Mikhail Khodorkovsky was released from prison after 10 years, he was a political prisoner.  He's no longer Russia's richest man in fact he's broke and I guess Vlad will settle for that.  Kelly Pavlik (see my Blog of March 11, 2013) was recently arrested for a likely DUI back in Ohio.  Kelly said that it was unfair for people to expect him not to get drunk as there's so many places that sell beer.  This childish outlook might stem from brain seizures that he had a few months ago, Kelly's love of beer (alcohol shrinks the brain) and constantly getting whacked while boxing makes it likely that Kelly, who left boxing a very wealthy man, won't be with us that much longer leaving his wife, Samantha, a widow and his 2 small children fatherless.  The TV Media offers solutions to anything that one can think of, maybe they should rush to Kelly with succor.  In Las Vegas on the ABC, CBS and NBC local affiliates, not Fox, during their newscasts off to the side you'll see----INJURED?  CALL ED BERNSTEIN ph. no.  Shilling for a personal injuries lawyer during their newscasts they have no shame---no one in the TV Media does.

good talk

Lately there's been a lot of talk in the TV Media about Ducks.  I've been watching Sports for a long time and the most dramatic I've seen was the 1500 meters, the last event, in the Decathlon in the 1960 Rome Olympics.  Rafer Johnson and C.K. Yang who were teammates at UCLA coached by Ducky Drake dueled throughout the 2 days of the Decathlon with all coming down down to the final event.  Rafer of the USA was ahead of C.K. of Taiwan by 67 points but C.K.'s best was 18.2 seconds better than Rafer's best in the 1500 and Rafer was going to have to be within 10 seconds of C.K.'s time if he was going to win the Decathlon Olympic Gold Medal so it could have gone either way.  Throughout the 1500 the 2 exhausted men gave everything they had with C.K. desperately trying to pull ahead of Rafer by enough to win but Rafer stuck close and only lost to C.K. by 6 yards and 1.2 seconds to win the Decathlon Gold.  I was 13 when I saw this on TV and have yet to see its equal.

good talk

I thought that I could cross to England from, say, Rotterdam, I couldn't so I had to buy tickets to catch 7 trains in 14 hours from Amsterdam, only 71 Euros, to Calais, France.  I said I don't know if I can catch all these, it was 14 hours with a 6 hour stopover in Antwerp, that is catch 7 trains in 8 hours.  Antwerp's Train Station is old and beautiful and they lock it up at 10 P.M. and I was going to have to wait outside until 4 A.M.  I was talking to 2 real nice Station Security Guys and they said to just put my stuff in a coin locker, they checked the schedule and told me what track to be on to get out in the morning.  The one guy had been to the States and was a fan of Professional Wrestling (I'm not).  So anyway, I'm standing outside in the cold and I'm worried because this was sort of the Red Light District and I didn't want to get robbed.  I approached a couple of young policemen in a patrol car and they said you definitely shouldn't be standing here overnight.  They said to walk a half mile to a Police Station.  I did but they wouldn't let me sit inside, I asked the cop if I could wait outside of it and he said, It's a Free Country.  Now, this was a real well-lit area across from a Park and there were all these Orthodox Jews who worked in the Diamond Business walking around in 2's and 3's at 2 and 3 A.M. like it was 2 or 3 P.M., they were all little guys with big thick hats, seeing this was real interesting.  Then I saw the Police arrive at the Station with a big, beefy guy in handcuffs who they had arrested, he was going where the one cop was leading him but there were a total of 8 cops in case the Suspect tried to make good on whatever it was that he was bellowing....Amongst them was one of the young policemen who I had spoken with outside of the Train Station, he saw me standing at a distance watching all this and he came running over....He Robs, He Steals....I said he hasn't been a good boy since he was quite young and my new friend quickly agreed.  I went back to the Station and caught my next train and the successive ones to Calais having really enjoyed my stopover in Antwerp and the company of those Belgian Guys.

good talk

I was watching a cartoon recently in which a dog has a bunch of dogs lined up and says We'll begin our morning Yoga class....Downward-facing dog....Now, Upward-facing dog....Father Edward Flanagan began Boys Town outside of Omaha in 1917, the Good Father was known for saying...There's No Such Thing As a Bad Boy....On the History Channel they showed Father Flanagan smiling at a recent arrival whose hometown Charleston, W.Va. newspaper had trumpeted his going to Boys Town where he would learn great things, the sweet-faced boy smiling back at Father Flanagan---a young Charles Manson who ran away 4 days later.....It looks like the MGM is going to put a Casino in Springfield, Mass. where Basketball was created and where I went to see the Basketball Hall of Fame 2 years ago, they shouldn't be allowed to put a trashy casino in this wholesome Shrine.  There was a big story on the greatness of welterweight boxer Adrien Broner in this past week's S.I.  Only "24" Adrien already has been locked-up for a year.  A man who enjoys fun, the 27-0 Adrien said "I could knock God out...."  We've gotta wonder what Adrien was abusing in order for him to make his claim.  Sat. Nite Adrien was badly beaten by Heavy 'Dog Marcos Maidana of Argentina who knocked the now 27-1 Adrien down twice.  Nothing is better than a good night's sleep, you wake up feeling great full of vim and vigor.

Sheldon Adelson is speaking againt the potential Evil that is On-Line Gambling.  Sheldon is an Army Vet as an Enlisted Man and as a patriotic American has risen up through the ranks in civilian life to become the 12th Wealthiest Person in the World with 34.4 bil.  He doesn't look at Life through Rose-Colored Glasses as do so many and sees the Danger of somebody in their underwear sitting in their bedroom and over 2 days gambling away their life savings, with unrestricted On-Line Gaming this would happen a lot, Sheldon is a wise and virtuous Jewboy. You've known me to go 10 thou on a Sportsbet but always in a Casino, betting on some computer sounds creepy I've never done it. Minimum Wage has never been intended to be an End-All Be-All, say somebody working the counter at McDonald's for 30 years.  Bill Gates calles "flipping hamburgers" to be "opportunity" for advancement.

good talk

Nelson Mandela was "95" why wouldn't he die.  Since Apartheid ended South Africa has one of the highest rates of violent crime in the World, there are 50 murders a day, also a high percentage of its population is infected with the AIDS Virus, they've had a lot to be proud of.  Despite this the American TV Media which consists of Boot-Lickers, Liars and Deceivers are all-excited about what Nelson's Rise brought about. The job description that the TV Media answered was "Are you willing to grovel on your belly and bark like a dog in order to keep your job?"  Congratulations to Coach Bobby Hauck and the UNLV Rebels on their 7-5 Season and selection to play in the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Day, who'dathunkit.  The Bucks were way overrated anyway ranked 2nd after giving up 41 points to a so-so Michigan team.  Nick Saban and Missouri's Gary Pinkel (Akron Garfield) were teammates at Kent State I saw them play, Ohio-Mother of Coaches.  I sent Ted Kaczynski, the former Unabomber a Christmas Card.  Doesn't it say in the New Testament that you should visit people in Prison, Tim Tebow goes to prisons and visits all on Death Row.  Dr. Kaczynski did a great service to this Country by bombing with impunity for 17 Years only ending with his own Brother, David, turning him in, the American People were able to see how brain-damaged their fabled FBI was in their efforts to catch him (see my Blogs on Ted Kaczynski).  Unfortunately the American People are also slow-witted and didn't insist on the FBI's Reform which would have foiled the Disaster that was 9-11 only a few years later.  The FBI was simple then and today, they're just dumb. You, my Readers, do something nice for somebody else for a change, can you imagine what Christmas must be like in Prison:  No. 04475-046, US Penitentiary-Max, P.O. Box 8500, Florence, Colorado, 8126-8500.  Nobody expects you to go to SuperMax in CO but you can send Ted a Card or something else that he might enjoy.

good talk

From Paris to Amsterdam by bus after arriving at 6 A.M. I took the train to the Central Station where they have a listing of hotels, once again due to packed conditions I was shut out and was lucky to once again stay at a Hostelling International location.  Not so luxurious as my 4-man room in Paris it was a 12-person room with both sexes and both nights somebody, I don't know who kept a window open near my bunk, those Europeans, it was cold as heck.  I announced if I ever get to London I'm getting my own room. The 2 big attractions are the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum at Museum Square.  The Rijksmuseum had been recently reopened after a 10-year renovation and features 8000 artworks of the Old Masters.  Perhaps the most famous is "The Night Watch" painted by Rembrandt Van Rijn (1606 to 1669) known for his exquisite balance of light and shade in 1642 at the height of the Dutch Golden Age.  It features a huge painting of the Home Guard in dynamic poses, the little girl is their mascot and even she has a pistol in her belt.  The Van Gogh (pronounced Van Hohhhhk) Museum shows 200 of his paintings including my favorite "The Potato Eaters" whose woebegone figures seem animated. Vincent Van Gogh (1853 to 1890) only painted for 10 years but turned out over 800 paintings, I've probably seen 400.  I've been to Arles, France where in 1888 the tortured genius cut-off part of his ear in an epileptic seizure leading to the townspeople unkindly dubbing him "Fou Rou," Crazy Redhead. The Stedelijk also at Museum Square is Contemporary Art from early 20th Century to the Present, it's good but not real good.  I went to the Hermitage Amsterdam which is the largest branch of the Hermitage in St. Pete and opened in 2009.  In the Amstelhof a classical building from 1681 it featured paintings and artifacts mostly associated with Peter the Great (1672 to 1725) the talented Russian Czar who you didn't lightly offend, he personally cut off heads and had his own son killed.  I was disappointed I didn't think it was all that extensive or interesting, it was okay. I had been to Amsterdam a few times but never to the Rembrandt House Museum.  The House is kept as it was when Rembrandt lived there from 1639 to 1656 when he went bankrupt and the House and all of his possessions were sold off.  My 3rd Day in Amsterdam I stored my bag at the Hostel and then left on a 5 P.M. train heading towards Calais.

good talk

Barry is trying to rule by Fiat as though he were Dictator and the Weak-Minded TV Media is allowing his Attempt (the TV Media's minds are little puddles).  During the Civil War George B. McClellan while Commander of the Army of the Potomac (later the Democratic Presidential Candidate in 1864) was heard to say that what this Country needed was a Dictator with himself as Dictator.  Lincoln wrote to McClellan who was doing poorly as Commander....Only Successful Generals can become Dictators....I'm still trying to find a nice big car so that I can donate my current ride.  Blackie Cat has no doubt been adopted by now but stop in anyway at "Jim's" in Rosemead as their food is great and they have other Stray Cats that they feed who would like a Good Home.  No Cat should be de-clawed if you think that they should you shouldn't be adopting one as they think the same of having their finger-nails pulled out as you would.  I don't see where my Pageviews have gone down, they've gone up---TV Media Ed does not want you!  NFL Teams don't want Tim Tebow and his "Baggage," but as so many teams are desperate for a Quarterback many of them should reconsider, I think Tim is great and I wish the Browns would hire him.  Happy Wishes to McKayla as she blows out 18 Candles on Monday.  If the TV Media were made up of normal people they would give me the Public Attention that my Ability warrants and I'd be making a lot of money, a young couple (well, her) starting out needs a lot especially us.  I've never been married and I aspire to the Best, in all ways McKayla is a beautiful girl.

good talk

When I said that I don't want the TV Media reading my Blog I wasn't kidding around.  I've always not gone where I'm not wanted but they don't see it that way as they're a Pack of Degenerates.  I just saw "Gone with the Wind" on AMC.  In 1917 a young fellow left Cadiz, Ohio with his family and moved to Ravenna, Ohio near Akron (I worked there).  Tiring of farming, he went to Akron where he worked as a clerk at Goodrich for about a year then left to pursue acting eventually winding-up in Hollywood still known as William "Clark" Gable.  In Margaret Mitchell's GWTW (my friend, Cary, was a friend of her only surviving grandchild, Mitchell Gibson)....I was never really in love with Ashley....Well, you did a good imitation....the characters were based on people that Margaret had known or knew of.  After the Civil War (see my Blog, one of my first, from November 3, 2008) in Georgia a young dentist named John and his 18-year old cousin Melanie were in love and wanted to be married, the Catholic Church said you're lst Cousins and definitely can't be married, broken-hearted Melanie entered the Convent where she lived to be a very old nun while John drifted out West where he became known as Doc Holliday a famous gunfighter.  Melanie and John stayed in touch until his death at "36," and it was he (Scarlett wanted to run off with Ashley he said they couldn't do what they wanted but what was morally right) that Margaret Mitchell, a relative of Melanie's, based Ashley Wilkes, a Man of Honor.

good talk.

When I'm in Greater L.A. I stay in a motel in Rosemead, there's a nearby library, a supermarket, a McDonald's and "Jim's Famous Burger" at 8749 Valley, get their Small French-Fry for 2.45 incl. tax and tell me if that isn't the most good french fries that you've had for such a price, if you're into Carbs you can make a meal just from that, I did.  I hadn't been in L.A. for a year and when I had eaten at Jim's there was a black cat who I fed.  A good-looking son of a gun with shiny black fur and big yellow eyes, I asked the people who worked at Jim's if he was still there and the lady said that the Black Cat, who is a stray, comes 3 times a day.  I looked out the window into their seated outside area and said, the Black Cat is here now (I saw him strolling across the Courtyard.  The people at Jim's feed the Black Cat as well as customers and I said he looked so good due to their food.  This time when I fed the Black Cat (yes, suprisingly he eats french fries) whereas last year he looked up-beat this year he looked Sad as he's tired of his hand to mouth existence and the dangers of being a stray cat (dogs and other perils).  I give $500 a year to the ASPCA but I've never had a pet as I'm a here today gone tomorrow type guy often moving about.  A Loner, the Black Cat, a male 2-years old or less, would do best with a married couple who own their own house who have no children where he would be the only pet.  Being neutered, getting his shots and occasional medical care, eating nutritious Cat Food (maybe an occasional french fry) and being indoors a lot sleeping on a couch or in a window sill I bet that the Black Cat would like that a lot.

good talk

I just saw "Carrie" starring Hit-Girl and thought it was real good, I never saw the original.  Carrie had good cause to be upset as her Prince Charming had been killed and she was covered with pig's blood.  That mother, when some people go to the Happy Hunting Ground (clean water, good hunting) they make the World a better place, addition by subtraction. Wednesday I pulled into the Chevron in Baker and I was driving up to the pump these 4 guys were looking at my car in a hawk-way that can't be imitated (thinking did this thing survive in the desert for 40 years).  I got out and by now these 4 were all looking the other way, I wasn't as interesting.  I asked, are you guys Russian?  Still with all 4 looking the other way one of them laughingly said "Yes," amused by my Hit.  Baker is the entrance to Death Valley and as described in a story in the R-J recently the only place in the world where you can go abruptly from such low Elevation to such high Elevation.  Therefore Companies from all over the World go to Death Valley to test their cars and that's what these Russian guys were up to.  There's a lot of secrecy in everybody's actions, almost Cloak and Dagger, as the various Companies don't want the competition to know what they're up to.  Now what would a Russian Company have to test worth sending 4 super-Engineers (wouldn't just send anybody) and all the trouble and expense?  The Eastern European car tradition isn't that impressive, remember the "Yugo" which was described in "Car and Driver"  .....So bad it shouldn't be called a car....  As Artie Johnson used to say...Very Interesting....I'm sure the other companies know there's Russians about, I wouldn't have mentioned this had I thought it would have done those boys harm.  I had an Ultra-Sound at the San Diego VA and I have blood seeping from my knees into the surrounding tissue, I'm getting X-Rays at the Las Vegas VA tomorrow.  This affects my balance but I don't thnk it's too serious.  Years ago in Las Vegas some drunk Old Lady came out of a bar in the middle of the afternoon when she got to the sidewalk she tripped with her head landing in the street just as an 18-Wheeler was going past running over her head.

good talk

I get the impression that the TV Media has been ignoring my Prohibition on their reading my Blog, these Freeloaders can whet their busybody curiosity in some other way.  I went to the San Diego Museum of Art, they're blocking off part of it for something else that has nothing to do with Art, this is to everybody's detriment.  I also went to the Timken Art Institute next door rated one of the 10 best small art museums in the world (for instance their Rembrandt of St. Bartholomew is considered the best of the maybe 17 Rembrandts in S. Cal.  Up to L. A. I saw the Clippers play Memphis, the next day I went to the Page Museum (at the La Brea Tarpits) which is so interesting all those poor animals that were caught in the tarpits and then went next door to the Los Angeles County Art Museum (Charles Bukowski's father as depicted in his autobiographical "Ham On Rye" was glad to get a job as a Guard at the LACAM during the Depression, previously he had been unemployed and not wanting the neighbors to know this he left the house in the morning drove off and returned in the early evening.  Mrs. Clinton's slogan that she was constantly saying "It Takes a Village to Raise a Child" reminds me of some African Thing or Welfare.  When I was a child if I needed something my Parents would get it for me or maybe my Grandparents would (bought me a piano) none of the Neighbors ever did anything for me that was worth more than $5 if that. Last Year, Mrs. Clinton, who I think is a nice lady, suddenly went unconscious while standing, fell and hit her head giving her a concussion.  I have yet to do anything like that, Mrs. Clinton is an unwell Old Lady.  You disagree?  Well, I'm right and you're wrong.

good talk

I went Madrid to Paris by bus, I like the bus, and the place was packed in early June.  I've been to Paris lots and I went to the hotel I had stayed at the previous 2 times, not only would it have cost twice as much it was full.  All the hotels were full so I went to the hostels and almost all of them were full.  Finally an "International Hostelling" location took pity on me and I stayed there 3 days in a room with 3 other guys, had a good breakfast buffet.  Whenever I travel every morning I eat as much as humanly possible to sustain myself for the hard day of sightseeing. I bypassed the things I always have done in Paris such as walking the about 2 miles from the Place de la Concorde (optimistically named the place of peace after the Reign of Terror this is where Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were beheaded, there's a circle noting the exact spot, how grisly) to the Arc de Triomphe.  I only went to 3 art museums and it was shoulder to shoulder.  Just to get in I had to wait in line for an hour minimum.  I went to the Louvre, begun in 1793 in a former Royal Palace with 8 mil yearly visitors it's the World's most-visited museum.  Its art and antiquities run the gamut of Prehistoric to the Present, there amongst many other treasures are the "Mona Lisa" and the "Venus de Milo."  It usually isn't shown this way but if you see the Venus in natural sunlight it seems as though it's alive.  I went to the Musee d'Orsay a former railway station which is itself in the "Art Nouveau," it holds the largest collection of Impressionist, Postimpressionist and Art Nouveau Paintings (1840's to 1914) in the World.  Then to the Musee de l'Orangerie which was originally the shelter for the orange grove of the Tuileries Palace and more of the same.  To be in Paris is always very exciting.

good talk

Recently the long-time Mayor of El Cajon, Ca., pop. 100 thou, near S.D. was forced to resign due to his comments concerning the new-immigrant Chaldeans (Iraqui Christians), Mark Lewis...It doesn't take the Chaldeans too long to find out where the freebies are at....He stated that Chaldean schoolchildren getting the free lunches were often being picked-up in luxury cars, he made other similar declarations.  There's 30 thou Chaldeans in El Cajon and 50 thou in S.D. County, since arriving in numbers in this country during the 80's the Chaldeans have acquired a reputation for drug-operations and violent crime.  In this downhill-sliding Country you can't tell the Truth.  Tuesday a Wells Fargo banker was sentenced to prison for embezzling 300 thou from his customers' accounts, that's a horrible bank, Citibank also.  I once entered a branch in La Jolla of the same bank that I went to in Pacific Beach and I was told that I was the first customer ever at this branch that it just opened that day.  I asked does that mean that I'm getting a free gift, they handed me a balloon.

good talk

Vlad and the TV Media have been ignoring my Prohibition on their reading my Illustrious Blog.  Their attitude is, We don't care what you say, Ed, we're going to do what We Want.  This is a very Childish Attitude their former Priggishness was preferable.  When I was in Cuba 3 years ago this past Spring I went to Baracoa a seaport on the southeast and while there I took their transportation to the closest good beach which was 10-12 miles away (took forever due to the Cubans' horrible roads).  It was a real nice beach and I enjoyed it thoroughly.  And there was a guy going around peddling stalks of bananas and I bought one.  It was a really clean beach but there were some chickens and pigs walking around, sort of spiced things up I thought.  Anyway, I laid my bananas on a tree stump and went to get some drinking water and when I got back I saw a Greedy Pig standing there eating my bananas.  Pigs are also going to have to change their Attitude if they're ever going to be known for anything other than avarice and gluttony.  Now you're being silly.  Our gratitude towards the 24 million surviving American Veterans.

good talk

I've been misspelling Names due to the TV Media's confusing me, they know no bounds.  I've been to Gibraltar near Algeciras, Spain, 2.6 sq. mi. popul. of 30 thou, it's been British in Perpetuity since 1713, a little dot which controls the Straits of Gibraltar, a Fortress during WW 11 and former major base of the British Royal Navy. A lot of its Economy is based on cut-rate cigarettes and liquor, I bought a bottle of good Scotch, cheap.  The Rock of Gibraltar rises a quarter-mile and is the only high ground around there.  There's a Lift, an elevator, that goes all the way to the top and I took this the View is breath-taking.  Once I descended I was talking to the Lift-Operator who was retired Royal Navy and I mentioned the Barbary Apes which are like big monkeys and are running and swinging about all over the place.  There was this English Family standing there waiting to use the Lift and 2 of them were these little blonde kids a boy and a girl and I said to this guy why don't we feed the Apes one of these kids and maybe they'll leave us alone (I always have to have my little joke), he replied.....They do like a bit of meat on occasion....And these 2 little kids were squirming about panicky thinking this might be one of them's Fate.  And their Father was glaring at me and I wasn't even the one who had made it worse, gee what a Grouch.

good talk

From Rome I flew across the Mediterranean to Barcelona and left on the bus that evening to Madrid.  About all the vast street-crime in Spain is done by Morrocans who the Pansy Spanish allow to do anything they want, Juan Carlos de Bourbon is also this.  Nowhere is it worse than in Barcelona, you really gotta be careful there was nothing I wanted to see anyway, been there.  Under Franco the Moroccans would have been killed outright or die in a labor camp, anytime you get a bunch of Moslems a high proportion are gonna be Scum.  I didn't often agree with my Old Man, he was in North Africa in WW II and he certainly thought this. Sometimes change is for the worse. Arriving in Madrid in the morning after snoozing good on the bus I took the subway to "Sol," when you get up to the street and look around you'll find oodles of good rooms for a cheap cost, I paid 30 Euros.  I've been to Madrid a few times and have seen everything what I wanted to see this time were the 3 great Art Museums, the Prado which features Goya, El Greco, Velazquez and the Like, the Reina Sofia which shows 20th Century Art such as Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso (they have "Gurnica" by Picasso which takes up an entire big wall and depicts the horror of the bombing of the Basque Town during the Spanish Civil War, it's terrifying) and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza which is inclusive of Medieval to the Present. I had a wonderful time in Madrid.

good talk

Whenever I turn on the TV I see the TV Media lurking full of Evil, this World isn't even remotely Worthy of myself and that's putting it mildly.  I was just watching a movie on TCM about Ernie Pyle, a Correspondent in WW II in both Europe and the Pacific beloved by the GI's for his folksy Column and Stories about their hard lives, he traveled with them and lived with them.  Killed by Japanese machine-gun fire on le Shima towards the end of the War I've been to his grave at Punchbowl on Oahu.  I'm gonna sit McKayla in my lap kissing, cuddling combing her hair telling her she's a good girl.

good talk

I now have no pageviews from Russia, what makes me think that Vlad is reading me nonetheless, he just wants me believe that I can't hurt his feelings and get away with it, jeez Louise.  I was also at the Capotoline Museums in Rome, on the smallest, the Capotoline, Hill it overlooks the Forum, from inside the fabulous museums you can look out the windows with an excellent view.  My forgetting to include was due to half my Blog being wiped-out by the unstable Internet Current at the La Jolla Library, the Effort that I extend for you people.  When I went to Akron Firestone the Asst. Principal was Calvin Tritt who had very little to do as there were few disciplinary problems, I don't what he did, but you'd see him walking around every day wearing a black suit and white socks, this caused the students to snicker.  Maybe this fulfilled some religious requirement.  "Bad Grandpa" had some good laughs but you women shouldn't see it.  I saw a comedy revue at the old "Marina" which is now part of the MGM and it was really Raw, the M.C.......My Mother doesn't know that I do this.....She thinks I'm a pimp in Florida.  I like to go to seedy places, the old Combat Zone in Boston, the old Snake Alley in Taipei, if it's trashy there's a good chance that I've been there, just to look around and see what's going on mind you.  Didn't St. Augustine say that you should know of both Good and Evil, that's why I'm doin' it.

good talk

At halftime of Notre Dame's game with Army in 1920 Knute Rockne was exhorting his team to come from behind when he noticed his star halfback, George Gipp, standing there smoking a cigarette....Uh, Gipp, do you have any interest in this game?....Oh, don't worry, Rock, we'll take it to 'em....Through Gipp's efforts (385 yards in Offense) Notre Dame beat Army 27-17----6 weeks later the fast-living Gipp was dead from pneumonia, do what you can while you can.

From Rimini I went to Rome by train, I've there lots was there at "9," I've possibly seen everything but never tire.  I went to the Colosseum, the Flavian Amphitheatre, begun by Vespasian in 70 A.D. and completed by his son Titus in 80 A.D. with improvements by his other son Domitian (81 to 96 A.D.), the Flavius family.  It seated 50 to 80 thou all depending, famous for gladiatorial contests they continued even after Christianity was declared by Edict to be the only Religion allowed within the Roman Empire in 380 A.D.  When the Pagan Visigoths took Rome in 410 A.D. gladiatorial contests in which men and sometimes women would fight to the death were eventually banned, the Visigoths claimed it was disgusting. A stone's throw away is the Forum and Arch of Titus, the Forum was originally Rome's marketplace and eventually had Temples such as the one dedicated to Vesta, the Vestal Virgins housed nearby, it's where the Senate often met and where Triumphs, parades of victorious generals. would end.  You walk through there everything is beaten down but you think of who walked there and what went on.  Nearby and 40 meters up is the Palatine Hill the center of Rome's 7 and where the Romans originally settled, by legend a cave there is where Romulus and Remus were suckled by the She-Wolf. Several of the Emperors had their palaces there, prominent ruins are those of Augustus, Tiberius and Domitian.  At a slight distance you can see where Caligula was done in.  I went to St. Peter's Basilica begun in 1506 and completed in 1626 it replaced the 4th Century Basilica, St. Peter is thought to be buried beneath the Altar, St. Peter is considered to be the first Pope and many Popes are interred within.  Amongst the great artworks is Michelangelo's Pieta at which I could just stare all day. After the Allies took Rome in WW 11 my Father among maybe 10 Catholic Officers had an Audience with Pope Pius X11, that must have been something.  I stayed at a nice place for 45 Euros which included a Killer Breakfast, Sightseeing is hard work and I told my friend who prepared this that his Breakfast was the highlight of my Day.  At Termini there's a Travel Agency and I bought an air ticket for Barcelona for only 180 U.S.

I was just at La Jolla Cove, that warm salt air, got a bunch of pregnant seals, too.  My Blog's readership in Russia has declined by 95% just recently but even l pageview can be multiplied to hundreds which is how it is, did mean Ed hurt Vlad's feelings?  I'm so sorry, pay me I want to make lots of money.  Vitali Klitschko is seeking the presidency of Ukraine saying that it's totally corrupt that everybody and everything is for Sale and that he would change this, I'm sure he would I'm sure he won't get the chance.  What about me in this Country?  I'm always telling the Truth but have made no Headway in a Corrupt and Sick Society in which everybody of any Influence is either bought-off or hoping to be (They go to Church and Pray this is their week to be bought-off).  Ed Snowden gave up a 200 thou a year job and Safety in order to tell the Truth and is now getting overdue Accolades in the U.S., it's about time.  I'll bet those Russian Girls like Ed, those Looks, that Stubble, that Intelligence, that Moral Rectitude.  You name your son Edward you might get something.  Amanda Knox might be wise never to leave the U.S.  The Italians butchered the Initial Investigation and are now Trying her in Absentia, this her 3rd Trial.  Due to the Swinish Italians' mental instability, they already imprisoned Amanda for 4 years, I could see them trying to kidnap her should she leave the U.S.  You see the condition of Italy's Economy that's how smart they are.  I'm through with delegating Responsibilty and am flying to Cleveland this Week to personally lead the Browns from my outside-linebacking Position.  It's like when a Recruit came up to Woody Hayes after witnessing a rare blowout of the Buckeyes....I know I can Help....

As I took an early morning bus to Munich from Berlin I just spent the night in the Bus Station dozing in a chair, then I'm already there and don't have to rush, don't cost nuthin'.  Then in Munich I did the same thing only in the Train Station, I've done this in Airports and everything else all over the World works out fine.  Arriving in Rimini a popular resort city on the Adriatic I checked into a nice hotel across from the Train Station.  From there the next morning I took a 45 minute bus ride up into the Appenine Mountains to my 115th Country the beautiful San Marino.  Founded in 301 A.D. by St. Marinus it has a population of 32,000 and claims to be the World's oldest Republic (perhaps like W. Virginia whose Motto is "Montani Semper Liberi," Mountaineers Stay Free).  One of the wealthiest countries in Europe it has no Nat'l Debt (Calvin Coolidge paid off a quarter of the U.S. Nat'l Debt during his 6 years as President by cutting taxes and reducing federal expenditures, how else would you do it).  Only 24 sq. mi. and totally surrounded by Italy, I was in their Historical Museum, their Government Palace in which there's a bust of Abraham Lincoln upon whom they bestowed Honorary Citizenship which Abe accepted, their Church of the Cappuccini, and their Cesta and Guaita Fortresses, to behold the beautiful Adriatic from the equally beautiful mountain scenery as well as all these attractions was very exciting. Both nights that I stayed at my hotel I set off the fire alarm around 4 A.M. first by using water with a little bleach to wash some clothes and then the next night (hey, I had the windows open this time and thought I'd be OK) by soaking my trusty feet which had carried me to 115 countries (Feats of Skill).  The Good Innkeepers were no doubt happy that I had chosen to stay there.

This country is full of Scum akin to Sodom and Gomorrah and will also come crashing down in the not distant future, many of my Readers are this.  Human Rights Activists are complaining that the European Roma, the Gypsies, are being persecuted I wouldn't think that to be possible.

The TV Media purposely distracted me, Jordan Stokes' (JumpMaster) phone number is 702-641-2222 (see my Blogs of Sept. 12, 2013 and October 15.  Erich Priebke just died in Rome where he had been under House Arrest.  A Captain in the Nazi SS (Schutzstaffel) in WW 11 he had been convicted of the killings of 335 Italians on March 24, 1944 in retribution for the Partisan Attack on a Column of German SS the day before resulting in 33 Deaths.  Now, those Partisans knew that the Germans would be doing something like 10-1 and should have thought twice before attacking that Column.  Priebke, he was a Prussian, fled to Argentina after the War, his undoing was his Interview with Sam Donaldson in 1994 (of all things).  All those Old-Time Nazis they dug up said that they did nothing wrong (Joseph Mengele told his son these were "unworthy people").  His actions didn't seem to bother Erich that much as he lived to be 100.  The Germans are interesting if nothing else.  My Father was in the American Army in WW 11 an Officer in Tank Ordinance serving in North Africa and Italy.  He was a Liason Officer between Mark Clark's Army and the British 8th and was often in Rome.  An only child he had about 10 lst Cousins in the German Army, they were all killed except one, Emil, whose Division was forced back into Germany at the end to try to defend the place and when the War ended they surrendered to the Americans (to surrender to the Russians was Death).  After the War my Grandmother sent Emil anything you could think of, her Sister's Son, even a soccer ball, those Europeans won't live long without that.

In Berlin I went to the Pergamon Museum which is in the former E. Berlin, I had been there a few times Germany's most visited Museum it's out of sight.  There's the reconstructed Pergamon Altar brought from Turkey, it's huge depicting the struggle between Giants and Gods.  There's the Procession Way and Throne Room of Nebuchadrezzar 11 from Babylon, the Ishtar Gate on which it says "...I, Nebuchadrezzar..." and there's the Islamic Artifacts.  Nobody loves Art and Antiquities more than me to be there was very exciting.

Every 2 weeks in Europe there's a National Holiday one reason why they don't amount to a Hill of Beans and I couldn't get a train ticket to go to Rimini, Italy but luckily I could get to Munich by bus.  Once there I could proceed by train.  On the train was a doctor's wife who was taking their 2 little kids to Italy to go camping while her husband worked and she told me that I have a bad name for Bavaria...What....She said that in Bavaria they call "Malintentioned Outsiders" "Preussen" that is Prussians (my surname is Preusse).  I had been to Bavaria lots and hadn't hear this, I asked is that because of the 30 Years War and she and a young guy said yes (in Europe things from hundreds of years ago are often as though it were 2 weeks).  I talk a lot and speak my mind and I was telling of Europe's Faults specifically their Work Ethic, later while passing the doctor's wife threw a very hard elbow into my ribs (now you're upset).  When they were getting off I told her I'm sorry if my opinion disturbed you.  I enjoyed my trip, there was a nice young German Guy who taught English and had been in Australia for a year and spoke with that accent, he was going to see his girlfriend in Rivoli he was a good conversationalist and good company.

Eventually somebody is going to marry a dog, perhaps one of the TV Media (...Do you, Rover...Woof...).  If the TV Media would rectify their lives and tell the truth for once it'd be a vast improvement.  Vulgar language in Periodicals has become prevalent even in S.I. you know that I can't stand this.  Congress just passed ObamaCare and now many of them are trying to repeal it, the German Naval Captain in "  The African Queen" .   ....What is this Madness....  Recently the U. of Washington accused Stanford of faking injuries to get timeouts, they said specifically that Asst. Randy Hart did this, he's a Lifer Big-Time Asst. Coach I knew Randy at Ohio State he's a real fine fella.  Dustin Hennessy is a political zealot who was listed as a Delegate to the last Republican Presidential Convention, I'd see him around in San Diego and I asked him and he said that he didn't go.  An exponent of Ron Paul Values, Dustin is in his early 40's and expends all his time and energy towards the National Acceptance of Paulian Ideals.  At last report Dustin was living in a Van, his is a Pure Spirit.  The illustrious Jordan Stokes (see my Blog from a few weeks back) is offering a Program to "Increase your Explosiveness and gain several inches on your Vertical Jump....Money Back Guarantee.....702-641-222.....I'm gonna do it when I get back from San Diego.

In my dealings with the American TV Media it seems like I've been wiping their chin forever, admittedly it's getting old.

I arrived in Berlin and stayed at an "A O Hostel" they're throughout Germany.  It cost 29 Euros and 6 for a buffet breakfast, hey my 47 day trip cost 7 thou I wanted to economize somewhere, besides I like to meet people. I was in a nice 2-room deal with one older guy, Ernd. I've been to Berlin many times but had never been to Potsdam, most closely associated with Frederick the Great.  I went to Sanssouci (Fr. for Carefree) Fred's original Palace, Rococo it was real good.  Fred is buried out back and I said some prayers for him.  Then I went to the Neues Palace which is Baroque and much more elaborate in order to show his power, in Frederick's words "to show off."  Frederick the Great was "Konige von Preussen," my surname is Preusse (means "Prussian" in German) so my being there was very apropos.

Frederick the Great (1712 to 1786) ruled Prussia from 1740 to 1786. In 1730 Fred fled his father's iron discipline fleeing to England but turned back, Frederick 1 had him thrown in jail then made him watch his friend's, Hans, head cut off.  After this Fred acted like a Hohenzollern, Prussian Royalty. Fred was at War much of the time (Silesian Wars (1740 to 1745) and the 7 Years War (1756 to 1763) during he expanded and held Prussia's territories. Regarded as one of the greatest Strategists and Organizationalists of all time Fred read everything he could about War.  He had his Troops practice loading and reloading such that they could shoot twice as many volleys as anyone else, there was constant lead flying from the Prussians.  He personally led his troops into Battle having 6 horses shot out from under him. Frederick 11 said, I was young, I had inherited a big army and I liked to see my name in the Newspapers. Fred was extremely bright, he spoke 6 languages, including English, he was very cultured and was a longtime friend of Voltaire, he composed 4 Symphonies amongst other musical works, he was a Freemason and he allowed religious tolerance, he described Hunting as cruel, he loved dogs--he was very capable and kind.  The American Navy was originally modelled on Britain's and its Army on the Prussian the most successful of the day.

Congratulations to McKayla for winning the Vault at the Gymnastics World Championships a year after breaking her tibia requiring 3 operations to fix it, she's very strong and will do well in all her endeavors.  See what the Athletics have done with the 4th lowest payroll in the Majors, "Moneyball" should have won the Oscar (...You're such a Loser, Dad...).  Brian Hoyer was sailing along until his season was ruined by the Bills' unethical play.  Had Bernie Kosar never heard of Football he would have been very successful due to Intelligence, Personality, Looks, Pro Football especially has to be made much safer, 'Luck to Bernie I always admired the Guy.

I sense a growing groundswell of support for the release of Ted Kaczynski, the former Unabomber.  I have to figure a way to get the TV Media out of my life, everybody watches TV and when I turn it on They're there Lurking.  Recently you People twice elected a President who doesn't believe in Evolution that is a Nut who thinks that the Universe was suddenly created 6000 years ago.  Uh, your Future...., you're dragging me down with you.  It was Oct. 3, 2003 that Roy Horn was mauled and almost killed by a White Tiger during his Show at the Mirage.  In the ambulance dying....Don't kill the Cat it's a good Cat....Even after what Montecore had done to him Roy loved his kitty.  It cost me $250 to get my back window replaced, there's many "Siegel Suites" locations in Las Vegas you'd be wise to avoid them.  The car is 40 years old and I'd have to order from out of State at huge expense so I called around extensively and only "Rapid Glass" came to my aid, it's in a small automotive complex on N. Eastern in Las Vegas, nobody else would have anything to do with me.  These 4 Mexican guys fashioned a new rear window from plexiglass taking a great deal of time and effort, they were very kind.  All the guys in this complex help each other and they can satisfy your every automotive need for a good price, ask for Martin (Mar-teen) at 702-762-0775.  Oh, the new window looks real good and is a lot tougher than before.....Treat Me Good I'll Treat You Better Treat Me Bad I'll Treat You Worse--Sonny Barger

McKayla was threatened that if she didn't cut her hair she'd suffer the consequences, well of course she won't, that poor sweet thing.  I was gonna go 2 thou on Alexander Povetkin in his fight with Vladimir Klitschko in Moscow and make a bundle if should he succeed but I don't see how he can.  A Russian plutocrat brought the fight to an arena where 35 thou Russians will be screaming for Alexander who turned "34" last mo., the biggest purses that either has been paid.  It's Povetkin's only chance at greatness, Sasha will fight like a lion, he'll die in the Ring, he may have to as Volodya is much better and in his 16th Title Defense knows what awaits when he enters his Lair.  On Sat. let's sit back and see.  I've been to Singapore thrice, the 2nd time the lady flight attendant announced over the intercom as the plane was descending---The Penalty for Drugdealing is Death!  It gave me that warm feeling. The Orchid Garden is very good, over 600 varieties of orchids, I love flowers.  The Reptile Park is real interesting and when I was there some guy stuck his head in a big crocodile's mouth (probably has a hard time getting life insurance).  Any crocodile can snap his jaws so fast you can't see them move, were I he I'd look for other employment. Their prison is Changi and I toured it, 2 weeks later they dropped a woman for heroin-trafficking--it's the Confucian belief that better one person lose his life than a thousand people have their lives ruined.  The Japanese had their prisoner-of-war camp at Changi in WW 11 and the late British author James Clavell was a p of w in it (Shogun, King Rat)....The Japanese tore the Soul from my Body....They had something on Ted Kaczynski on CNN he wrote...The FBI is a joke....He was able to bomb with impunity for 17 years because there was no one nearly as smart as him trying to capture the Unabomber.  Ted has been locked-up for a very long time he's learned his lesson and will bomb no more so let's release him.

From Kiev my next destination was Berlin, a long way, and I could only get there quickly was by train to Warsaw and then buy a ticket for B.  Kiev made me buy a sleeper ticket when I preferred to sit and there might be 3 others in there, this was an exorbitant $120 (travel in the East isn't like the West).  I was in with a young couple he was pretty good she wasn't they got off an hour before Warsaw.  After they left I pushed up the Upper Berth he was on so I could have more room to sit on my Lower Berth, thinking I had secured the very heavy U.B. against the wall I sat and all at once I was on my knees on the floor with blood pouring down my poor face (now you're crying) for I hadn't done such a good job of securing the U.B. (hey, not used to it). After a while I was able to stop the bleeding and cleaned up but as I was getting off in Warsaw it started again a young guy ran up to me....You have a cut on your forehead.....What do you think I am a fool I know I have a cut on my forehead....You have to go to the hospital....I told him that it would abate and  be all right, he was a kind person (maybe I should have gotten it stitched once home I was showing off my scar but am tired of it). I cleaned up in the Terminal where the Poles sold me a seat in 2nd Class for the short ride to Berlin for an extortionate $90 despite seeming eager to see me get out of town.  Didn't a similar thing happen to me when I was in Cuba 3 years ago?

My car's rear window was broken out by some Black Kids throwing rocks, also that of the Classic Cadillac next to it and it'll cost the guy 2 thou to replace it.  Previously I had thought the place I live at to be pretty good that is "Siegel Suites Cambridge" at 3825 Cambridge, Las Vegas 89119, tel. ph. 702-792-9191.  In the Las Vegas paper it's suggested regarding Lamar Odom's rant that maybe Twitter is the chicken soup for the tortured soul, Twitter is far too crude for me.  In football-rich greater San Diego Dillon Baxter is regarded as the best player coming out in the Internet Era rated higher than Reggie Bush.  I saw Dillon play as a freshman and as a senior at Mission Bay High, on a long touchdown run I saw him run up to 6 different guys make a slight feint and proceed further down the field.  He went to USC where they were awed by his talent but dismissed from the team for not going to class, the same thing happened at San Diego State and then at little Baker U. in Kansas.  Not "22" until next mo. will some lenient Football God give this Misguided Soul a break, I hope so....Sometimes things get complicated.....

good talk

On this Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 I will have outlived both my parents (see my Blog for Jan. 26, 2012) a very good accomplishment, living to be 66 years, 3 mos. and 3 days will be much harder to do in 20 years probably in 10.  The Marine Security at the Navy Yard had no ammo in their weapons this Country gets nuttier by the day. 12 people get whacked and the TV Media starts jumping up and down, so what 340 million didn't.  There's supposed to be Americans amongst the terrorists in Kenya, many of those I see walking about I don't regard as my fellow Americans.  My Blog is read widely in Russia, Vlad knows who I am so hire me, they're so cheap.  At the Nevada State Prison in Desert Springs they've had a Car Restoration Facility for decades in which they restore Classic Cars to their former state, there's not much they can't do, one they have now is a 1947 Rolls Royce.  Some of the guys are murderers but their Good Conduct has earned them the privilege of doing this, they receive 75% of Minimum Wage which can be spent say at the KFC Franchise at the Prison.  When I was on a Greyhound Trip I was waiting for a bus in Madison, Wisconsin and a Black Guy said that he had just gotten out of Prison that day after 7 years and was heading to his native Chicago where he would start a job that he had been trained for as a welder earning 50 thou a year, a young White Guy hearing this....You can get a better job getting out of Prison than you can getting out of the Army.....

good talk

I took the bus from Chisinau to Kiev, Ukraine the road was terrible and the ride very bumpy but I slept well, I like any kind of transpo to go anywhere any way is wonderful.  Ukraine has the largest area of any European country and a popul. of 45 mil, it declared Independence in 1991. Kiev founded in the 9th cent. A.D. is the Capitol and largest city with 2.8 mil.  I went to the fabulous Kyevo-Pecherska Lavra founded in 1051 A.D. I was there 7 hours and rightly so.  There's the Cathedral of the Dormition, the Great Lavra Belltower, several Churches several museums.  I went into the Caverns where they have 100 dead saints laying there in their caskets, I bought a long candle, lit it and followed everybody else inside where you proceed single file (the Orthodox Priests are real good I'm sure but in their robes, long hair and beard they have a wild appearance like Rasputin, one cautioned me that my candle was too close to the shirt of the guy in front of me, this fellow probably wouldn't like me burning his shirt).  The Scythian Goldwork from 6th cent. B.C. is so intricate and exquisite that this extensive collection was one of the best things I saw on my trip.  I went to St. Sophia's Cathedral-Museum Complex which was very good, modelled on the Hagia Sofia in Constantinople which was the largest building in the world St. Sophia's was completed in 11th cent. A.D. I went to the newly reconstructed St. Michael's Cathedral torn down by the Communists the rebuilding was finished in 2000.

Floyd says that he'll box for 2 more years that is retire at "38."  The Mexican boxer Ricardo Lopez had a record of 51-0-1 making 25 successive title defenses at 105 and 108 lbs.  Tall for that weight Ricardo was 5'6" with unusually heavy hands for a little guy knocking out three-quarters of his opponents and is one of only 9 boxers to retire undefeated.  Seeing his reflexes slowing Ricardo retired at "36" with his fortune and wits....I don't want to be the former great champion in a psychiatric hospital.....Floyd is wisely following in this vein.  Luck to Oscar de la Hoya.  When Oscar returned from the Barcelona Olympics in 1992 with his Gold Medal in Boxing he was walking around in East L.A. when 3 Cholos pulled up in a car and robbed him of his wallet at gunpoint.  Later that day Oscar returned to his home to find his wallet (he always carried a Food Stamp in it to remind him whence he had come) on his porch with his $200 intact.

The gym I go to is the "24-Hour Fitness" at Sahara and Eastern.  A couple days ago I saw a young Trainer there, Jordan, set up 2 stools one on top of the other then measuring the total at 48 inches (4 feet).  I thought, he's not going to try to jump up on that, then I saw Jordan warming-up off to the side (he can sky).  Then Jordan stood in front of the stools and leapt on top of the upper one that is he from a standstill he jumped on top of a structure 4 ft. off the ground.  Jordan is a White Guy, 6'2," who has good, lean muscles, these Bulky Muscles are way over-rated.  The Trainers at the Health Clubs that the TV Media go to eat cake, cookies, they carry-on.

Boxing is considered to be a "niche sport" for the past 2 years Floyd Mayweather has been the highest paid athlete in the World, that's not a niche-sport.  Nobody in MMA, UFC has been in the top 100, Boxing is much more deadly, in the former you can become the best in your division after 2 years, all that wild thrashing-about is far too crude for me to watch, no, no, never. Floyd, who I like, fights Saul "Canelo" (Cinnamon) Alvarez this Sat. Nite in a Superfight.  Canelo is a pasty redhead who is partially descended from the Irish who fought with the Mexicans in their War with the U.S.  The Irish fought fanatically as they were deserters from the American Army and expected a harsh fate if they were captured.  Indeed, many were hung I guess Canelo is descended from those who somehow escaped the Americans' wrath.  Zab Judah who has fought the best for the past 15 years (I saw him fight DeMarcus Corley) said of Floyd "....I'd go to hit him and he wouldn't be there...he was like a genie..." Floyd's rolling-shoulder defense has been around for the past hundred years, he's the only one who can do it.  I recently gave blood yet again this was my 34th time in Las Vegas, I've given 5 times in San Diego. They consider me to have Rare Blood, they cut my pint 6-ways and give it to Preemies, for sure the Preemies have never done anything for me and they never will, if you can do something for somebody you should just pitch in and do it.  You might not know what I'm talking about.

Congrats to Jerry Tarkanian who was just inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield.  My father, Bob Preusse, was on the Goodyear Wingfoots who are prominently featured in the Hall, as late as 1964 four Wingfoots were on the Gold-Medal Winning U.S. Olympic Basketball team, Larry Brown.  All-Time Brazilian Great, Oscar Schmidt, was also inducted, a 5-Time Olympian Oscar is considered one of the best Amateurs ever.  Oscar said that when he practiced his shooting he always had his wife rebound for him....That's why I married her..... This past Saturday Night I saw UNLV play the U. of Arizona in football, expected to make a game of it the Rebels lost at home 58-13.  Devante Davis of UNLV a big wide-receiver caught a 10 yard pass in traffic and outran everybody for a 69-yard touchdown to make it 17-6, Devante played real well.  They flubbed the extra point.  I enjoyed the evening going-out and watching all the people and all the football but from the 2nd Half on I saw a steady stream of angry-looking Men walking out, I wouldn't want to get in their way for the rest of the night.

I smoked for 16 years when I started it was pretty popular when I quit not so much, I'd be sitting at the bar and some guy would say you're blowing smoke in my face you fag.  That's a rough habit and I even smoked 2 packs of Camel Nonfilters a day for 3 years, back in Ohio they're called Coffin-nails I also smoked Bull Durham which was harsher yet. I quit Sept. 5, 1983 which was Labor Day, why then, I had 2 cigarettes left and I thought after I smoke these I'm not buying any more so it was and is.  You feel like you've had a weight removed, for a year you have a lot of congestion as your lungs are healing.  This is my 30th Anniversary!  Some of Miley's former employers at "Disney" had unkind words for her concerning her MTV Performance.  "Hannah Montana" was the biggest thing I've ever seen and "Disney" made 5 Tons of Money off Miley's Back.  Now that's gratitude.  That's the way most of you people are these days, if one of you touched me I'd feel nauseous.  On the radio just now I heard Sheryl Crow's "My Favorite Mistake" which I also heard in a shoppe in Hobart, Tasmania, a mellow tune.....When you go all I know is you're my favorite mistake.....

I took the overnight train from Bucharest to Chisinau the capitol of  Moldova, had my own sleeper compartment.  Moldova is 3 and a half mil and the poorest in Europe.  When my Grandmother immigrated to the U.S. by herself at "14" (must have been terrified) after her parents died in an epidemic there were a lot of Moldovan Jews on the boat fleeing the Pograms, she always liked Jews.  I stayed at the Hotel Cosmos my favorite flop on this trip, kind of worn it was real big with a friendly Staff and I had a nice big room for only 25 Euros, there was a big supermarket across the street.  There was a European Bodybuilder Championship in Chisinau and a lot stayed there, ha, ha.  There was a big parade and celebration for May 9 their Victory Day (over the Nazis), their Central Market is big and fun, their Natural History and Archeology Museum has a mass of coins from the Golden Horde, I enjoyed their History Museum.  Bucharest has a replica of the Arc de Triomphe which is two-thirds of  the actual Chisinau's is teeny.  A fun relaxed atmosphere lots of good-looking girls (I know what you fellows like).  I went to the Pushkin Museum where Alexander Pushkin spent 3 years in a cottage kept the same way as 1820-1823 when he lived there and composed the classic poems the "Captive of the Caucasus" and "The Fountain of Bakhchisaray" amongst other literary works.  Always considered among the greatest in Russian Literature Pushkin was one-eighth Negro, known to be very high strung he'd fight at the drop of a hat and was killed in a duel (1799-1837) at "37."  Always mourned by Russians for his untimely death.  To be at his former abode was very exciting.  I took a day-trip of several hours to the breakaway Republic of Transniestr their capitol of Tiraspol was 45 minutes away by buy.  Declaring Independence in 1990 backed by the Russians they won Independence from Moldova in a bloody uprising in 1992.  I count it as my 113th country, a half mil population it's a Communist enclave with a very tall statue of Lenin prominent, I went to their War Memorial and their History Museum.  I had never heard of it until I read the Great Book, T has their own Army, National Anthem and everything else, their national Distillery is pictured on the back of their 5-Ruble Bill (since 1897) it exports to 19 countries and I bought a bottle 80% the size of a pint for 2 U.S. and drank it that night while watching TV and philosophizing to myself it was mighty good.

I saw Tommy Morrison fight he had quite a record, Boxing is a Melodrama.  You'll be glad to learn that I had all that caked-on congealed Guck scraped off my teeth, a Scrapejob, and my teeth feel a lot better.  I have this done every 6 months and it's been 17 years since my last cavity, it hasn't always been this way.  Should the U.S. be constantly at war every day of every year?  This "Wounded Warrior" thing is made out to be wonderful and great.  When I was in San Diego in July I was in a drugstore and saw a young guy with a prosthetic for a leg, when I saw the Padres play the Giants they introduced a decorated Captain and he was like that.  How can some young guy having a stick for a leg be noble and fine which is the way it's made out to be.  This Nation is bloodthirsty it has a warped outlook on Life, I could see a hundred of you chasing some guy down the street screaming Kill Him, Kill Him.

In the previous Blog that should read "a star since "12" and you see how garbled it is due to the Internet Current, you try to write under such adversity I've Sweated Blood for you Readers.

Elizabeth Warren convincing Harvard that she was an Indian, she was listed as a "Minority Hire" (belly full want woman).  Those Ethiopians conning the Israelis into believing they were Jews and taking them in (eh, I'm a Jew take me in).  I've known Miley for a long time she's a real fine girl a Vsince "12" MTV that's show biz (she has a long tongue).  Johnny Manziel is a really great young man he has an excess of nervous energy which sometimes get him into difficulties, last summer the police were called to a disturbance outside a bar around Texas A&M and when they arrived Johnny was outside trading punches with some guy "46."  My ancestors go back to the mid-1600's in America and my own country isn't interested in my Abilities, my Blog is read widely in Russia mindful of the laws of the United States I'll work for anybody who'll pay me a lot of money (it's the American Way).  Since Vlad's first Presidency Russia has grown much more prosperous the sign of a good President are the benefits derived by his country.  The last time I was in Israel 5 years ago unlike previous visits the place was full of Russians indicative of a flourishing Middle Class.  Enjoying making his rival look foolish has found Vlad put in it to Barry quite often.

good talk

I'm gonna ask McKayla's father for her Hand maybe I'll catch him after he's eaten a good dinner and is feeling magnanimous.  Congrats to Max Scherzer, I'm always glad to see a Kraut do well they've been so beleaguered over the past century.  Bernard Hopkins is still one of the best boxers in the world at "48."  B-Hop says that he hasn't had cake or a cookie for the past 20 years which coincidentally is true of many of my Readers.  Bernard has floated the idea of running for elective office in his native Philadelphia if they would overlook his youthful indiscretions of Armed Robbery and 5 years in Prison.  Everyone makes mistakes in their youth B-Hop has always acted as his own Manager, he's smart and known to be frugal and sharp with a dollar.  I was in Philly last year for Bernard not to be a great improvement would be very unlikely.

The "Irish Travellers" are a nomadic group who have roamed about for centuries.  They usually work semi-skilled labor jobs such as roofers, bricklayers with 10 thou in Ireland 40 thou in Britain and even 10 thou in the U.S.  Devout Catholics, the girls are usually chaste at marriage when they marry into an insular gene pool which DNA Testing has shown to be the same as l000 years ago.  They look the same as other Irish.  The "Travellers" have a long tradition of fighting usually bare-knuckle but also boxing.  There's big ships which regularly ferry people between Britain and Ireland and when I was in Europe recently a guy told me that there were Travellers on the ferryboat that he was on and they were having their little boys square off and fight each other right there on the boat (We should be safe if we stay on their good side).  Tyson Fury (Luke Tyson Fury) is a Traveller whose record as a heavyweight boxer is 21-0, this past April 20 he fought the good Steve Cunningham at Madison Square Garden getting off the canvas in the 2nd Round to score a KO in the 7th.  The 8th ranked Fury is to fight the 3rd ranked David Haye on Sept. 28 (HBO).  Fury is 6 ft. 9 in. and 250-260 lbs. and while probably not all that skilled his size and strength and will to win makes him a factor against anyone, I think when he meets Haye it'll be Luke Fury's night.

In this country anybody of any influence is either bought off or hoping to be, it's like the old Al Capp Cartoons of a judge sitting in the Courtroom with his arm extended out the window while a Moneybag is being placed in his hand.  Their Smiling Face belie an Evil Mind.

good talk

The State Dept.'s and the TV Media's constant warbling about this 1.3 billion dollars a year that Egypt receives in Foreign Aid from the U.S. is stupid, all that comes out to is $16 a year per person what are they gonna do retire on this?  How would the prospect or getting or not getting this effect someone's behavior it would be hard to get somebody to do much of anything for $16.  You'd think it would be the TV Media's obligation to interview someone whom they knew possessed Great Telepathic Powers, some of them have seen me walking down the street my whereabouts are no secret.  The TV Media is manipulated by an Evil Force and this not their fault as they're only Pawns of an increasingly powerful Evil which has enveloped their weak minds.

good talk

I went to my friends at "Tropicana Cinemas" Friday afternoon where I saw the latest "Superman" for the 2nd time, I had stuff to do I left two-thirds of the way through.  "Tropicana Cinemas" on Trop and Pecos has raised their price from a buck fifty to two dollars (these high prices today) although it's still $l on Tuesdays (make their money from concessions).  I have superhuman powers and nobody is beating a path to see me.

good talk

I've been to Bucharest and Romania thrice, my father's mother, my grandmother for whom I just had Masses said, was an ethnic German.  Maria Theresa settled a lot of Catholic Germans there in the 1750's after the Fall of Communism all their descendants went to Germany.  I enjoyed their art  and their archeological museum (have seen a document signed by Vlad Tepes Dracula).  I've toured their Palace of Parliament the 2nd largest building in the world after the Pentagon.  Bucharest is a real nice clean city, cheap.  I took a picture of the balcony where Nicolae Ceausescu gave his last speech.  Romania's Communist Leader from 1965 to 1989 Nicolae ruled with an iron hand. Something of a maverick when the other Communist countries boycotted our 1984 L.A. Olympics the Romanians came.  In 1989 during the Fall of Communism throughout Eastern Europe Ceausescu resisted and fired on those demanding his ouster.  Also Romania was quite poor due to Nicolae's disastrous economic policies you don't lightly fool with people's pocketbooks.  Arrested, Nicolae and his wife Elena were given a 2-hour trial after which guys competed by drawing straws as to whom would make up the firing squad.  Unmoved by Elena's saying I've been like a mother to you the Ceausescus were stood against wall where Nicolae was shot while Elena was gunned down running around like a chicken in a barnyard.  Romania was the only Communist country where its former Rulers were executed and Romanians have a guilt complex to this day......Knowing when to get out of town.....

good talk

Billy Cannon suffered a stroke this past Feb. and we wish Dr. Cannon at "76" a full recovery.  When Billy Cannon was a college kid at LSU at 205 lbs. he could run a 100 yard dash in 9.4 seconds on a crude dirt and cinder track as well as put the 16 lb. shot 54 feet I'm wondering if any man today can do the Billy Cannon Double.  Egypt is in a permanent state of total chaos I've been in 115 countries and easily the best for a tourist would be Egypt.  I've been to Egypt 4 times and have been all over and it's fabulous.  I doubt if Egypt is ever stable enough again for me to visit, a real pity, much worse would be if any of Egypt's antiquities were harmed, say the Pyramids at Giza just outside of Cairo, the beyond superb Egyptian Museum in Cairo easily the best museum in the world, the Valley of the Kings at Luxor and much more.  These must be safeguarded.  I just happened to turn to the U.S. Gymnastics Championship as McKayla Maroney finished on the uneven bars and when she felt my gaze she puffed her cheeks and looked angry.  I hadn't seen McKayla in a year since the Olympics when I just happened to turn on the TV,  I didn't know the schedule, as she was about to do the vault and I could tell that my gaze made her nervous so I turned away only turning back after she had finished.  I had inadvertantly broke her concentration japping her out of her rightful Gold Medal in the vault as she was the best ever.  Everybody was mad at me, well,  I have 2 broad feet and can stand a lot.  I want McKayla for my girlfriend she's real pretty and I like her hair, I'm appointing the TV Media, making rare good use of themselves, as my emissary telling McKayla I'll be waiting for her approving reply.

good talk

The TV Media is a continuing bad influence they often put me in a bad mood and rightly so.  Anybody who'd sneeze in their hands I just sneeze on the floor.  Recently I was at the bank and I pointed out to the teller that she had sneezed on her arm she went in the back and washed it off.  Caroline Kennedy being appointed ambassador to Japan shows that the mass thinking in this country might eventually approach that of apes.  She follows a long line of distinguished men and Steve Chapman in his column says that his efforts to find out if Caroline has even been to Japan (common, me thrice) have gone unanswered.  Things are quite bad.  When I was in Malta I saw an office of "Air Libya" so I went inside and said to the 2 well-dressed men and one woman...I want to buy a ticket to Benghazi....  I was told that I would first have to go to Tripoli, I think they knew that I was kidding, eh maybe not somebody must be going there.  I had Masses said for the repose of the soul of Chub Chionchio a friend of mine back in Ohio.  I found out a few months back that Chub had passed away a couple years ago I've had little to do with Ohio since I left so I only recently learned this.  Chub's wife, Mary Jo, was the Academic Advisor to St. V's Basketball Team when LeBron was there so LeBron quite possibly knew Chub.  Chub was a really good guy who would stick up for you when you weren't around and that goes far with me Rest in Peace, Buddy.

good talk

Billy Cannon won the Heisman Trophy in 1959 while at LSU.  Billy didn't come from much, his father was a one-armed guy who LSU gave a job as a janitor so they could get his son on their football team.  An excellent student Billy became an orthodontist in Baton Rouge after an illustrious and lengthy pro career once scoring 5 touchdowns in a single game for the Houston Oilers.  People couldn't get enough of Billy and he was earning 300 thou a year from his practice but due to bad investments and gambling Billy partook in counterfeiting and in 1983 was sent to prison for two and a half years.  After being released Billy was a pariah amongst the same people who had once worshipped him, a deranged woman was witnessed screaming at Billy "Jailbird, Jailbird," Dr. Cannon noted "Does she think that I don't know that I was in jail?"  I would watch Paula Deen for maybe 10 seconds during her long stay on TV I knew who she was.  Paula Deen was thought to have used a racial slur, why would anyone care about this triviality I've heard Blacks using the term quite a bit.  Besides I guess one held a gun on her this would lead to umbrage in anyone.  Those who Crushed Paula Deen and for no good reason must not like themselves very much if they would unload on someone for this trifle all they accomplished was to lessen themselves.

It should be prostrate not prostate the American TV Media purposely got me confused this is all their fault.  I was just watching Brad Paisley's "Beat This Summer" video, the little boy will probably never see her again that's so sad.

good talk

The TV Media has made unimportant criminal trials into huge extravaganzas to inflate Ratings due to their weak minds' inability to boost Ratings via skillful reporting on significant World Affairs. Once on a Greyhound trip heading to Louisville the lady sitting next to me said "He's playing with himself" I look over and some White Guy about "35" driving a real nice car was alongside the bus and doing this while gazing up at the passengers (or maybe the bus).  The tone wasn't of shock or outrage but that this was stupid some guy said "He must not have much to do" this reminds me of the American TV Media. Oh, I was denied entry into Serbia due to my passport showing that I had entered Kosovo from Montenegro the way the Serbs have it is if your passport shows that you entered Kosovo from Montenegro, Macedonia or Albania then you will be denied entry into Serbia (?).

good talk

Russia and Vladimir Putin's defiant stance towards the U.S. regarding Edward Snowden (the beleaguered sow Bear growling on its hind legs determined to protect its cub) taking a swing at the big bully on the block while most of the other countries are shoving each other out of the way in order to prostate themselves and kowtow to the United States has gained them a lot of International Respect.

good talk

I took a taxi, just me, from Tirana to Podgorica, Montenegro the Capitol, Montenegro has a population of 630 thou and Podgorica has l56,000 three-quarters Orthodox and 17% Moslem.  The agreed upon price for the taxi was 14 Euros and he understood that once we arrived at the Podgorica Bus Station he said 40 Euros.  He had gotten me through an international border and where I said in Podgorica I gave him 17 no more than I would have.  Where you find Moslems you find thievery and stupidity.  The lst hotel I stayed at in Tirana tried to charge me for 2 nights although I had stayed one I didn't pay the supposed 2nd night and left.  There's nothing to see in Podgorica but picturesque and nice people by reputation tall yeah they are I just walked extensively and enjoyed my brief stay in my 110th country.  I took a bus to Pristina, Kosovo my 111th.  Kosovo has a population of 1.8 mil Pristina has 200 thou.  Kosovo was under Moslem control from the Battle of Kosovo in 1389 when the Ottoman Turks defeated a Christian coalition until 1912.  Kosovo declared Independence from Serbia in 2008 some countries recognize this some don't for sure Serbia doesn't.  After the dissolution of Yugoslavia there was much conflict between the Moslems and Serbs concerning Kosovo with many bad things happening from 1996 to 1998 and especially during the War from Feb. 1998 to June 1999 but all bad things end and I found my time there quite enjoyable.

good talk

I enjoyed the Museum of Kosovo, the Neolithic terracotta "Goddess On the Throne."  They also had some nice Mosques, Pristina is a pleasant laid-back place and I enjoyed just walking around.  I just wanted to head North I asked the ticket-seller at the bus station if I could successfully try to go to Belgrade, Serbia where I've been twice, I told him the Great Book said that Serbia wouldn't allow you to enter from Kosovo (also Macedonia and Montenegro) and he said it would be "no problem."  So I buy a ticket get on the bus and am turned back at the Serbian Border.  It cost me 20 Euros to take a taxi back to the Pristina Bus Station.  A big place I talked to the guy in charge and asked for a refund on my ticket he said you used it I said I didn't get to Belgrade.  I was yelling at them Plan B was to head North via Bucharest, Romania (Plan A cost me a wasted 50 U.S.)  they quickly got me on a bus heading to Skopje, Macedonia where I waited 5 hours and got on a bus to Sofia, Bulgaria where after 3 hours I took a train to Bucharest where I already had been twice, I was in 4 countries in 26 hours.

Not to beat it into the ground but I never have thought that I could successfully take on a man showing a firearm one reason why I'm alive and T. Martin isn't.  I saw that segment on "Good Morning America" showing FedEx employees throwing and slamming packages recently I received an expensive package at the U.S. Post Office which was heat-damaged 2 out the last 3 have been whereas none of the many previously the Post Office is no longer any good.  UPS?  Russia apparently is going to grant asylum to Edward Snowden telling Eric Holder to go soak his head.  Russia never has extradited anyone to anywhere the Russian Bear is showing no fear of the evil United States by not giving in to their disgraceful demands.  (Barry and Eric jumping up and down).....I'll Get You My Pretty and Your Little Dog Too....

good talkL

Sometimes I come into those real good heavy circular locks that sell at Wal-Mart for $13 and give them to guys at the gym to put on their lockers to safeguard their goods I just gave away the 7th of these you're not suprised that I do this you know I'm a Regular Guy.  It's time for Ted Kaczynski to be released from prison 17 years in a tiny cell is plenty of punishment.  Dr. Kaczynski was misguided and is sorry for what he did and won't do anything like that ever again.  The people of Cincinnati have built their lives around Chili there's 2 chains devoted to this I ate at one, "Skyline," and had their most expensive Chili they even serve it over spaghetti I thought it was weak.  Not just San Diego but Las Vegas has really bad roads and for the same reason the silly taxpayers have allowed their money to be spent on public employees' salaries and pensions when it should have been spent on Infrastructure.  Maryland Parkway is one long rut when you're driving down it you feel like you're sitting on a buckboard.

I saw Posey play a week ago Sunday (Padres won 10-1 Stults at "33" who until last year had had only 25 Major League Starts is now the Ace of the Padres' Staff).  It was 2011 that Buster broke his leg, hey man, I'm tired.

good talk

Rev Al is urging things on as usual, the TV Media is stoking the Florida Shooting for Ratings, Themselves, they are flawed people.  Barack Obama indicated before the trial that Zimmerman was guilty oh he's the President and a law professor.  Th   e Federal Govt indicated it didn't like the State Jury's Verdict and was going to get Zimmerman  one way or the other this Country has descended into lunacy.  The only eyewitness backed up Zim. that Martin had suckerpunched him and was beating him on the ground.  One could say that Zim. who was a mature man and 50 lbs. heavier wasn't a very good fighter or you could say since Martin probably wasn't going to beat him to death did Zim. have to shoot him.  It was a fair trial I thought Zim. looked respectable sitting there to these 6 women who are physically weak and wouldn't want some guy beating them on all 6 agreed that the shooting was justified. It would be hard for me to see Martin as an innocent child in this.  Recently I took a train from Sofia to Bucharest and was talking to a smart college boy (he indicated that the chick sitting across wasn't as good as I said and that he did better he was a nicelooking kid)  and he told me of the Gypsy Problem they have in Bulgaria.  Largely suppressed under Communism the Gypsies have taken advantage of effete laws he said that they broke into his Grandmother's house one night and terrorized her taking all the metal (plumbing) also he told me that one guy had shot and killed a Gypsy who had broken into his house and that 50 Gypsies had sworn a vendetta vowing to kill him, others agreed with what he had said.  These people who don't respect the decision of a jury of his peers in a Constitutionally approved Court of Law and say that they're going to ruin or end Zimmerman's life are just as bad as these Gypsies.

good talk sI

I was in Laughlin, NV recently for 3 days 90 miles from Las Vegas it's not on my road atlas which is 30 years old.  9 Casinos on the Colorado River and no town for 3 miles just a few gas stations and a good discount Mall.  I get a real cheap rate from the hotel I stay at just for being a somewhat frequent guest I don't gamble there.  Beautiful river and nothing to bug you one can really relax.  The visitors are blue collar and old folks of various financial status beautiful nice quiet place.  At the Riverside Casino (Don Laughlin's who the town is named after) there's a very impressive and extensive antique car collection lots of cars from the beginning of automobiles all of them beauties, a '54 Corvette a '63 Stingray the first year for that lots from the 30's and 40's it's a lot of fun for everybody, free.  Also in the Riverside is the Watch Store which has been featured on network TV it claims to be the biggest watch store in the world most of them $20 and during the Watch Store's 20 years of existence every so often they salt a Rolex in amongst the $20 watches and if come upon it you can buy it for $20, they've given away 12 Rolex's in this manner and the last time was a year ago this past May so......  In the Riverside Buffet the pork ribs are so tender the meat is falling off the bone. At the end of a few days you haven't spent much and have had a wonderful time.  Buster Posey is on past week's SI Cover as the best player in baseball he lost most of last year to a broken leg I don't see how anybody can be a catcher and still hit it's so dangerous and exhausting.  Mike Scioscia was the catcher for the Dodgers for 12 years and was on 2 World Series Champions and then another as the longest tenured manager in baseball with the Angels, Scioscia was known for giving in to no one I remember after one collision Scioscia was laying there unconscious and the baserunner was laying there with a broken nose.

Malta my 109th bought a ticket to Athens for 200 U.S. total at an agency used it the same day. I've been to Athens a zillion times it's always beyond great but only there so I could advance northward.  Very safe people seem downtrodden.  Had decent cheap lodging at Omonoia Square where even the Commies have abandoned their longtime headquarters. Went to the fabled Archeological Museum closed my last 2 visits due to the Greeks' Sloth and saw my old friends the bronze statue of Zeus pulled from the sea, 5th cent. B.C. and the marble statue of the wounded Gallic Warrior able to defend himself for the instant, 1st cent. B.C.  Climbed to the Acropolis and saw the perfections (Lord Elgin did the world a favor by taking the Marbles to the British Museum where they've been safe).  The "New Acropolis Museum," 2009 is real fab. Took the bus to Tirana, Albania glad to leave on May 1 as everything closed.  Beautiful scenery buses are always cheap and I often prefer them to trains anyway.  Been to Albania before pop. 3 mil, Tirana founded by the Ottoman Turks in 1614 half Moslem half Orthodox today.  Albania ruled by Communist leader Enver Hoxha from 1944 to 1985 and closed off from the rest of the world until 1989. Took bus to Durres on the Adriatic Sea Albania's 2nd City founded in the 7th cent. by the Greeks it became a very important port of Rome's.  The amphitheatre from 2nd cent. A.D. sat 20 thou only excavated in the 1960's it's basically unrestored and a lot of fun to walk around within.

You people set a record for pageviews of my Blog recently every one is seen by many, you like me you really like me.  When I was in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades I always had a pocketknife on me and would hone the blade on the outside of the building at lunch times have changed for the worse.  A hotel chain in France is Mister Bed.  I was just watching "Dragnet" on TV when Jack Webb died the next day the LAPD flew its flags at half-mast.  "America's Most Wanted" was the only TV series I made it a point to watch, thanks John.  So sorry about Randy Travis "I Told You So" is one of my favorite songs.  Going to see the Padres play the Giants I like day games a bratwurst at the ballpark is better than steak at the Ritz. I donated blood yet again for the umpteenth time they consider me to have rare blood and cut my pint 6 ways and give it to Preemies everyone should help others.  Throughout the Country only 6% of the adults give blood mainly due to Fear (?)  however amongst the TV Media it's a mere 2% being so craven is a serious problem (go see the Wizard).

good talkI

I just re-read my Brother Bob's article on Jeff Buxton in the Oct., 2012 "Amateur Wrestling News" the content is real good to those many of you men possessing weak minds or possessed by them it'll make them a little stronger.  I flew Las Vegas to Gatwick Airport, London on British Airways and then flew Air Malta to Malta. Strangely I know 3 guys who've been there.  Malta is 121 sq. mi. (like 11 miles by 11 miles) and very densely populated with 450 thou. Under many it became British in 1800 heavily bombed by the Italians in WW II (2nd Siege of Malta) it gained Independence in 1964.  It consists of Malta, capital Valletta, which is packed with English tourists and quite upscale though not too expensive full of goodlooking girls both English and Maltese and a frenetic nightlife. Nearby Gozo is a lot more relaxed the 3rd island is little Comino.  With Aagar Qim and Mnajdra on Malta and Ggantija on Gozo you have the 3 oldest freestanding structures in the world built 4000 to 3500 B.C. to walk around in them is very exciting.  The Tarxien Temples are also real interesting from around 2500 B.C., the St. John's Co-Cathedral Museum is very impressive and has 2 major works by Caravaggio who painted on Malta for 15 months and the Archeological Museum is real fine.

good talk

I don't know why the TV Media reads my Blog as I never have a good word about them they're out to lunch.  This hijacking of Evo Morales' plane to Vienna and Morales' kidnapping by the U.S. for 14 hours is a tremendous violation of Bolivia's sovereignty.  The U.S. thinks the Latin American Countries are Wetbacks that they can treat any way they want.  That Commie Indian Morales seems like a likable Cuss and acts like Un Hombre in standing up to the United States.  The U.S. will never gets its slimey hands on Snowden (were I he I'd choose Venezuela or Bolivia either is good his other option isn't).  I'm envious of Ed's father it sure would be something to have a son like that (the U.S. is jumping up and down screaming We'll Get You....)  Lance Armstrong's "I am a flawed character" is a take-off on Bob's "I am a flawed man" Imitation is the height of Flattery.

I saw the Padres play the Dodgers and during the 7th Inning Stretch a girl in the Navy looking real cute, brunette, in whites and sailor hat sang "America the Beautiful" and her voice was just that, so beautiful, she could do this in front of 31 thou.  I went to the Del Mar Fair the 5th or 6th largest in the country some of those exhibitors do tremendous business I bought something for $250.   I really like all those animals, horses, sheep, goats, all of them.  I always enjoy the pigs they had large numbers of Yorkshire, Hampshire, Duroc and other breeds mostly about 250 lbs. and when I pet them I would feel their great strength they had some wonderful showpigs.  A guy was expounding to me about his blue-ribbon winning hog and I said that's a beautiful pig.  The Grandstand Show was Bridgit Mendler who I had never heard of she's "20" and real pretty a favorite of little girls the 6-year old in front of me knew all her songs and was ecstatic throughout, I was only going to stay briefly but her singing and dancing was really good.

good talk

Long ago in another city I had a friend who was a member of the Italian Branch, which Family, Gambino.  He was much like Tony Soprano but whereas Tony had a tattoo he didn't and while Tony's torso was as smooth as a baby's face my friend's was covered with scars from bullet and knife wounds, he said he had had hand grenades thrown at him. He had killed several guys and I don't know anything about any of them maybe one....I just killed them I didn't torture them....you know that I would have nice friends.  Strangely we had similar personalities though I had never done anything like this. I asked him if they did all this hugging and kissing....That would give it away or people would think you were queer....He knew Joe Valachi as "Joe the Rat" from reading Peter Maas' "The Valachi Papers" I knew much more about him.  All of his relatives were mental defectives of one type or the other Valachi himself had a photographic memory he could remember phone numbers he had hardly used from 30 years before.  It's a very rough life you can have no life at all my friend's father was whacked in a phone booth.  My buddy died from natural causes but went out in a very hard way.  He had done a lot of bad things and you usually get what you deserve in this life the American TV Media is going down this road Crushing Paula Deen if they want to see somebody bad they should look in the mirror.  I've had a lot of Masses said over the years for the repose of his Soul very few have Masses said for them at all much less decades after they've died so there must have been a lot of Good in him (the TV Media doesn't and I'm for sure not having any said for them), poor thing.
