   Creighton zonked Akron U, in the first round, of the NCAA, AU was ahead, towards the end of the 1st half, but fell behind, and looked gassed, by half-time.  Akron U, was so tired, in the 2nd half,  they couldn't make their shots. Creighton said, we practice, at the pace, we play our games, and some teams, can't keep-up. Akron is only, 100 miles, from Pittsburgh, after the game, the AU players, drove home, and went to bed. The best team, percentage-wise, Akron U, ever had, was the 1933-1934 season, which was 15-1, they played Kent State, for the Conference Championship, the last game of the season, for both, a slow-down game, then, Akron U  winning, 32 to 28, with AU's Bob Preusse scoring 22 points, Akron U, could have used, my old man, this past Thursday, tho he's been dead, for 50 years
