good talk
I had been to Seattle before a real nice place with a lot of that Microsoft money scattered downtown I was in their beautiful new library. I was in the first Starbucks still existing which will excite (caffeine jolt) those like myself. Pike Place Market is unique with those guys expertly throwing big fish around without smacking the onlookers. I saw the Mariners play the Rangers at SAFECO Field cold as heck in early May even with the retractable roof closed one side is open. There's something on the History Channel about Port Wine. 32 years ago I was in Porto, Portugal where the grapes you buy in a store are so sugar-laden that after you eat them you have to wash your lips off with hot soapy water. I bought a couple bottles of vintage Port Wine and took them back to the States giving one to my older brother Bob in Cleveland and opening the other after I drove to the West Coast it tasted like Mad Dog. I saw Puss In Boots at "Tropicana Cinemas" at Trop and Pecos (buck fifty) enjoyable for all kids. I belonged to the Cat Lovers Club until it caved in after the death of our very capable President. One of her buddies and a member was Bill Bennett the Casino Mogul and Bill gave us money in 10 thou increments which was spent quickly as we'd give free shots and neuter to anybody's cat we minored in dogs, we only allowed loving people to adopt our stray cats. One of the Club Trustees was Rex Bell the Clark County District Attorney at that time who passed away recently at "76." As an Assistant District Attorney Rex never lost a case his Mom was Silent Screen Legend Clara Bow.

good talk
I've been through the Columbia Gorge on the Oregon side a couple times during daylight it's supposed to be awe-inspiring it's allright. I've been to Portland a few times founded in 1851 and known as The City of Roses I always like to go to Powell's City of Books the largest bookstore in the country although now you can't just walk into their Rare Book Room. Portland has more park acreage than any other American City and you feel really good being there. Before you Critters buy the farm you should see The International Test Rose Garden begun in 1917 they're always trying to produce new strains of roses. You need to go when the roses are in bloom in June, July or August when all that rain is put to good use in 550 different typed of roses not just a few of each but as much as 4 yards by 10 yards of one particular variety. Say I was there the first Saturday in June when they have the Rose Parade, this is one of the best things in the entire country they're still trying to produce a black rose and they all smell the same.

Recently a" small plane crashed killing the Head and Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Oklahoma State the pilot was "82," we all make our own problems. Since leaving Cleveland LeBron James has endured many vitriolic outburst, playing for the Championship twice in 8 years is outstanding and he was under no obligation to stay in Cleveland once his contract was up. I left Ohio after 32 years I owed the place nothing and neither does he. Many low vipers will continue to harangue him that 's what this country has come to. Many of us guys would like to see "Moneyball" win the Oscar for Best Picture and Brad Pitt win the Oscar for Best Actor. I'm going to have to give "Lowe's" more of my business. Strike the Gold was put down recently due to an infected leg at the good age of 23, I bet and won on him at the Kentucky Derby, the son of Majestic Gold and Alydar who died the same day that Strike the Gold ran his first race his Dad never got a chance to see him race.

Dave "Smoke" Stewart now "54" was a Major League right-handed pitcher of great prowess who 4 consecutive times won 20 or more games for the Oakland Athletics in large part due to his smoking fastball, in his career he was 9-1 against the fabled Roger Clemens when he was in his prime. And today the NASCAR driver Tony Stewart is known as "Smoke Stewart" things have gotten so bad that the writers will steal your nickname. Denver is a nice, clean city that I've been to a few times, founded in 1858 due to the Pikes Peak Gold Strike, I went to the Capitol Building which I had toured previously the 15th step up to the entrance marks l mile above sea level. In previous trips I had toured the Denver Mint which produces most of the coins in the U.S. (look for the D) and the Coors Brewery the largest in the world (workers are allowed 2 free beers at the end of each shift our kind of place). I went to the History Museum and their very good Art Museum (you people should try art museums as art liberates one's mind and afterwards your thinking is optimum of course anything might help). I saw the Rockies play the Pirates at Coors Field ice-cold at night in late April.

good talk
I just saw "Animal House" on TV, a guy goes to a women's college to pick up his girlfriend and is told that she died so he takes her roommate. A friend of mine has no medical insurance I told him that he has to rely on Obamacare and the Great Black Father, Barry is a nice guy but he's misguided as there's little money for that or much of anything else. The Republican Candidates thus far are so weak that maybe Barry can do it again, I'm waiting for a groundswell of support for myself on the Telepathic Ticket, hey I'd do good. John Walsh and America's Most Wanted are back on TV and many are happy about this. The United States is trying to force Gay Rights down everybody's throats that shows a lot of arrogance look at the way this country is should we be posturing. Not many would believe Japan's contention that they actually wanted to give the U.S. a half-hour warning before they attacked at Pearl Harbor. That would have allowed the many well-trained soldiers and sailors to arm themselves and gather ammunition resulting in 3 times as many downed Japanese planes. The Japanese Intelligence was so bad that they attacked when the 3 American aircraft carriers were elsewhere, their two waves of aerial assault only resulted in the Battleships Arizona and Oklahoma being rendered permanently useless. Those silly Japs didn't even attack the Americans' ancillary facilities for ship repair, fuel and their submarine pens which would have been far more valuable to destroy. The Japanese bungled effort at Pearl Harbor exposed them to be big fools, at best Admiral Nagumo's bringing of a huge fleet of 6 aircraft carriers and 24 other vessels 4000 miles undetected was a moot victory in logistics as how the heck could that be done. I used to know a Black guy who was Retired Navy who told me that he was at Pearl Harbor and that this was the source of the big scar he had on his right forearm, he said that initially due to the many casualties they only taped it stitching it later. He said that he had a friend in the brig on the "Arizona" awaiting Dishonorable Discharge.
