good talk
Penn State edged Ohio State Sat. Nite, for the 2018 NCAA Wrestling Championship, on the basis of PS's Bo Nickal (looks like Opie), getting a quick-pin vs. the Bucks' Myles Martin, at 184 lbs. Myles won at 174 lbs. last year, and has 2 years left, just not his nite. At Heavyweight, Ohio State's Kyle Snyder defeated Michigan's Adam Coon, 3-2, to take his 3rd consecutive NCAA Heavyweight Championship. Adam, at 6'6" and 283 lbs. looked like Goliath against Kyle, 5'11 and 226 lbs., they spent most of the match locked-horns, and you wondered how Kyle could withstand all that weight and strength, plus it's easier to push-down than up, a rule of thumb is, whoever gets leverage wins, not then. These NFL guys Kyle's size, can't move anywhere near as well as him, maybe the little-ones, too, wish I knew how he does it. It was 1-1, with both getting an escape, Kyle won on a take-down, and the resulting 2 pts., then giving up the escape, for 1 pt., as Adam was much less dangerous from an up-position, and with time running -out. Adam, a 5th year Senior, was injured last year, and is one of the 2 best HW's in College, he already has a degree in Aerospace Engineering, and is in Grad School, he talks of going into pro football, I think he should just pursue his studies, of course, it's none of my business. It used to be, until 1987, that you could weight an unlimited amount at HW, but it's now 285 lbs, as these 450 lb. guys would lay on their opponent, who couldn't breathe because he had all this fat in their mouth, with fat blocking his nose, also, these too-heavy guys didn't live long, dying from Diabetes, even as young as "29"
