good talk

Wells Fargo has yet to return my $213.15 that was fraudently obtained on my ATM Card in the Mexico City Airport and it's been over a year so get off your fat butts and get me my money, you too, Warren. Up through the Ozarks to Kansas City, Missouri, been to Kansas City, Kansas and it doesn't amount to anything interesting. Cold as heck in early April, there's nothing at 12th St. and Vine. During Prohibition there was in effect no prohibition under Mayor Tom "Boss" Pendergast and there were hundreds of 24-Hour Clubs which gave a boost to jazz, there's the very good Jazz Hall of Fame in the same building as the very good Negro Leagues Hall of Fame. Charley Parker known as "Yardbird" or "Bird" grew up 2 blocks from there and was a heroin addict from the time he was "17." Clint Eastwood directed the very good movie "Bird" about 22 years ago inspired by having seen him perform. Bird said if you don't live the life it's not coming out of your horn. Strangely Harry Truman was a product of the totally corrupt Pendergast Machine, known for his probity he paid creditors a hundred cents on the dollar for a bankrupt haberdashery. Union Station has a museum and during WWII half the GI's in the country passed through Kansas City, outside of Union Station on June 17, 1933 4 lawmen were slain in an attempt to free Frank "Jelly" Nash who was being escorted to Leavenworth, Nash himself was gunned down in the confusion this became known as "the Kansas City Massacre." I was very disappointed in the Hallmark doesn't have its tour on Sundays and Mondays. I went to the Kansas City Library to read SI and was told that I'd need a library card so I gave them some jive address and they gave me one, a real nice old building with a deli and salad bar inside the library. I went to SeaWorld San Diego as I've been thinking about it for the past year. They've papered the area with $20 off coupons as their business was off 9.5% in 2010 from the year before, all these other parks in Southern California like Disneyland increased their business. It cost $50 and was well worth whatever they would charge, it was really good. I was at SeaWorld in Aurora outside of Cleveland long ago and had been to SeaWorld San Diego in 1979 when it cost $8 and parking was free instead of $14 today but it's much better now, I was there 9 hours and saw and did everything.
