good talk

Frazier Glenn Miller's 1999 memoir was "A White Man Speaks Out," my own memoir will soon be out, "I, A White Man."  Jack Nicholson recently turned "77," Jack's personal art collection is worth a 100 mil.  I was watching "Forrest Gump" on the AMC (shown repeatedly), certainly the most unique movie and a very good one.  When Forrest gets to Vietnam he and the others are patrolling through the countryside to the dramatic, ominous tones of Jimi Hendrix' "All Along the Watchtower."  Jimi was in the 101st (Screaming Eagles) at the same time as my older brother.  ... If you don't live the life ...  Bernard Hopkins is one of the best boxers in the World at almost "50" (those cookies).  His own manager and a smart guy, Bernard has floated the idea of Public Office in his native Philly should they overlook his 6 Felony Convictions (served 5 years in Prison in his youth for Armed Robbery), the woebegone city should take him up on it.  Rest in Peace, Rubin Carter ("Hurricane").  A guy I know, Ross, and a couple of others (not me) drove 80 miles up to Bunkerville to see if they could meet Cliven Bundy and tell him of their support.  They did meet him and Ross had a picture taken with Cliven with his arm draped over Cliven's back.  Now, there's a good man (Cliven and Ross).  This past Saturday, at my gym a White Guy and a Black Guy were arguing over weights, the White Guy pushed the other and the Black Guy was chasing the White Guy all over the gym with a 6 inch blade, fortunately the White Guy was able to evade the Black Guy during the somewhat lengthy pursuit with the Black Guy running out the door before the Cops got there.  It's really a nice facility with an usually really wholesome atmosphere, can't we all just get along.  The next time that you visit Las Vegas leave word and I'll use my influence to get you a 3-Day Pass ...
