good talk
I've been following Jim Harbaugh's Coaching Career since he was at USD, a quarterback in the NFL for 14 years a long time he was offered the U. of Michigan Coaching Job his Alma Mater when he was at Stanford and he put it down bad saying that when he arrived at Michigan he was discouraged from being a History Major because it involved a lot of reading. I had always noticed that Michigan's, a distinguished place, football players often had a Phys. Ed. Major. I've always thought that "Touchdown Jesus" Mural at N.D. to be sacrilegious. Joe Theismann was a great high school quarterback in New Jersey and when he arrived at Notre Dame in 1967 he and his family had always pronounced their surname Thees-man he was told that from then on he should pronounce it Thighs-man as that rhymed with Heisman (maybe they also told him that was the correct German Pronunciation and they wanted him to get it right).
