good talk

Matt Bush (See My Blog for Feb. 20, 2009 and Jan. 2, 2013), after 3 years in prison has done well in Spring Training with the Texas Rangers.  Matt is now "30" and apparently did no baseball while locked-up, but went "98" with his moving-fastball and showed a fab curveball.  To say I'm surprised is putting-it mildly.  Matt will no doubt be in the Minors this Season, but as he has been striking-out Major Leaguers, could be up with the Rangers at the end of the Season, all this since he's been off the sauce since his incarceration.  I'm very happy for him.  Statler Brothers, Class of '57   ...Things get complicated when you get past eighteen...
