On the PBS, was a biographic of Nicolaus "Klaus" Barbie, the highly-successful commandant of the Gestapo, in Lyon, France, from 1942 to 1944. Responsible for the deaths of 14 thou, Barbie would personally torture and kill them. Protected and paid after the War for his intelligence-expertise, by the Americans, then the W. Germans, spirited to S. America, the Bolivian Government, rising to Lt. Col. Deported to France for trial as a war criminal in 1983, when a democratic-regime came to power, Klaus' trial began in 1984. Some old Jew who had witnessed Barbie's actions in Lyon, said that he smirked then as he was doing at his trial, "laughing at the world". Sure looked that way. In Sam Peckinpah's 1969 blood and guts classic, "The Wild Bunch", the outlaws are thinking of their next endeavor ...Fort Supply gets their payroll the end of the month... ...Information like that is mighty hard to come by...

I've now accrued 9000 points in "Rewards" on my Citibank "Diamond Preferred" MasterCard, one point being-regarded as worth one dollar. It was only a couple of years ago, that I found out that all those points are "good" for are a bunch of 20% discounts on things that you could easily buy elsewhere for less, with no discount. (See My Blogs for June 21, 2015, Oct. 8, 2015, Dec. 21, 2016). Thus far, Citibank has succeeded in cheating me, and there would be a lot of other trusting-senior citizens in my situation, thousands. I still have and use this card, as I'm quite sure that Citibank will transfer my points into the card I thought I had, that is, qualifying me for nice gifts. You lowlifes have been cognizant of Citibank's skullduggery, for long, with no attempt to right this obvious-wrong. Now, when I have the time, I'm going to have the expense and effort of suing Citibank, for their criminality, when the Federal Branch, defying the Constitution, shirked their responsibility, of redress and reparation, due a U.S. Citizen. It's almost as tho, none of you have a moral-conscience

Vladimir Klitschko is fighting Anthony Joshua on April 29, at Wembley, before 90 thou, and a turnaway crowd of 37 thou, all this on the first day of sale. In Europe they embrace boxing much more than in the U.S., you people have no respect for anything. Luke Tyson Fury is beset by mental and drug-problems, and has frittered-away his fortune, a basket-case, I doubt if he fights again. Luke's cousin, Hughie Fury, is "22" and is also a big-heavyweight, he fights Joseph Parker, a Maori, in Auckland, on May 6. Luke's and Hughie's trainer, Peter Fury, has been denied a visa by New Zealand, due to his being incarcerated for 10 years for drug-offenses, so Hughie will be standing-there without his father and the trainer who has guided him to 20-0, I'd take Parker. The Irish Travellers are rather different from everyone-else, they're secretive and even have their own-language, there's maybe 10 thou in the U.S.. And one of the ways they make money here, is by insuring each other's lives (no kidding). Their life-expectancy is short, and well-known to be this, the insurance-agent can't say, you're an Irish Traveller and statistically won't live long, if they qualify in the usual-ways, they have to be insured

If any of you have a suitable employment-opportunity, perhaps Joe Hipp would be interested, in Yakima, Washington, last I heard (See My Blogs for Feb. 13, 2010 and Nov. 26, 2014)

I got a Hit from Turkmenistan (istan is Persian for, land of). I just told some guy his sniffling was driving me nuts, and to blow his nose, I often do this. Vitali Klitschko has been the mayor of Kiev since 2014, he says that politics is much-harder than boxing (45-2, 41 KO's). Also being successful, Kiev's budget has almost-doubled during his tenure. Vitali named Corrie Sanders as being the hardest-puncher he encountered ...I've never faced anyone who hit as hard as Corrie... Saying he only prevailed as he had learned from Vladimir's disaster (See My Blog for Oct. 21, 2012). Easily the best Rock was from the late 60's and the 70's, it was all drug-induced. On the PBS, I just saw a biographic on Janis Joplin, one of my favorites, better'n to burn out than rust

On Thurs., I went to the 24 Hour Fitness on W. Trop (See My Blog for Mar. 19, 2017) at 8 A.M., and the place was swarming with Cops. Ha, when I first started there 4 months before, the management claimed all these celebrities went there, none do, the reality is it's full of big drug-dealers, and in-passing you often hear them discussing their transactions. The management is either too cowardly to confront-them or complicit, when it's going "right", it's a drug safehouse. They drop weights and other anti-social activities, I'm going to find another Health Club, that roost is for the birds.

Due to the happenings, a trial-judge calling a cessation for the day, interrupting a prosecutor's rebuttal ...hmph, hmph, hmph ...M'Lord, M'Lord... The costs of medical-care in this country are so outrageous primarily due to the costs of medicines. In 2008, I flew to Cairo, with an 8-hour stopover in Brussels, naturally, I wasn't hanging-around the dull airport, I took public transpo into the center. I had no coat, and was wearing a ban-lon, and it was quite-cold, an older lady commented ...You'll catch pneumonia... I did, even tho I had been vaccinated 9 months before. Saw their cathedral, nothing, and their very-good art museum. By the 2nd day in Cairo, I was coughing every few seconds, and did this all night. This didn't stop my activities at all, I saw what I wanted, pyramids, Egyptial Museum, and so on, in and around Cairo, and did this in Luxor (at the 3-star I stayed-at, the lady who was the housekeeper, molded the bath towels, into swans and other pleasing-shapes). Back to Cairo, and bought a ticket at a Copt Travel Agency (oldest Christian Sect), for Kuwait, never been there. My 2nd day in Kuwait, I went to a pharmacy, and these were also Copts, husband and wife pharmacists, and they had their little boy in there, Sat., and the lady was showing him how to keep the books. The lady said, ...boy are you... No, the symptoms of my malady were evident, and she brought me 2 Swiss Pharmaceuticals, and some Egyptian cough-syrup, and said follow the instructions. The total cost was 36 U.S. I took the 2 types of pills, the cough-syrup was inconsequential, and was cured in 4 days. Whenever I've encountered the Coptics (the women stand-out as usually or maybe always wearing a crucifix around their neck, in a Moslem world), I've found-them very good people. I wanted to send-them a thank you card, but somehow lost their address, probably due to being so bad-off. Like Don, I too, am a germaphobe, every morning I take a long, hot shower, and instead of toweling-off, I spray-myself with 91% alcohol from top to bottom and let it dry, takes but a few minutes (now, he'll do this). Born dirty, die clean

Yesterday, I did Pilates with the other girls (ballerina crunches). I've belonged to 24 Hour Fitness for almost 22 years, and since my old gym closed-down, I've been going to the SuperSport at 5035 W. Tropicana, in Las Vegas, 89103. It's a real-nice facility, but the rule they have posted in Capitals on the wall in front of the free-weights isn't obeyed DO NOT DROP THE WEIGHTS. Weird-guys, none of whom are very-strong, try to get attention by dropping say, a barbell with 200 lbs. on it, from waist-level, and it produces a thunderous-crashing sound, which is very-bad for the Members' hearing, as well as being disruptive to their concentration. This happens all the time, even tho I've sent a number of emails to the local headquarters concerning this gross-violation of their rules, it continues. Instead of ordering the scum-management to abide by 24 Hour's posted-rule, they do nothing. I've been in a lot of 24 Hour's Clubs over the years, and only at this SuperSport on Trop is dropping the weights allowed. And, I've even written, sent thru the Post Office, a letter to 24 Hour's national-headquarters in Carlsbad, Ca., that their purported-purpose of uplifting the Members' wellbeing and their own rule, is being disregarded by those in charge of enforcement, this with no result. So, they're all a bunch of dumb bastards

Can anyone today, clean, and that includes HGH, do the Billy Cannon Double? I have yet, to hear of anyone, champing at the bit, on this

87 and blue skies, our Eastern "brethren" are getting cabin-fever, they eye each-other hungrily. There was a certain romance to the old record-players, the smell of burning-wax ...Heavenly shades of night are falling, it's twilight time, out of the mist your voice is calling... And "The Platters" had eloquent lyrics. I see where Kent State beat Akron U. for their conference championship, it hasn't always been this way (See My Blog for Dec. 19, 2008), Akron U. defeated Kent State 32-28, a slowdown-game back then with the center-jump after each basket, my Old Man had 22 points. Eventually machines will take-over and rule, humans will be regarded as useless and done-away with, except for the few which they'll keep in zoos with the other animals. For the present, I see all these people on TV who make a lot of money, while I live in near-poverty, the attitude is that Ed is inferior and undeserving, au contraire, the opposite is true

I saw Emma Watson on GMA, which is generally-weak itself. La La Land is no great movie, an extremely-simple storyline, and weak-dancing, Emma creakily-gyrating about. Another from years ago was "Mystic River", which garnered 2 of the big Oscars. That chick who got killed was dancing on the bar at this neighborhood tavern, there is nowhere this is done as it violates all kinds of Health Codes, and drunks would be flying-off into the liquor, nightly, the place would be sued out of existence. I'm a liberal-grader, I'd give both a "B". I must admit to being disappointed at not being offered work in the current Federal administration, whatsamatta?

Don and I are no spring-chickens, and he often looks tired (National Sleep-In? We can handle it), he must husband his strength so that his beautiful-message continues, and as much as he loves-life, that too. Don has said, that if you want to keep correspondence private, use a courier. Anything on the Internet is there for everybody, I especially put nothing on it that I would deem privy. Most of Don's criticisms are well-founded, and are well-appreciated. I'm sure that Obama did bug him. Obama desecrated a great American and President, William McKinley (See My Blogs for Sept. 1 and Sept. 8, 2015), no low-deed is beneath one capable of such sacrilege

You're always hearing ...Prostitution is the world's oldest profession... I heard it on the idiot-box yesterday. What, before Man became hunter-gatherers, they were doing this, prostitution is a profession? I understand that all illegal aliens use fake ID, and some nut in yesterday's R-J justifies ...Some people, including illegal immigrants, still have morals. They may use someone else's Social Security number because they must in order to work and feed their family... Prior to last Sat's bout, Danny Garcia's colorful father and trainer, Angel ...He ain't from Philly! He ain't got a big ....! ...

Billy Cannon suffered a stroke a few years back, but is still at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, where he's the head of Dentistry, known to the inmates as "the Legend" (See My Blog for June 21, 2009). Dr. Cannon's mention begs the question, can anyone today do the "Billy Cannon Double", that is, run a 9.4 100 Yards on a dirt and cinder track, and put the 16 lb. shot 54 feet, this he did as a college kid. Billy is past his youth, and I don't think anyone today can do this. Last year, I sent Scott a postcard from Mongolia, I put it in the postal employee's hand, he looked it over and nodded. 2 years ago, I sent Rev. Al, a Filipino minister friend of mine, a postcard from Israel, mailing it at the post office at Ben Gurion--neither received their cards, as in Las Vegas, many of the postal employees are on drugs, and will just slop the mail in anywhere, if they bother to deliver it at all. I think it's only in Las Vegas this big-problem exists in this country. I've mentioned this before, nothing changes. Pricewaterhousecoopers has worked the Academy Awards forever, and that should change. I haven't watched them for many years (I saw on the news, that one year, when the "Best Picture" was announced, it turned to Michelle Obama in the White House, who called-it, like they should dominate every aspect of our lives, what they thought). I'm sure PWC has a continuing contract, and this breaks it. CBS threw us a major-fight last night at Welterweight, between the undefeateds, Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia, Thurman gaining a split-decision in a tremendous fight, featuring beautiful techniques. Thurman won the first 2 Rounds, the rest were close. In China, 30 mil live in caves (cheap)
