good talk

Flip Wilson (Dec. 8, 1933 to Nov. 25, 1998), was perhaps the best of the Black Comedians, he was amongst the best of the Comedians, and had a wildly-popular show on NBC, from 1970 to 1974, reaching 2nd-highest rated on TV.  In his skits playing "Geraldine", he's now remembered as "her" trademark being "What you see is what you get", well, it wasn't that at all (why would it be, not funny), what "she" actually said, while, say, flouncing down the stairs was "What you see is a lot more than what you're going to get".  Not some one who took himself overly-seriously, he was playing cards with these guys, with Flip's bid being  ...One Spade...
