Congratulations to Jeff Bagwell on his well-deserved induction, today, into the Baseball of Fame (See My Blog for July 6, 2009).  I was watching an episode of "The Little Rascals", their young, pretty, well-liked, teacher is engaged to be married.  Her fiance, wearing a coat and tie, arrives at the school at lunchtime to see her.  The little rascals, afraid that if she marries him, that she'll no longer be their teacher, tells him all these horrible lies about her, the fellow leaves.  Learning of this, sobbing,  ...How could you children do this to me?...  We should try to have no regrets about what we say
