good talk

Often talked-about today is the 1987 Breeders' Cup Classic, on Nov. 21, at Hollywood Park, with Ferdinand and that year's Kentucky Derby Winner, Alysheba, pounding-down the stretch of the mile and a quarter, neck and neck, vying whose will the stronger, Ferdinand by a nose at the wire, ensuring him of that year's Horse of the Year.  A lot of people have said that the Jap who sent Ferdinand to the slaughterhouse should be dragged-outside and publicly horsewhipped, I'm just sorry that Ferdinand was murdered and defiled (refusing his father's, King Priam's, entreaty of ransom, Achilles dragged Hector's naked-body behind his chariot past the walls of Troy thrice), Ferdinand only brought joy, he never hurt anybody.  See the "Ferdinand Fee" and "Friends of Ferdinand"
