good talk

I still have a big, black, bruise from having that small-amount of blood taken 6 days ago, dumb bastards.  Today's is a rare-date, on "Howdy Doody" there was a story about a girl who was all-upset because she only had a birthday every 4 years.  When "Howdy Doody" was cancelled I was all-upset, on the last episode, ClaraBelle the Clown spoke for the 1st time.  Frequently in the "Peanut Gallery" was Sigourney Weaver, whose father was President of NBC.  They had Amanda Knox' saga on CNN recently, she got a 5 mil advance for her book but not nearly worth for what she had to endure and for so long, no amount would be.  Their ongoing Kangaroo Court sure doesn't make Italy look good.  I could see them not yet being finished with her, as addled as they are.  God, was she fine.  "Binion's Horseshoe" was the epitome of Old Las Vegas, known for taking any bet, they had a million dollars on display.  The Horseshoe was also known for taking-care of its own trouble.  A long-time Security Guard told me that on 2 occasions he had slammed a steel-door on a Card Cheat's hand, if you wouldn't do this, you couldn't work there.  Everybody called Benny Binion, "Benny," I asked him if he called Benny's wife, "Teddy Jane"  ...I called her Mrs. Binion...
