good talk

Mike Riley got back from a week in Alaska (he's the one who sold me my beautiful 6-cylinder Avalon), and said it was fabulous.  He wanted to see the Aurora Borealis, and flew into Fairbanks, as early Feb. was the best time for it.  He would have considered seeing it twice as good success, but he saw it thrice, so this was high-success.  He saw it twice 25 miles north of Fairbanks, and then he saw it at the Arctic Circle, and there it had a lot of red in it, it's the dancing Northern Lights.  And one day, he went with a couple of people he met, 60 miles north of Fairbanks, to this thermal-pool and soaked all day, and there's this ice-lodge there, which he said was really too cold for his tastes, and probably mine also, as it was 17-below at the Arctic Circle and he tolerated that well.  Some of you women are thinking, Mike has a lot of nerve not taking me with him
