Running a 10-second 100 Metres on a dirt-and-cinder track in 1960 was a whole lot better than running a 9.5 second 100 Metres on today's bouncy synthetic-tracks by one of these 'roided-up characters.  Jamaica's own Sports Minister said that it would be impossible to crank-out so many "great" sprinters from such a small population.  Armin Hary and Dave Sime, there were real-men in those days
