good talk
Congratulations to Christian McCaffrey of Stanford for setting the NCAA Record for most yards in a season, with 3496, and then finishing 2nd in the balloting for the Heisman Trophy. Only "19," it must be nice being him. Christian's Dad is Ed McCaffrey, a long-time player in the NFL, who caught 101 passes for the Broncos in the 2000 Season. On his Mom's side, her Dad is Dave Sime, a brilliant sprinter and the winner of the Silver Medal in the 1960 Rome Olympics. Ed McCaffrey"is 6'5" while Christian is a modest 6' and 200 lbs, and doesn't possess the lightning-speed of his grandfather, finishing 6th in the 100 Metres in the Colorado State Meet, Gramps would smoke-him today. But Christian has garnered enough athleticism and intelligence from his forebears to attend an institution such as Stanford and perform so well on the field, may he continue in his success
