good talk

In San Diego, Peter Robbins, now "59," who was the voice of Charlie Brown in the Peanuts Specials from 1965 to 1971, was sentenced to 4 yrs and 8 months in prison, of which he has to serve at least 80%.  He's a very sick-man who had been sending letters threatening violence to various people including SD Sheriff, Bill Gore, in this instance offering money to have him killed.  We hope that he receives ample treatment while he's locked-up, he couldn't handle the fall from his early great success.  Wouldn't he receive residuals every-time the Specials are shown, I would think that would be a lot of money.  Once again, I'm sending a Christmas Card to Ted Kaczynski (See My Blog for Jan. 6, 2009, Feb. 18, 2013, Dec. 5, 2013, April 17, 2014, and Dec.9, 2014), now I know that most of you haven't had a thought since conception that didn't have to do with yourselves, but can you try to imagine what Christmas would be like in prison?  No. 04475-046, U.S. Penitentiary-Max, P.O. Box 8500, Florence, Colorado,  8126-8500.  By exposing the stupidity of the FBI (in one of his letters, he even said they were stupid, an easy conclusion), a few years before 9-11, Dr. Kaczynski, inadvertently did his Country a great-service, unfortunately his effort went for naught (?)  I saw in the NY Times that Diana Damrau, who I heard at La Scala 6 months ago (See My Blog for Oct.4, 2015), was at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, singing from Schubert, Strauss, Poulenc, and others, it would have well-worth being there
