It was actually, Nov. 8, 1942, when my father invaded French North Africa, as one of 65,000 men under Lt. Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, part of "Operation Torch".  (See My Blog For Aug. 2, 2011), if that tennis-trophy was the British' at one-time, it's ours now
