good talk

Those 2 games yesterday sure were a lot of fun to watch (watched the crucial parts of FSU-Oregon, about half of it), especially the last.  Scott is at his brother's in San Diego, his brother is a long-time SD County Sheriff's Deputy, and as he's made a fool out of himself he might not be coming-back to Las Vegas.  Just kidding, he never reads my Blog, anyway, he never has once.  Nobody saw Fla. State losing like that.  When the Bucks were down 21-6, me and everyone else thought, oh, it's Roll Tide, Alabama has 10 5-Stars and are superbly-coached.  Ohio State was in a lot better condition than Bama who've been sitting-around reading their press-clippings and eating chocolates.  Alabama's players seemed fragile, constantly leaving with injuries.  Nick is great, but Urban Meyer (he and his father are named for a series of 8 Popes, the first is a Saint) is a tremendous judge of talent, say, that squatty-little Center for OSU would never have gotten on the field for Alabama.  Cardale Jones is making the most of his opportunity.  I didn't bet the Bucks in large-part because against Wisconsin, Cardale ran 8 times for 9 yards, leading me and Alabama to think that he couldn't run.  A huge-guy, his speed and power are real-good, he was dodging people.  Cardale is a 3rd-year Soph., that is, he has 2 years left to refine his technique, and he can play in the NFL, if he does that for 5 years he'll be wealthy, then he can go-on to something else.  He played for Glenville, which has turned-out many good NFL Players.  A Cleveland Ghetto School, Glenville has a lot of Pride and their Players are inclined to stick-around rather than take a Scholarship from a Private School.  Glenville often excels at Football and Track.  The Alabama Punter was Death, the NFL Guys can't do that.  He has no excess-muscle to impede his leg's movement and has steely-nerves, he looked-like a real-nice little boy.  The Bucks' Punter was spraying-it-around and needs to relax, I'm sure that he will.  I got the impression that my saying to Urban after the game, Congrats, and to Devin Smith after a long-catch, That's Great, was bothering-them, hey guys, I'm Alumni, I'll say nothing henceforth, I know when I'm not appreciated.  LeBron is out for 2-weeks with various sprains.  All the aforementioned need 2-hour deep-tissue massages, don't we all.
