good talk

In the old comic-strip, "Pogo", there was a Cricket whose only comment was  jes fine   This is informative, Mike, yeah, the same Mike, and his friend, Chris, recently went to Yellowstone, both had been there before.  They wanted to go in the Winter, and only a relatively few are allowed-in.  Mike said that in places there was 2 feet of snow.  You can either go in some Vehicle with a Guide for $125 a day per person, which is what they did, or you can go in a Snowmobile with a Guide and that's $200 a day per person.  He said that they saw all kinds of animals and lingering that you wouldn't see during the Summer, this is due to the paucity of people.  They saw Bison, Wolves, Elk, and as the Guide said, the rarely seen Red Fox.  Mike's Dad was a Hunter, and took Mike hunting all-over Nevada.  They hunted mostly birds and small game.  Mike didn't want to hunt at all, kill these animals, and he said it gave him a slight hearing-loss.  At his Father's insistence, Mike once took a deer, and I could tell that he feels bad about it ...It was just standing there...  Some of the things we learn from our Parents we shouldn't.  I went hunting twice with a friend of mine who'd been a Lieutenant in the Airborne Rangers in Vietnam, he had killed a lot of people and been wounded himself, and he was as wild as they come.  He was thickly-muscled, not from working-out but just the way he was, and he had been a football star in high school.  He's the only one I've ever known who was good at Sports, War, and Business, he had made a lot of money and he was all of "25".  I told Mike that had the animals known his past there'd be no lingering
