good talk

Mark Helfrich and Oregon had a great season but were in against a Maestro, Urban Meyer is a very-accomplished person.  None of Ohio State's offensive linemen were individually all that good but played with cohesion and blew-out Oregon's defensive front 7 in the 2nd Half.  Zeke Elliott is a great back but somebody's grandmother could have gained yards through those holes.  Cardale Jones can play most positions and another coach would have utilized him thusly, but Urban kept Cardale a reserve-quarterback.  Cardale is "22" or "23" but needs more seasoning.  Eli Manning has gotten the Giants to 2 SuperBowls, winning them both, it didn't hurt him to be at Ole Miss for 5 years.  Ryan Leaf and Heath Shuler left after just 3 years and flamed-out.  It was telling that Junior Seau's personal nickname for Ryan was "Baby Boy."  In the recent S.I., Joey Bosa's Old Man was complaining that the "19 year-old" Joey would be picked in the top 5 of this Spring's NFL Draft but has been in college for only 2 years hence being ineligible.  Sounds Unconstitutional to me but that's how it is.  Another year at Ohio State, maybe Joey can learn something, also the Bucks have made Joey, who was only rated a 4-Star, a better player yet.  Young Joey has an interesting pedigree, his great-grandfather was Tony "the Tuna" Accardo, who ruled the Chicago Underworld for almost 50 years.  Tony was also known as "Joe Batters" as at Al Capone's behest he had clubbed 3 "traitors" to death with a baseball-bat (didn't similar crop-up recently in one of my Blogs?).  3 guys who broke into Tony's house (somebody said, I never saw him so mad) were found castrated with their faces blow-torched-off.  Joey looks like a real-fine young man, a nice face with good hair, and I'm sure that such tendencies have faded after 3 generations.  I wouldn't cross his Mom, Cheryl.
