good talk

I'm still trying to get over the pangs of not having any "Inca Cola."  And in Peru I'd get Inca Massages with Hot Rocks, they compared well to the many deep-tissue massages that I've had in Thailand (see My Blog of Oct. 10, 2012).  Pedro Roque Otano was the Boxing Coach on 7 Cuban Olympic Teams and is regarded as perhaps the best Amateur Boxing Coach ever.  Otano was Cuban and Boxing Royalty but in 2009 he had a severe falling-out with the Castros and except for his International Stature quite probably would have been put in prison.  Instead he was broken to Street-Sweeper and required to push a broom down the streets.  Pedro managed to escape to the U.S. in 2012 and is soon likely to be named the "U.S. Olympic Boxing Coach."  The U.S. Olympic Boxing Program has long been on the downslide resulting in no American Men winning a Boxing Medal of any type in the 2012 London Olympics.  One of the few recent immigrants worth having, Pedro says he's working 30 hours a day to turn things around, hopefully the U.S.A. found gold in the streets.
